Will God Forgive Him?
The Moment Before Satan Fell!
Through a world where innocent eyes see evil in a reflection of supposed hope, Jeremy realizes his fear of a God he yearned to love, and the mystifying beasts he tries not to see, were in his life for a reason that he must battle to understand. Insanity is what he was told created these visions and prophecies, but Jeremy learns that madness is what he would wish he had. Thus a tremendous adventure commences. The wrath of God is what Jeremy was chosen to see, but through this dark undertaking, Jeremy Daven discovers that the worst he thought he already knew was only the beginning for what he didn't even see coming. Enlightenment would be the downfall, and the time of God would be the resurrection. In the end, the soul of truth, no matter how good or bad it may be, will be the only one standing.

The Wrath of Jeremy by Steven Andrew Salamon is a dark paranormal novel about four young men with an unexpected mission. Michael, Gabriel, Jeremy, and David have never been what the world would class as normal. However, once they all turn seventeen, they begin to experience very similar psychotic symptoms. Whenever they are around anything Christian related, the statues seem to come to life, each having visions of Christ. At their wits’ end, the parents of each boy end up putting them in an institution called Grewsal, under the care of a doctor, Mary Callahan. Mary is studying this rare phenomenon. But when supernatural forces tear Grewsal to shreds, Mary is forced to accept that there may be something more going on here than just delusions. Embarking with the boys on a mission sent by God, the group must travel to Jerusalem and uncover the location of several religious relics. Only then, will they be cured of the visions. But will it really be that simple? Or will evil forces beyond their control manage to sabotage the mission and doom mankind?
I found this novel to be very different from what I expected. It is a unique story, with many twists, and deep religious undertones. The Wrath of Jeremy was more about the struggle between good and evil. I found the characters to be well-developed, and flawed, which is important to me in a novel. Characters that are too perfect almost ruin good stories. A curious read, this novel ultimately made me think a lot about forces at work beyond our sight, even though I’m not a religious person myself. The Wrath of Jeremy by Steven Andrew Salamon might not be for everyone, but it is certainly well-written, and carefully thought out.
