From New York Times bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a new laugh-out-loud summer rom-com.
He clicked "yes" on a dare. She bought a failing candy shop. Now they're neighbors for the summer―and neither is ready for what comes next.
Renley Gossage has one shot to prove she's more than Cape Meril's favorite cautionary tale: restore her favorite candy shop before the town writes her off like they did her father. No help, no shortcuts, and definitely no rich men wielding engagement rings and making things messy.
Theo Williams never planned on ending up in Cape Meril. A drunken game of truth or dare turned into a botched online engagement, and now he's across the ocean, escaping his father's control with nothing but designer shoes, misplaced confidence, and a rental next door to Renley.
She's practical, stubborn, and covered in paint. He's posh, persistent, and willing to use a sander if it means earning her trust.
Between collapsing drywall, gossiping neighbors, and the chaotic schemes of Renley's aunt, their forced proximity turns into something dangerously close to real.
But Renley's future depends on standing on her own two feet, and Theo's past isn't done with him yet. By the time the candy shop doors open, they'll have to decide if this is just a summer fling―or the happily ever after neither of them saw coming.
When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.
You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.
I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.
I always know when I pick up a Meghan Quinn book, I’ll be in for a good laugh - and Rules for the Summer was no exception 😍
Thank you Meghan Quinn for the ARC & ALC, all opinions are my own.
This book was such a fun time! I went in without reading the blurb & I was laughing out loud in chapter 1 🙃
After a miscommunication where Theo is dared to join a website to find a fiancé, & Renley drunkenly joins the same website to find a financier (for her candy shop), they meet in her small town. Theo is determined to win her over, and Renley just wants to prove to her entire town that she’s more capable than they believe.
Both turn out to be exactly what the other needs. Theo needs to learn about living in the real world, after growing up privileged. Renley needs someone in her corner, after so many in her life have proven themselves unreliable.
I adored Theo, this somehow felt like “his” book (vs a more typical romance feeling like it revolves around the fmc). I struggled a bit to connect with Renley, I felt her character to be a bit overshadowed by all the rest, and it took me more time to know her better.
Rupert (Theo’s best friend) & Aunt Kitty (Renley’s aunt) were so amusing with all of their antics, and what they brought to the MCs.
🎧 narrated in duet by Stella Hunter & Shane East, with Melissa Metcalf & Gary Furlong as the side characters all of the narrators brought so much to the story, infusing even more humor into a hilarious story!

📖 Rules for the Summer by Meghan Quinn 💜: contemporary romance (mf) 🎙 narrated by: Stella Hunter & Shane East, with Melissa Metcalf & Gary Furlong
I always look forward to Quinn’s summer books because they’re guaranteed to be a little chaotic, completely over the top, and ridiculously hilarious in the best way. They’re the kind of stories that just feel like summer, and this one absolutely delivered.
I genuinely couldn’t stop listening because I needed to know what was going to happen next. The pacing kept me hooked, and every time I thought things couldn’t get more unhinged, they somehow did.
We’ve got a guy who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the girl to fall for him, and a girl who is so standoffish that it honestly makes their dynamic even better. The push and pull between them was so entertaining, and somehow they end up feeling like a perfect match.
If you’re looking for a light, laugh-out-loud romance to throw on your summer TBR, this one is definitely worth picking up.
This book was so good! It had me laughing out loud crying while also being so sweet and swoony! Hands down the funniest MQ book that I’ve read! The audio was phenomenal 10/10 the narrators were fantastic. Shane East was perfect for Theo! The banter between Theo and Renley was top tier😭And the slow burn was delicious😮💨🥵
Renley is independent but a little chaotic and is trying to buy and save the local candy shop. She goes on an app trying to find a financier to help her. In comes Theo who is looking for a fiancée for an arranged marriage to save his title for the British lord. The mixup and miscommunication brings them together and it will have you absolutely rooting for them!
You get the best side characters in this one with Aunt Kitty and Rupert who will have you laughing until you’re in tears! This is the perfect book to kick off summer! Definitely add this to your tbr immediately!
