Finding Us

Rate this book
I'm loud, I'm proud, and I like to bust balls in my spare time.
At least, that's what Low Parker would do.
But she is just a mask, one I have perfected over years of running.

I am Willow Knoxx. Master of deception, secrets, and lies.

I am the girl your mother told you to stay away from,
and the girl your father fantasized about.
I have been running for years, always looking over my shoulder.

Now, the mask I have perfected is about to disappear,
and everything I have done to keep myself hidden is about to be revealed.

I’m willing to hide from my past to protect my future.

This is the 3rd book in The Bad Boy Series and like the ones that came before I am blown away with another 5 star read. I don’t know where S.K. came from before this series but watch out because she has some crazy good thoughts running through her head. Even with her more than crazy storylines when she puts everything together into a story it all comes out to perfection.

We got a glimpse of Low from the previous books but who know hidden underneath that beautiful and loving outgoing girl was something dark and disturbing. The life before Tate, Neva and Logan was anything but perfect, anything but a great life. Something dark and twisted that left her wanting to escape and put it all behind her. In fact for years she has managed to live a life as normal as possible for a girl of her caliber but like they say, lies and the past will eventually find you and when they do it’s up to you on what you do about it.

Finding Us is the story of Low and Tate and how the secret that Low has kept for so long will finally reach them causing Low to risk everything, including her own life, to keep Tate save from the demons of her past. Nobody knows the real Low, her alter ego, her past life, the acts that she not only witnessed but committed herself and soon, very soon, she has to make the decision to let the people who she has grown to care about and love in revealing the truth about everything or take off and continue down the path of playing hide and seek.

For me Finding Us was jaw dropping. I am so glad that S.K. took Low and turned her not only into a character that I loved but a woman who risked it all for the chance to finally have a normal existence. She is stronger than she would every give herself credit for and she deserves nothing but happiness. Tate is lover to the bone but when it comes to those he loves the fighter in him comes rushing out. He is passionate and strong and very possessive (in a good way) about what is his and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He surprised me in this book with his determination to not back down and stand up against evil for Low.

Twists, turns, and shocking moments during Finding Us left me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next. S.K. has a brilliant mind that gives us hair pulling, teeth grinding novels that will leave you breathless and wondering when the next one will be released. The Bad Boy Series is full of anxious moments, love, sex, dark sinister demons, and the fight that people will go through for the all consuming love that they so desperately want in their lives.

This is the story of Low and Tate and the obstacles they both have to get through and survive in order to finally life a normal life; a life that so many people take for granted but others crave. Grab the book and see if Low and Tate can make it on the other side of Finding Us.

SPOILERS ALERT! I did not enjoy this book as much as I did with the first 2 of the series. Even though it was Low’s and Tate’s story, I thought I knew more about Ace than Tate by the end. I know it’s a set up to his own book, but I was looking forward to seeing (in more than one small chapter) what caused the riff between Tate and his mom and having more interaction that a head nod in the hospital. I would like to have seen a conversation between them and maybe some reconciliation. I just think it was tied up way to quick. As for Low, I just didn’t care for her. A mob leader at 19-20, really? And what happened to her mom? Finally, what was the secret Logan supposedly was keeping from Neva? It seemed a bigger deal was made about that than Tate and his mom’s relationship and it wasn’t even tied up.

**FULL REVIEW**

“To my friends, I was the girl with the bubbly attitude and a fiery temper to boot. I was the girl who had the unenhanced blonde hair, ice blue eyes, and flawless makeup. But, I was more, so much more than anyone could ever imagine.”

Low Parker wears a mask. Every day is the same, cover up the scars on the outside to hide the ugliness that is inside. Six years she’s been hiding, lying, running. And she keeps count…

“One hundred and fifty little lies sat in the jar staring at me, boring a hole right through my own heart. One hundred and fifty lies, one hundred and fifty hearts broken over the years. One hundred and fifty reasons for me to carry on running.”

Problem with running is that eventually you get tired. You slow down. And that is when life catches up to you. But not Low…things start happening to make her rethink every decision she has ever made. There are more people involved now, people she cares about, loves. How can she keep running when everything in her is telling her to face a life she hoped she’d never have to?

“I was in too deep. I had people I cared about new, my heart was no longer my own; it was shared between the relationships I had made. I couldn’t ignore the warning, I had to finally face the music – even if it killed me.”

Facing her past is easier said than done…and the people in her former life are hell-bent on making it one painful transaction. So the lies keep coming. Low has to protect those she has come to care about…one lie at a time.

