Undiscovered

Rate this book
Oil explorations in Southeast New Mexico produce seismic images of mysterious objects buried beneath the barren landscape. The initial excavation reveals one of eight American-built “UFOs” developed by former Nazi rocket scientists relocated to the United States following World War II, but buried soon thereafter to avoid triggering a Cold War arms race.

The government gives the land’s owner, Global Holdings, permission to recover the objects and disclose their existence, unaware that Global crews have found a ninth object buried several miles distant. Its silhouette differs markedly from the now obsolete “UFOs,” although it, too, appears to be man-made.

Global summons Ellen Richards to New Mexico in her role as lead reporter for the company’s Financial News Network, one of the conglomerate’s many holdings. Ellen’s international television reporting and name recognition provide near foolproof cover for her real job as an investigative agent for the network's parent company.

Traveling from Sri Lanka to London, to the forsaken plains of New Mexico, and on to the Oval Office, Camp David, and the wild coastline of western Scotland, she discovers this ninth object is the twin to a craft the U.S. government recovered during the so-called Roswell Incident. The two craft are American built, but from 400 years in the future, with vast stores of futuristic scientific data and military technology the U. S. government has been downloading from the first craft and exploiting for the past 70 years.

She has exclusive access to the story of the century, but it is a secret the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the President himself are determined never to let her reveal.