Thank you to team Meghan Quinn for sending me this ALC! This releases on May 5th
This is probably my favorite MQ book, It completely immersed me and i had a great time reading. I listened to the alc while reading the arc copy and y’all the audio is so good. Stella hunter and Shane East did an incredible job voicing the different characters and bringing to life this fun story. This book was fun in mostly a non cringy way (i don’t mind the cringe sometimes lol) and the plot was good. The fmc is trying to get the funding to open her candy store and with the help of her aunt signs up to match with a guy on a website she thinks is for people looking for financiers. The mmc is a British lord who matches with the fmc on an app for fiancés so that his overbearing dad will stop asking him for a wife. He gets on a plane to Massachusetts and realizes that both mmc are looking for two different things.
I loved how both characters met it was definitely unique. I also like how the forced proximity came about after the fmc get denying the mmc’s proposal leading to them actually getting to know each other and spending time together. I thought the romance was a slow burn that paid off so well. I was rooting for them to be together and loved seeing them develop a friendship and them romantic relationship. This book had spicy scenes in many different places lol👀. I appreciated that even with the humor real topics were also explored which led to emotional moments and character development. Overall a great read thanks to MQ and the team for this arc for an honest review.
Read for: - British lord mmc and American fmc - Forced proximity - Miscommunication (at first) - Opposites attracts - Public steamy time
Rules For The Summer by Meghan Quinn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🩷 Theo and Renley! 🩷
I cannot express how much I screamed when I was contacted by the Meghan Quinn team letting me know that I was going to be receiving this eARC! After reading this, I am now chomping at the bit to hear the audiobook! I need to hear this dialogue between Theo and Rupert and their accents so bad! Like yesterday.
Theo and Rupert are big on the game of Truth or Dare and welp…this dare just may have gone a little too far. What was supposed to be all fun and games turned into Theo signing up on fiancé.com and since Theo is next in line for the lordship title, he got quite a few hits! Unfortunately for Theo, his dad (AKA Lord Dickwad) finds out and threatens Theo to follow through or he’s going to make Theo marry the armpit-smelling daughter of his friend. 🙊😂 Theo says NOPE and instantly finds the match he wants to make it work with. Insert Renley…
Renley has just been awarded the town’s historic candy shop and it’s up to her to bring it back to all its glory. How does she end up being matched on fiancé.com? Well folks, she has a crazy aunt who told her she had the money for Renley to start renovating the shop but she doesn’t and so the aunt’s brilliant idea is to get a fincancier. One drunken night goes by and here comes Theo, proposing to Renley right there in her front yard!
I LOVED the way Theo LITERALLY could not be deterred by Renley’s shut downs. How many boxes does this book check? ✅ ummm ALL OF THEM! Theo begs for just more time with Renley because he knows in his sweet little British heart that he is for sure going to win her over by the end of the summer which is his deadline. What Theo does NOT expect is to literally start falling for her and falling HARD. Renley has a hard time trusting people in general because the most important people in her life, her dad and her aunt, constantly let her down. So this girl is determined to NOT let anyone in ever again. Mmhmm. Yeah. Right.
You will enjoy the banter (pfft…duh Meghan Quinn is the banter queen) and you will enjoy the spice. And once Renley starts realizing how magnetic Theo is, oh boy, do you feel the heat! 🔥🚒❤️🔥🧯
Let’s take a peak at these TROPES! ✨
🥵Lot’s of Truth or Dare! (One scene will get you sweating! 🥵) 🥰Mix-up Meet cute 🌊Pond PDA (Super steamy!) 🍒Spicy toy time 📝Super cute note passing 🤣Laugh-out-loud moments 💙He falls first 🍭Candy shop fun 😏 🐴Hobby horse shenanigans
A couple of my favorite parts (there’s so many but I’ll only list a few):
“Gossy, the British are coming and you have no idea what’s about to hit you.”
“Like this right here, says he’s DTF before commitment. Clearly it means he’s down to finance before fully committing.” 😂
“You can never trust someone planning to go on a walk in loafers. Absolutely not. 😂
“Are you asking me to show you how to be a real boy?”
Go grab this book on May 5th! I can’t wait to see the physical copy artwork and hear the audiobook that I’ve already pre-ordered!
Thank you so much to Meghan Quinn and her hardworking team for gifting me this opportunity in exchange for my honest review! 💖
So thankful for the opportunity to read & listen to this early copy! Let me tell you, this one did not disappoint!!
Shane East, Stella Hunter, Gary Furlong and Cassandra Medcalf absolutely brought the humor and emotion in this one through these characters!! I loved this narration! If you have the choice DO NOT skip on this audio!
