Lisa and the MicaBots continue to spread across the frontier, exploring and placing sensors in asteroids, down mine shafts, on the surfaces of dead planets and elsewhere. Every ship leaving Aramis Station gains diasporic stowaways, and a vast network of ants and sensors is slowly growing over time. But there is one distant part of space where few seem to travel and return very often. Here, in an area known as the Coreflex Quadrant, Lisa seeks to establish a foothold . . . and perhaps uncover a dark secret or two.
Don’t miss the latest book in this fast-release, fast-action series! Featuring bar brawls, interstellar battles, high-tech gadgetry and loads of sci-fi fun, Phaethon Corp’s Space Marines will seize the day or die trying!
Coreflex Quadrant is yet another remarkable addition to the Phaethon Corp. series by Jaxon Reed. The story begins with Bo, Tom, Gwen, and others engaged in a discussion about the expansion of the universe.
They deliberate on their plans to conquer the new planet, Coreflex Quadrant, and the means of reaching it, as the route remains uncharted.
Lisa is hesitant to teleport to an unknown area due to potential dangers. Instead, she plans to deploy drones or bots to chart a safe course to the planet before she feels secure enough to teleport herself.
Inspired by Corey, Ace establishes a venue for everyone to release their pent-up energy in the ring, rather than risking chaos in the streets where things could turn lethal. This setup also offers a chance for participants to earn some cash by betting on the matches.
Coreflex Quadrant captivated my attention as I pondered how Lisa would navigate the route to this new world. I was eager to witness the MicaBots in action, and I anticipated the thrilling battle that would ensue when they attempted to seize the planet.
I adore the Phaethon Corp. universe, filled with MicaBots, space exploration, and the numerous conflicts they face. It keeps me engaged every moment, with never a dull second. I know I've mentioned this before, but I must reiterate how much I would love to see the Phaethon Corp. series adapted into a television show. Indeed, I would certainly watch it.
I am excited to plunge into the next installment, Exit Survey, in the Phaethon Corp. series to discover what adventures await the characters and where their space explorations will lead them next.
I strongly recommend obtaining a copy of Coreflex Quadrant today for another thrilling adventure in the Phaethon Corp. universe!
This is a space mercenary series about a small unit working for a company trying to work in deep space. Some fighting and a lot of work to build life in the far reaches of space.
I find it fascinating how the remnants of the war from the Pirates of the Milky Way generation pop up to make life difficult for this new generation. Tom Savage seems intent on building an empire to rival his father's without any intention of doing so, and there are rivals and foes popping up internally and externally as he has Lisa exploring the fringes of the interstellar frontier. There is so much happening - how is the author going to resolve any of this before the series ends? I can't wait to find out!
I received this ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Things are hopping as Bo and his gang do their thing and manage their station and make plans for the future. And of course others plan to interfere. Had me laughing hard at times and waiting to see what tricks Lisa and the Micabots might do next. Easy to read and hard to put down as always.
It seems extremely short with not much action in it. The introduction of new, very young, characters in it does not bode well for readability in any series in my experience. I have loved all of the previous books in the series. I would love the micabots to have their own spinoff.
