Alice in Borderland Volum 6 was more or less an informative one. We get a sneak peek into the past lives of many characters and there is a small revelation about the games' nature. The short story is also concluded in this one. Overall, and so far, the story is continuing strong. Though there aren't many 'games', the plotting and the scheming were what keep things going. The art is bloody, dark and just perfect for the story.

Volume 6 is again another great entry to the story.
Not much to say about this other than it's a solid continuation. The art remains good and the plot thrilling.

Arisu has a plan about finding who the witch is in the game and we also find out about the backstories of some characters.

There's also the rest of the side story that was very good and surprising. I can't wait to see where it leads.

Looking forward to the next one!

This is a favorite volume contender. It starts out with the second half of the side story, which was great, and ends on one of the coolest plot twists. I never would've guessed in a million years that Arisu was the hoodie guy. Such a good moment. As for the rest of the volume, it pushes the stakes really well. Characters make some very cool very smart decisions, and we get a lot of character development for some of the Beach side characters, especially Kuina. Incredible volume.

nie dzialo sie zbyt wiele od ostatniego tomu, jednak mozemy tu poznac przeszlosc kilku postaci, dzieki czemu staja sie one troche bardziej ludzkie. a, no i przede wszystkim duet kuiny i ann to jest cos, czego potrzebuje wiecej.

This is where the story REALLY picks up and shows truly what its characters and plotlines are capable of. While the games are interesting (especially the 4♥️ which is not present in the live action), the characters are the true core of the story and we have to thank the author for giving them such depth. I am grateful to him for understanding how the human psiche works and not shying away from giving "antagonists" human backgrounds. Drawing parallels between characters (Niragi/Chishiya, Last Boss/Kuina) is also a very enjoyable and intelligent narrative choice. Some panels are really memorable, like the one where Kuina and Last Boss stare at each other.
I am particularly thankful for the existence of Kuina's character, because a badass trans woman whose backstory is explored without making her entire character about it is more than a rarity (not just in Japanese media but also literally everywhere. Trans representation is scarce).
My main criticism with this manga remains the way Asō Haro draws women's bodies, and that may be the norm in manga but it doesn't make it any less cringe to me.
Overall a really, really good volume that I will consider buying in Japanese in the future.

It's been so long since I've read...anything...that keeps me so on the edge of my seat. This volume started out amazing -- that elevator game was INTENSE. Dodo really grew on me - and seeing him go through this amazing range of emotions throughout the game -- it really was a great Hearts game. I love how there was a way to cooperate and strategize so everyone could get to the top -- but the electric shocks and the ability to rise up further if you trick someone -- that was just DIRTY (again -- whenever I find out who built these games - I hope they get a good butt-kicking, because MY GOODNESS).

Back to Dodo real quick though -- when he lied and started to sink to the level of everyone else who had betrayed him in his life, especially his dad and his friend -I love the emptiness in his eyes, and the eventual anger. I think that he went through so much emotions in such a short amount of time - but he was able to regain his humanity just in time, and he shows the power of a heartfelt apology. Again, I am a SUCKER for "the power of friendship" and "heart" and all that good stuff. And the freaking ENDING of the side story when Arisu helps him even with no chance of getting helped back, but then Dodo DOES help him by giving him the answers from the pamphlet -- I was gonna cry, I'm not even lying. There was something so pure in that hug when they both got to the 20th floor. Like, just something so cathartic about it. This author knows how to play with our poor feelings. Trust is worth it, even if you can get hurt by some undeserving people -- but it's still worth it *insert meme of crying fist-pump lady*

The rest of the volume keeps the stakes high, and An and Arisu both know who the murderer is...but...ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER. I think I'm just gonna have to check out all of the books from the library at the same time, because at THIS rate, I'm going to run out of tables to flip from all these cliffhangers.

Come from Netflix series because I can't wait for ss2! Finished the whole manga within a few days and it was such a pleasure experience

The idea is briliant, still haven't wrapped my head around how the author was able to come up with such awesome and meaningful story like that. It really makes me question my true identity on the verge of death, when I have to make choices that I bet my life on. I think I'll never know who I really am

I like all the characters. It's a shame that the 2 best friends of Arisu die too soon. I wanted to see them more in the story, but like the story said at some point, their deaths are " necessary evil" for Arisu to mature.
Shibuki was a calculating person and will do anything to hold on to her life. I cried when she smiles and embraces Chunta during her last few seconds of the hide and seek game. It's like she finally accepts her fate that she is about to die. It was such a hard moment for Shibuki to let go considering what she did in the past, but she did it, and at least she was happy in her last moment

the side story went in a direction i didn't expect it to, but i was absolutely surprised and delighted by the ending! i love how the manga is continuously asking questions and exploring themes of morality and purpose. is there point to life if there is only deceit? if there is no trust or friendship or hope? interesting concepts very well explored and executed.

i love how this volume gives us more insight into everyone's pasts - though i almost wish there was even more! - and i loved the growing tensions of the witch hunt. arisu, usagi and the rest are quickly growing on me as some of my overall favorite characters.

Wrapped up an important storyline, but...splitting the party is my least favorite thing because in split perspectives there's always a storyline I'm more interested in and one I don't care as much about, and this book has that in spades (haha..ha...)

The intrigue of the games, especially the hearts games, does make it a little more suspenseful even when you don't know the characters involved yet. I think the show did it right though in entangling one of our main characters instead of just using strangers.

I just wish I was more interested in Arisu and Usagi than I am in the other characters (old and new).

The Ten of Hearts game continues to escalate in this volume. We also get to see the backstories of certain characters such as Kuina and Last Boss. Overall, this was a fast-paced and riveting volume! Also, loved seeing the story of Hayato Dodo explained further in the side-story and how he ties into Arisu. Plus, that Four of Hearts game was wild. Wish we could've seen that in the Netflix version! 5/5

Loved the 4 of hearts side story: I guess I get excited reading about extra games I didn't get in depth in the show. The witch hunt is the culmination of the concept, it's just great. Some interesting backstories.

Today I learned about the gun laws in Japan. It's not obvious in the entertainment they produce.