This book had me laughing from the start & it never let up! This might be the funniest book I’ve read by MQ to date & gosh, was it a fun ride!! The banter between Renley & Theo was top notch!
Renley is a strong, sweet, a little chaotic FMC who was trying to save & redo the town candy shop. She is looking for a financier to get it done. Insert Theo, a hilarious MMC who is looking for a fiancée for an arranged marriage to save his title as a British lord. This man had the quick & witty comebacks and banter that had me busting out laughing. The mixup/miscommunication that brings them both together will have you absolutely laughing and rooting for these two!
This book while funny, is also a swoony, sweet, and heartfelt read that will have you loving every second. Theo is supportive & absolutely fighting to win Renley over. I loved both of these characters so much. & Let me tell you, it has some of the best side characters that I was obsessed with too!! Rupert might be a new fave side character for me 🤭😅
If you’re looking for a fun, wholesome, down right hilarious summer read that will have you swooning & sweating (after some delicious slow burn), you are not going to want to miss this one!! Definitely a new top read by Meghan for me!!
I had such a great time with this one. Huge thank you to Meghan and her team for letting me listen to the audiobook early because wow… it was so well done.
This book is pure summer chaos in the best way. The banter? Top tier. I literally had to rewind multiple scenes just to relisten because it was that funny. If you’re someone who loves humor that actually lands, this delivers.
Renley is such a solid FMC. She’s strong, determined, and really trying to prove herself, which made it so easy to root for her. And Theo… listen, I was not sold at first. He came off like a pompous, out of touch rich boy, but his growth? So good. By the end, I was fully invested.
And the side characters absolutely made this book. Rupert and Theo together are a complete hot mess express and I mean that as the highest compliment. Their dynamic was perfection. And Aunt Kitty? A whole vibe. And her interactions with Rupert… yeah, you’ll see 👀
The story itself is lighthearted, chaotic, and full of heart. Between the candy shop renovation, small town gossip, and forced proximity, it just works. It’s fun, it’s feel-good, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously while still giving you characters you care about.
If you’re looking for something that will make you laugh out loud, keep you entertained, and just put you in a good mood, this is absolutely it.
Read this if you want hilarious banter, chaotic but lovable characters, forced proximity summer vibes, and a lighthearted, feel-good romance.
This one was such a good time from start to finish.
I've listened to around 23 of Meghan's books and have rated most of them 4-5 stars. They are typically my favorite reads. This one however felt like a chore to get to the end. The characters were unremarkable and the plot & dialogue was way too slapstick. I'd take the Cane brothers and saving the pigeons any day over this.
I absolutely LOVED this story!!!! Aunt Kitty was my favorite she was hilarious! When she was helping Renley find someone to finance her newly acquired candy shop, I was laughing so hard!!!! Theo’s british future lord and he must find a fiancé by the end of the summer. Theo offers to give her funds for her shop in exchange for spending time together. I adored their conversations. I laughed literally so much!!! I will always read a Meghan Quinn book! So grateful I received an e-arc and alc!!! ✨
"What I do know is that this is the first time in a long time where I actually feel content, and I know it has to do with YOU."
Tropes: Small town Neighbors He falls first Opposites attract Forced proximity Rom Com
4.5 stars. Finished just in time to meet the woman herself on tour for this book! Now…I realized something while reading: I don’t care for the trope where the man is rich and oblivious to how working class or others live without the access to opportunities that money and a name get you. I don’t think I would have enjoyed this book as much had someone else written it. But! Meghan knows how to incorporate the humor and heart we all know and love. I was unsure I the beginning but as always it all plays out for our people. No third act break up just a bit of rearranging some priorities and ta-da! Another winner from MQ!
Welcome to Cape Meril, a small town that's not so friendly, especially to Renley Gossage. Her father and aunt were deemed eccentric and not following anything seriously through, so it's a surprise to Renley when she's awarded the bid to renovate the old sweet shop in town. When she discovers that her aunt doesn't have the funds she promised to renovate, in a drunken haze, she signs up on a website to find a financier to support her. Now she has real problems.
English posh boy Theo, running away from his father and proving he can also follow through on a deal, arrives on Renley's doorstep on one knee, proposing to her after they matched on a fiancé website. You're beginning to see the problem. Renley needs finance, and Theo needs a fiancée. Renley sends him away, but he's rented the house next door for the summer and sets out to woo Renley.
