Angel Within
Jana, a powerful witch, and Tigan, a deceitful mercenary from Sabe and Kiera’s past, join forces to summon Samyaza, one of the most powerful of all fallen angels.
The witch strikes a bargain with the fallen angel to possess Tigan, making him indestructible in battle. In exchange for granting this gift, Samyaza seeks a sacrifice, someone gifted with seraph abilities in order that he can free himself of the bonds that hold him captive in hell.
It’s a race to save the sacrificial offering, and to stop Tigan from becoming possessed. Kai and Sabe join Brightstone and Blackhill’s forces to rid the world of the powerful, evil witch and Tigan. Once again the seraph come to the warriors aid, yet at what cost? I read, a lot. I devour books like they're going out of style. I watch tv a lot too, especially pilots for new shows, desperately seeking one thing that's been lacking for quite some time; a connection. Most books are soulless, and the tv shows are written as if they are expecting to be cancelled, rather than picked up for a whole season, so no one seems to care what you think of the characters any more.
Angel Within (and Demon Within before it) is different; instantly I felt a bond with the characters, even finding myself wondering how the most insignificant character is doing.
Kai is a wonderful, powerful man, but also flawed, making him likeable, Eloise is coming into her own, after a lifetime of control, and Nissa has overcome her humble beginnings, and is stronger than ever. I could go on, and on, because each of these characters has wormed their way into my heart, and rather than my recent feelings about whether a character lives or dies (a resounding 'meh') I find myself worrying about someone in this book when they stub a toe.
Julie Nicholls has an amazing way of bringing her characters to life, and I have to give a special mention to how good looking all of the men are (how to pick a favourite, I don't know; can a woman have a harem?!)
In conclusion to what started out as a review, and turned a little into a rant; I love this book. It will sit happily in the mental pile of "will read again" forever.
I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the third book!

The first book Demon Within was awesome and i couldnt wait to see what happened next with Kai and the rest. Julie Nicholls did not disappoint, i was unable to put the book down, a very interesting story, and the characters are lovely, can't wait for number three

An amazing sequel to Demon Within! New friendships and new enemies. Love, betrayal, heartache. And some steamy sex scenes too! This beautifully written tale of friendship, loyalty, and the lengths one will go to protect those you love is my new favorite of Julie's.

Just like the previous book(damon within) this one was interesting i couldnt put it down untill i finished it created a nice fictional image in my mind i totally enjoyed it

The first thing that I will say after reading Angel Within is that I REALLY NEED BOOK 3 NOW.
For all fantasy fans out there, this series is addictive, it kept my full attention throughout and i wasn't able to put it down until I'd finished.
It's full of action, twist, turns and a hint of mystery.
After everything that Kai has endured throughout his life he's finally found happiness, family & love and now he ends up _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
OMG wow. Please please please hurry with the next installment

OH EMM GEE!!!!
Julie Nicholls is back and even more badass than before. Angel Within, the second book in the Fallen Angels series, left me screaming NOOOOO at the end. Her first book Demon Within had you falling in love with the characters, Angel Within has you gripped, afraid almost to turn the page because you don't want it to end. If I could give more than five stars for this book, I definitely would. Julie Nicholls just keeps getting better and better. I'm now on the edge of my seat and my nails bitten to the quick in anticipation of Book 3.

Julie Nicholls has pulled me into her world again. She has made a rabid fan out of me. The characters are engaging, funny and each have flaws that make them relatable. I am a FOREVER fan. Julie Nicholls NEVER disappoints! I recommend Demon and Angel to all that love paranormal romance.

The author is amgazingly and unbelievably talented.she writes fantastic stories. In a word this book is a masterpiece. Just like demon within.

Angel Within is the second book in the Fallen Angels series. It continues the story of Kai, ex-slave and son of a fallen angel, and his wife, Eloise, and all their friends and compatriots. They are still fighting against their rivals, Tigan, and the witch, Jana.
The writing is good and since most of their friends have coupled off, steamy in some scenes. There weren't the epic battles of the first book since Kai has toned down some in character. Some things seemed just too coincidental in the story; there's a scene with Kai and Jana that didn't seem believable to me, for example.
But this is a terrific story with interesting and varied characters. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Angel Within is the second of Julie Nicholls' Fallen Angels trilogy. Kia is the monarch of the kingdom with Eloise at his side and their subject's consider him a just and fair ruler. But an evil that no one can identify disturbs the kingdom. Villages are burned to the ground leaving no evidence that the cause is raiders. The quest to discover the source of this evil spreading across the land leads to a spell binding adventure that I did not want to put down.
New characters are introduced in this second novel and the development of characters first introduced in Demon Within continues as conflicts arise and romances develop. The plot thickens in this continuing saga. A sacrifice is required as more sorcery and intrigue come into play. There is difficulty in identifying new friends from foe and secrets kept do not help. This is a classic battle between good and evil in a time of kings and queens.
There is a good balance in the fight of good against evil and the characters come alive with their fears, suspicions, and acts of heroism. There are some steamy sex scenes as relationships are developed. As with the first novel in the series, this is targeted for adults over 18. The book is well written and the story is quite engaging. Readers who like middle ages settings with magic, mystery, betrayal and romance will certainly like this novel. I give this a 5 star rating for well developed characters, intriguing plot, and well edited writing.

The first book, Demon Within, was awesome and I was desperate to see what would happen next... I was not disappointed!
All my old friends are back in this sequel and together we fell in love and met new friends, and we fought old and new enemies.
The descriptions are so vivid that you're drawn into the book. I could say that reading this book was like watching a film inside your head, but for me it's more like being a character in that film.
The story is full of surprises, intrigue, and adventure, and will keep you involved and turning the pages to the end... and what an ending!
I need to read the next book now.
The books do need to be read in order and are definitely for adults.

Angel Within, by Julie Nicholls, is the second book in her Fallen Angels trilogy. It picks up where Demon Within, the first book in the trilogy, left off, with Kai and Eloise as king and queen, and the books really do need to be read in order. If you read this series you're in for lots of adventure and intrigue...and some very spicy romance. ;-) The story is a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, that will keep you guessing until the end. This story is definitely 18+, but SSSOOO MUCH fun! Five stars for Angel Within, and I can't wait until the final installment in this thrilling series is released this Fall! :-)