“One hundred and sixty little lies. One hundred and sixty explanations of why fighting might not be good enough in the end.”

So, what happens when the music finally stops and the lights come on? Show is over, everyone is seen for who they truly are and Low is no exception. Only the love for her friends, and Tate, proves to be a weakness she can’t afford. Especially Tate. When the heart gets involved where she comes from, it can only hurt you further…the only way to beat it, is to become it.

“You need to step out of the mind of Low, and remember who you really are, Willow.”

No longer able to run from her past, Willow does what any person would do when pushed into a corner…

“What choice did I have? If I didn’t do what they wanted, they would destroy anyone who stood in their way. I wasn’t about to let anyone get close to the people I loved.”

***

“One hundred and eighty-two tiny little lies, enough to tell me….I was a *** liar.”

I seriously didn’t think this series could get any better…yet, Hartley proves me wrong with each book! I am SO IN LOVE with this story! The entire thing. I know I gave nothing away but just believe me when I say, you don’t want me to. The surprises that await on every page are…are…ugh! Amazing! The story between Low, Ace, Tate, Logan, and even the twins is fully of….wow, I’m at a loss for words. That’s how good it was, I can’t even form a cohesive thought.

I can honestly say, I cannot wait to see what is in store for Angel in the next book, but I have all but forgotten about him in this one. I seriously love Tate. That man is the most sensitive alpha (is that even possible?) I have encountered and everything he does is swoon-worthy. Not to mention how hot he is to boot! I can only hope that there is more in store for this part of the story…Ace has captured my attention & once he changed the game, I was left hanging. Now, this isn’t a cliffhanger (thank goodness) but I have some serious questions! Please, give me more! Loved it!

I will start off by saying that if you haven't read the Bad Boys series yet you are seriously missing out! Finding Us was a brilliant addition to the series and I fell in love with all of the characters even more. This is book 3 in the series, focused on Tate and Low, and can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first two to have a better background of the secondary characters in this story.

We know from the beginning that Low is hiding something...something big, dark, and dangerous. I couldn't wait to find out what it was and man was I shocked when it all came out! Low has lied and deceived everyone around her. She has spent the last six years running from her past and never expected to find the amazing group of friends that she did when she settled in to this college town. She also didn't expect to fall in love. While it may sound like she is a bad person, she is really just a loyal and protective person, and told those lies to protect her loved ones. She is strong and fierce, and a total bad ass when she has to be. She doesn't take crap from anyone! But this is not the life she wants. She wants to be free from her past; be a normal girl in a normal relationship. And she needs to decide if she should follow her heart thats says go all in with Tate or follow her head which is telling her to back up and keep him safe.

Tate, ***sigh***. He is just so amazing! He is so sweet and loving, caring, and protective and then totally alpha when it counts the most. He sees through the mask that Low wears everyday and he wants her just the same. He made it clear that he wouldn't push her but that he was there when she was ready. He worships Low and does everything he can to make her realize just how much she means to him. And man does he prove it!

Finding Us is a captivating read full of suspense and secrets that will have you glued from start to finish. There was of course the WTF moments but nothing prepared me for the climax of the story. I actually messaged SK Hartley and said "Are you freaking kidding me right now, i can't believe this!!!" My heart was in my throat and I think i forgot to breathe. Yes, it was that crazy! And then it just kept going! A very well written, enjoyable book that I highly recommend. I loved that the whole gang was included in the story. The twins are absolutely hysterical as always, Neva and Logan are still very much in love, and Dex and Trix....well they are still up to their old ways. The banter between them makes me laugh! And Ace, man do I love him and I can only hope that we will hear more from him too. ;)

I gave Finding Us 5 stars and it was so well deserved. I am a huge SK Hartley fan and am anxiously waiting to see what she will come up with for her next book which is Angel's story....I have a feeling that it's going to be an emotional one!

What I Loved:This was a great story! It definitely had a lot of twists and turns and kept me guessing at times. I love that you know Low is hiding her past from her friends but you’re not quite sure what that past is or why she is hiding it. It’s cool to be let in on the secret but still not completely knowing everything. It makes the story more interesting and keeps the reader on their toes. Although I guessed pretty early on what some of those secrets were, there were couple things that did surprise me, and I love surprises!

I love Low and Tate together, he is so in love with her and that just makes me love him even more. They definitely went through a lot together and by the end of the book it shows how much they are truly meant to be together forever. I also love Low’s group of friends, it’s so great when authors not only write awesome main characters, they write awesome supporting characters as well. It helped me get more emotionally invested in the story because I got to enjoy other storylines going on around them. I would totally love to read a book involving the twins, Zane and Colt, or a book involving Dex and Trix.