I loved this book; it was hysterically funny and also quite emotional at times. Renley was a hard worker, but found trusting people hard as she's been let down so much in the past. Theo is happy-go-lucky and has never worked a day in his life, but he doesn't want the life of a lord, the one his father has laid out for him. They were so good for each other; he helped her trust people, and she helped him grow stronger in life skills and to wish for something more for himself.
I also loved Aunt Kitty and her hobby horses, although she needed a reality check quite a few times. I absolutely loved Rupert; he was a total nutcase, but also turned out to have a lot more depth to him than the facade he presented to the world.
This is a great holiday read and a good lesson in following your dreams (just maybe don't play truth or dare when drunk).
When I was offered the ALC to Rules For The Summer I jumped at the chance to listen to it knowing it would be another hilarious rom-com from the talented and witty Meghan Quinn. Meghan’s book always put me in the best moods with the hilarious banter and actions of the characters. I mean come on, an aunt who wants to be a hobby horse influencer? No one but Meghan can come up with something like that. Something that really made this book so good was the side characters of Kitty and Rupert. They were so hilarious and the voices in the audiobooks made them even better. I had tears in m eyes during the mouse scene listening to Rupert screaming. As for the main characters I of course loved them because how could I not? Renley just wants to prove herself and stand on her own two feet. She’s such a hard working determined person and I loved to read about her working towards her dreams. Theo’s character starting off with the hilarious game of truth or dare really showed how funny and unserious his character was so it was nice to read about him finding a purpose and wanting more for his life. Renley and Theo met in the weirdest and most hilarious ways and I loved every second of their journey together. This was another 5/5 star book from Meghan Quinn and I recommend it to anyone who likes opposites attract, forced proximity, neighbours to lovers romances.
I’m glad I got both ARC and ALC cause I’m not sure I would make the deadline if I only got the ARC, this baby is loooong.
The laughs were there, the flirting was super cute, overall it’s a very good summer read. Mostly easy and funny with some unhinged moments (the aunt character and Rupert!)
The mouse scene had me cackling, it was truly amazing on audio!
The spice was also there, mostly in the second half, some scenes were quite intense (it might be the audio that elevated the experience) and long (no complaints, just stating the fact!)
Longer review to come on release day -> ok so its release day and I was planning to write something longer but tbh what else do you need other than: it’s super fun and spicy summer read! Read if you like romcoms. Most LOL moments provided by aunt that is into hobby horses and Theo’s friend - Rupert.
She was looking for a financier, he was looking for a fiancée. Misunderstanding resulting in almost 600 pages of laughs, flirty banter and spicy spice.
Audiobook is pure fire but I guess it’s nothing new when it comes to Meghan Quinn’s audiobooks. Narrated by Stella Hunter and Shane East. Audio duration: 15h21min I think some scenes were really elevated with the audio performance, for example the mouse scene (I was CACKLING) or the spice (I double checked if my headphones are connected)
I added some reading updates so go check them out ;) The romance was cute, the banter was bantering also in a cute and flirty way. I loved how Theo’s persistence showed in “I’m going to wear her down” way but it wasn’t red flaggy but cute and swoony.
4.25 Stars! You truly can never go wrong with a Meghan Quinn book. No matter what, she’s going to make you laugh, and Rules for the Summer definitely delivered on the humor and chaos. 😂☀️🍭
This was such a fun summer rom-com with forced proximity, quirky small-town vibes, and two characters who completely balanced each other out. Renley is determined to prove herself by restoring a struggling candy shop, while Theo is basically a posh disaster trying to escape his own mess but together they were entertaining from the start. Their banter was SO good.
There were a few parts that felt a little slow in the middle, but overall I still really enjoyed the story and the relationship development. The small-town side characters added so much charm, and Theo honestly stole a lot of scenes for me. 💛
4.5 stars! In typical MQ fashion, this was so hilariously quirky and fun to read and listen to! I literally live to see what weird and crazy lines are in her books that will have me laughing out loud!
When Theo shows up in the states thinking he’s getting a fiancé to appease his father and keep his title as a British lord, Renley is utterly shocked as she was looking for someone to help finance restoring and reopening the candy store in her town. Despite this mix up on the website where they matched, Theo is determined to stick around and change Renley’s mind. Let’s just say I was already loving them from the first interaction and their banter is so good!
