Wow, this is meddling gods at its finest ✨
I sped through this book within 24 hours I just couldn't put it down, it literally grips you from the prologue.

This is a rich story following our FMC who has a tragic backstory only to learn it's even more tragic than she ever thought. But that doesn't define her, her found family, internal strength and a cheeky strong warrior definitely helps 🤭

As you go through the story you build an incredible understanding of actually how much meddling has occured and how it is affecting the current situations.

We have a yearning man, a assassin FMC, corrupt gods in power, mysterious witches, hidden identity and a love that builds with time.

If you like a gentle MMC who would rip the world apart for his love, a cunning and clever FMC, forged friendships and family, being left wanting the next book immediately and secret plots, read this book.

I loved the FMC - she was everything I hoped she'd be. Feisty and strong, but with a soft heart for the people who matter most.
I struggled to connect with the MMC, and at times I found it difficult to distinguish between the two POVs from chapter to chapter.
That being said, the lore and worldbuilding were clearly well thought out, and these parts of the story flowed really well for me. Some other moments felt a little anticlimactic, and I occasionally felt that emotional scenes were explained rather than fully experienced on the page, which made it harder for me to connect with them.
I also wonder if the story may have benefited from having a little more room to breathe, as there were times when it felt like a lot was being packed into a single book.
Overall, there were elements I really enjoyed - particularly the FMC and the worldbuilding - but this book didn't quite draw me in the way I'd hoped. I'd still be interested in reading more from this author in the future!!

Overall 3.75 stars.

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It’s been a while since I had read romantasy and this book was great way back! We have a badass female assassin and a warrior fae with wings, a tabooed love story and a trickster villain; all the best concoctions to make a very interesting romantasy!
I genuinely found the story very entertaining especially the second half was more intriguing and offered a little something different from other romantasies.
I personally did not like nickname used for the FMC by the MMC but that’s a personal preference and I’m sure many would find it cute.
I also felt that although the book was well written with plenty of details, perhaps at certain points there was a little too much descriptive telling rather than leaving it to the readers imagination.
Overall, if you enjoy romantasies, you will definitely enjoy this book!

I very much enjoyed this book. It was whole new world of Fae for me to build inside my mind. A different magic system to grasp, with realm walking and the magical spices.

Humphrey and Avalaine.
I loved the banter between Humph and Avalaine.

Avalaine a very strong FMC. I love that she could be battling with her emotions but still hold a tough exterior.

Personally, I would have liked more description of the characters so I could create them in my mind better.

“One in the eye...we live life when we’re up, we crave it when we’re down, but at the end of it, we all shit our pants.”

I loved how badass Avalaine was and how she took control of her destiny. I found it hard to get into the book at first and struggled to see how the prologue connected with our FMC, whom we meet almost straight away, but by 25%, I got into the flow of the book. We meet our MMC and are thrown into the twists and turns that arise. Just hold on tight! I feel like our Villain still has unfinished business, so I expect to read a sequel!
If you are a Romantasy fan that loves the Enemies to Lovers trope, you'll like this book!

I received this as an ARC copy but it took me a while to read - more so because of my headspace than anything else. There's a fair bit of detail and world building so I had to make sure I was in the zone and not distracted whilst reading.
It's a great story that follows a badass assassin FMC and a yearning brooding Fae MMC that falls first. There's Fae, Gods, goblins, witches, sorcerers and humans.
Intrigued as to what could happen in the next book!
⚠️ There are triggers, particularly with the FMC's upbringing so please check these before reading 🖤

Bonded by Desire is an enjoyable romance that combines emotional connection, chemistry, and relationship drama. The story keeps readers engaged with its developing romance and the challenges the characters face along the way. The attraction between the main characters feels genuine, making it easy to become invested in their journey. Overall, it's a satisfying read for fans of romance who enjoy heartfelt relationships, tension, and a touch of drama.

The perfect romantasy escape. The vivid descriptions brought the world to life, making it easy to get completely lost in the story. The tension and chemistry between the characters kept me hooked, with twists and turns throughout. Bonded by desire has just the right balance of romance and fantasy. Making it acaptivating read that gave pure escapism, a real page turner.

It took me a while to actually get into this book… the beginning felt to slow, but the second half of the book was great and sped up a lot!

I really loved the FMC story and how she ended up taking control of her life and herself. We love a baddie ✨🤏🏽 she was such a strong person, but that didn’t deter her soft heart.

The world was very different than I’ve read before, and that was awesome!!

I was given this book as an arc by the author and this is my honest opinion.

This book was awesome, I couldn’t put it down. It drew me in and wouldn’t let me go. I couldn’t put the book down. Great first book can’t wait for more of the same. The characters, plot twist and storyline were spot on.

The story had me hooked pretty quickly, and the plot twists I genuinely DID NOT see coming!! I've read my fair share of romantacy books to know the gist of most but this one did have me like 😲 at times!

I read this within 3 days, so that itself should tell you how good it was!
