This book broke my heart, built it back up, broke it again, and lead me to a sense of calm and peace. Katlyn unpacks so much of her life into these pages and it pulls you in every direction.

Maybe it's because I know Katlyn and Riley that the feelings hit harder, but I honestly think her heart is so fully shared in these words that any stranger could read this and feel the same way.
I didn't realize how much I needed this story until I had finished it. Not to give Katlyn validation in her life, because that's something only she and God need to worry about, but to help myself understand there's reasons to the different seasons in our lives and God will provide that to us in ways we could never imagine.

Throughout this entire book I had so many thoughts I wanted to share. Things that stuck with me from start to finish. At first it was questions, but Katlyn answers those to the reader in the same manner they were answered for her. Now it is comments, knowledge, and reminiscent of the feelings I left with.

Under the Fig Tree is a book that any person can find support in, no matter their season of life.

Thank you to Katlyn for the ARC. It was an honor to pre-read and share about your book.

I could not put this book down. Katlyn has such a way with words. She made me cry. She made me laugh. She is truly an inspiration for anyone grieving.

I absolutely loved this book! It’s by far one of my favorites and I will always recommend it to others! While is sad and emotional it shows that Jesus is still there ever when you can’t see him! You will live an amazing life full of Jesus Katlyn