The audiobook for this was so fun to listen to! Performed in duet by Shane East and Stella Hunter, also featuring Gary Furlong and Melissa Metcalf - they really brought this book to life and I devoured it!
What to expect: ☀️small town 👙forced proximity ☀️opposites attract 👙he falls first ☀️neighbors to lovers 👙British hero ☀️dislike to lovers 👙mix up meet cute ☀️slow burn
Big thank you to Meghan & her team for letting me read and listen to an early copy!
When I say, a PERFECT summer read. Truly. Grab it, toss it in your bag and head to the beach because we have another Meghan Quinn summer romance to giggle and blush over.
And when I say I will never think about truth or dare the same again 😮💨- in the best way. It is a constant throughout this book and throughout the development of Renley and Theo’s relationship and it just adds an element of fun and spice like you can’t believe.
The nostalgia and excitement I have over Renley opening up a candy store- I’m actually disappointed I can’t visit in real life because what she’s done is a dream and when I’m on Cape Cod this summer, I’m going to be a little sad that I can’t visit Rudder’s Sweets.
I was so fortunate to receive an ALC from MQ and her team and the way that we get full cast narration is just *chefs kiss*. Theo had me full on BLUSHING-while strolling the aisles of Costco. If the people ONLY KNEW! Phew. Amazing.
Thank you again to Meghan and her team for the chance to listen early. This was the best time!
4⭐️ (Audiobook!) what a perfect summer book! Loved every part of this and the characters were hilarious. I found myself laughing the whole time. Whitty, fun & a great romance story.
#Review: *Rules For The Summer* - Meghan Quinn - ARC/ALC [18+] 4.5/5✨ 3/5🌶️
Renley Gossage wanted to prove herself to everyone from the small town she was living in, Cape Meril. She never thought that when she needed an investor to help her with the candy shop she wanted to buy for a long time and to restore it, Renley would wake up with a man in front of her door who would be asking her to get married to him. Theo Williams came out of nowhere, being determined to win Renley and convince her to accept his proposal, because he had to fulfill the dare he accepted while drunkenly playing the famous game of "Truth or Dare". But things weren't that easy because Renley wanted to focus on the candy shop she wanted to open and Theo had to figure out how to tackle the situation he found himself in, because there was a constant pressure which his family was putting on his shoulders. Can this work out for them in the end?
Hmm, I can say that I didn't really liked Theo in the beginning of this story🫣. It was something about him which got me the impression that he was too cocky and that he was entitled to everything, including the poor girl that woke up with him in one knee and being proposed to. But that completely changed while reading more from this book, Theo swooning me with each sweet gesture he was doing while trying to conquer Renley's heart. On the other side, I truly liked Renley's determination to prove herself and how she didn't make Theo's job easy, constantly being against everything he wanted from her. I adoooored that banter between them and how they were constantly trying to have their own way. Besides this, I liked the atmosphere the secondary characters have created, being all goofy and super fun, especially Theo's butler Rupert🤭. I laughed soooo hard while listening to a couple of scenes, which were ridiculously funny, Stella Hunter and Shane East doing such a brilliant job in bringing these characters to life.🤣
I simply love how each of Meghan Quinn's books manages to bring a smile to my face. It was so enjoyable to follow these characters on their journey to love and happiness. Those small town vibes were the best and I liked how these strangers started to slowly became more in time. You must read this book if you want to have a good time and laugh a little🤭.
Super grateful for being part of your review crew/influencer team and for the opportunity this has offered me🥰. Thank you Meghan and team for sending me this e-ARC and the ALC of Rules For The Summer🤗.

I started giggling from the very first minutes and kept laughing throughout the entire book. The humor in this story is so perfectly done that the first half honestly felt less like a romantic comedy and more like a full-on comedy with just a sprinkle of romance at first 🤌🏻
Because truly — the setup is peak chaos-comedy: a spoiled English aristocrat and his best friend get so carried away during a drunken night out that less than twenty-four hours later they end up in the U.S. with a marriage proposal for a girl from a small tourist town. How exactly did that happen, and what role did a game of Truth or Dare play in all of this? Read it (or better yet, listen to the audiobook) and find out — it’s absolutely worth it 🤌🏻
One of the best parts of the story was the friendship between the two men. Their bromance was so ridiculously funny that I was constantly laughing, but underneath all the humor there was something genuinely touching about their bond too. Teo and Rupert completely stole my heart 💓
And honestly, the secondary characters were written so incredibly well. I loved how much they influenced the main characters and how every relationship in the story actually mattered. Everything felt emotionally grounded — every fear, every insecurity, every decision came from past wounds, yet none of it stopped the characters from wanting something better for their future. Watching the character growth unfold brought such warm happiness. Not only for Theo and Renley, but also for Aunt Kitty and Rupert.
