I love a good slasher story, and this did not disappoint. It was disgustingly satisfying and oh so fun! I flew through this one and couldn’t wait to see how it ended.
The first part of the book introduces us to two couples- one who gets a thrill out of killing (hence the title) (Brett and Claire) and another who are recently engaged, enjoying a nice getaway (Jack and Diane). The two couples meet in a ride-share, end up having dinner together, and then go back to Brett and Claire’s for some evening games and drinks. Everything starts off innocently enough, but then the “games” start, and goodness- you can only imagine what sinister things Brett and Claire have in mind for their new friends.
For such a short read, the characters were well developed and distinct. The pacing was race car fast right from the start, and you’ll def be guessing what could possibly happen next as you flip the pages of this wild ride. There are some gruesome and gory parts, but that’s the nature of a Grindhouse read, so I totally expected and loved it!
If you’re into slasher, gory horror with a storyline (not just blood for the sake of being bloody), def pick this one up!

Absolutely recommend this. Thoroughly enjoyed my read through.
Thrill Killers is a short horror novel about a married couple who get a thrill from, believe it or not, killing people. This is a non-supernatural story that moves along at a quick pace with tight, sharp prose and well-drawn characters.
The first half of the story we spend time with 2 sets of couples (the good guys and the murder couple). At roughly the halfway point they meet and violence ensues.
The story does involve gruesome acts but Seven Caumo handles them well. He does not overly describe the grotesque. This is not an extreme horror novel.
It reminds me of a lot of Jack Ketchum's work and I'll definitely be looking for more from Caumo.

Loved it
This really is a great book for the beach. Or anywhere you can gasp freely. Funny, romantic, and most importantly, disturbing!

Such an amazing introduction to Steven Caumo, the writer. This story will keep you guessing until the end. The perfect combination of gory thriller and beautiful love story. Read this immediately.

This book was a wild ride from the start and I could not put it down. It is one of those books that even though it is a quick read, it packs a punch from page one and it does not let up at all. What I really enjoyed was the right mix of crazy lovers, violence and gore that all worked together and was never once over done.

A short but not at all dissatisfying read that gets to the point, pulls no punches, and will leave fans of the genre smiling!