This story was full of laughter, but also moments of sadness, self-discovery, reevaluating priorities, and learning what truly matters. It was warm, comforting, funny, emotional, and genuinely uplifting.
Books by Meghan Quinn always manage to make me smile, laugh, and dream a little. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
And I especially need to praise Gary Furlong for his narration of Rupert — I honestly haven’t laughed that hard in ages. The “mouse scene” had me crying with laughter 😂😂😂
The audiobook experience was absolutely wonderful 🥰
✨ Tropes ✨
💍 Accidental marriage proposal 🇬🇧 Chaotic British aristocrat MMC 😂 Rom-com chaos 🥃 Drunken decisions 🤝 Iconic bromance 💘 Small town romance 🎭 Truth or Dare gone wrong ✨ Emotional character growth 🏡 Found family vibes 🫶 Healing from past trauma 🔥 Flirty banter 🎧 Amazing audiobook narration 💕 Warm & wholesome romance
I’m struggling with this one because Meghan is usually an automatic five-star author for me. I’m absolutely religious about the The Agitators, Bridesmaid and Almond Bay Series, and standalones like The One Night and Till Summer Do Us Part - all 10/10 reads for me. Because of that, I had really high expectations for Rules for the Summer, but unfortunately, it fell flat for me.
I’m an audiobook girlie through and through, and the narration played a big role in my experience. The female narrators just didn’t work for me, especially Renley’s. For the first half of the book, she came across as monotone and lacking emotion, which made it really hard to connect with her character. I genuinely struggled to believe that a British lord would spend an entire summer pining after her when her personality felt so flat in the audio performance. Honestly, I felt more chemistry between Rupert and Aunt Kitty during the first 50% of the book.
The premise also started to lose me the more I thought about it. We’re supposed to believe these two wealthy British playboys came to the US and essentially became celibate all summer while simply waiting and hoping their grumpy neighbor would finally give Theo a chance?
Also, Renley and Theo constantly revising the rules they made for each other started to feel dragged out and overly repetitive instead of charming or tension-building.
That said, Theo absolutely carried this book for me. He was the definition of a golden retriever MMC, and his personality was the main reason I was able to push through to the end. I just wish the romance, chemistry, and pacing had matched his energy.
Meghan girl, I don’t know how you do it, but this was such a funny and cute read. Rupert had me laughing out loud so many times. I definitely need a friend like him. Theo, on the other hand, was so sweet. He’s an acts of service type of guy, and I loved that for Renley.
I enjoyed Renley’s character, especially her determination to follow her dream and make a name for herself by opening her own candy shop. Theo and Renley’s banter was so flirty and cute, and they definitely had a lot of steamy moments.
I’m going to say it again; Meghan never disappoints me with her sense of humor, banter, and the chemistry between her characters. The found family in this was perfect, especially when everyone came together to surprise Renley.
I had the opportunity to listen to the ALC, and the cast for this book was phenomenal. They did an amazing job keeping my attention, making me laugh, and bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend.
Meghan, Queen of RomCom, strikes again! She never misses when it comes to delivering a LAUGH-OUT-LOUD story packed with top-tier banter, spice, and all the swoon-worthy moments you can handle. What started as game of Truth or Dare (especially when alcohol and spelling are involved) became a chaotically entertaining romance between Theo and Renley where “rules” were meant to be broken!
Another highlight for me were the side characters - specifically Aunt Kitty and Rupert - who provide a level of COMEDIC GOLD that elevates the entire story!
The audiobook is a MUST! The full cast narration is chef’s kiss! And can I say, I’m all for a British accent!
I couldn’t put this book down! 10/10 recommend!
**Special thanks to Meghan Quinn and Good Girls PR for granting me the opportunity to have the ARC & ALC for this! I can’t wait for the release!