Not So Much:This was a great story, awesome plot definitely well thought out and had lots of “Holy Shit” moments. But I felt like there were a lot of holes in the plot that kind of interrupted the flow. The book begins with Low in college, but I have no idea what year she’s in, is it the beginning of the semester or the middle? When she goes into detail about one of her classes it seems that the semester just began but it’s never really told. I really have no clue where this story takes place; I know its Spring Water College but where the hell is that? The foundation just wasn’t built well for me, maybe if I have read the other books in this series I would know but this is supposed to be a series where this book could be read as a standalone.

Also another thing that really bothered me was that, Low was supposed to be running from her past and hiding her identity so bad people couldn’t find her. So the hell did she move to a place for six years only a couple towns over from where she grew up? If people are after me, I would’ve run as far as physically possible and that would not be a couple of towns over. That was a major flaw in the story and made everything for me less believable.

Low has more than her fair share of secrets, it's why no matter what she has had to keep everyone at a distance for the last six years. It's why she can't give the last piece of herself to Tate. Now though the secrets are coming out and the life she ran from all those years ago is coming back to haunt her, coming to take her back where she never wanted to go. She's having to find the balance between being Willow and Low and it's time to decide if her new life is worth fighting for.

Low is strong and smart with a big heaping side of Snark, she's loud and proud and doesn't take crap from anyone. But she's also hiding so much more, she might be tough on the outside but inside she just wants to lead a happy life away from the pain of her past.

Tate can see through the crap, but he's not the type to push. He'll wait you out and once you open up he's always there for you. He's the big brother to the group and for Low he's her Knight, she just only now realizing it.

Their story took you on a journey you weren't expecting, leading you through a life you never knew Low has and I loved see all of her come out on the pages.

Low hid everything that she was from everyone she loved ,but one the one who was able to see her heart . Tate knew that he loved loved low the first time he saw her. The secrets that Tate finds out will blow everything she has tried to hide for the past six years. I can't wait for the next one in this series

Holy emotional intensity Batman! This book went places I wasn't expecting.. it totally rocked. Full of the emotional intensity that S.K. Hartley is known for, add in the guilt factor, the madness that brings past to present, love and caring, friendships, and seriously hot sex... I couldn't put the book down. I read it all in one sitting and I'll be doing a reread as I always do with really great books because you always miss something the first time through <3

Low and Tate are amazing characters who are obviously soulmates and when Low finally lowers her walls, they are combustible. The family feeling within this series makes it one of my favorites.

The first two books in this series were emotionally gripping, angsty and full of drama which I absolutely devoured. This book was the very same thing but the intensity, turmoil, and danger/action put this book at a 5 star read for me. Low and Tate are amazing characters who are obviously soulmates and when Low finally lowers her walls, they are combustible.

I highly recommend this book.

5 out of 5 stars for me.

At the beginning of the book I was unsure how I felt about it compared to the the first two in the series, however once you get past half way don't expect to be able to put it down. Despite the slow start it is most definitely worth it to read the second part where you understand so much more about Low. What I love about this is how it isn't just a sappy love story but so much more as well, definitely worth a read.

Low Parker, in S.K. Hartley’s Finding Us, epitomizes the idea that looks can be deceiving. On the outside, Low is a confident, outgoing young woman who is perfectly put together. But Low Parker isn’t real; she’s a façade created to conceal a past filled with scars and imperfections. For the past six years, Low has been running from a life she never wanted but couldn’t escape. Even after leaving her own personal hell, she knows it’s not over; no one walks away from the life she led, and it’s only a matter of time before it catches up with her. Low is playing a dangerous game of hide and seek, and unfortunately for her, she’s about to be found.

Run away or fight back? That’s the position that Low finds herself in after she’s told “they’re coming.” After all of the lies and the constant battle between her head and her heart, her past and her present are about to collide and the collateral damage that could be caused by it is something she’s unwilling to face. But what she doesn’t factor in is the fact that even though she hasn’t allowed herself to truly “feel” for the time she’s been on the run, Tate has, and he won’t let her fight this battle alone.

As Willow, she had no control of her life; everything that she witnessed and even participated in were forced upon her; as Low, she understands that choices have consequences and that despite a perfect mask, secrets and lies have a way of being revealed, so if she wants to take the control back, she needs to let herself feel every emotion and fight to protect her family – the one she chooses not the one that she was born into.

S.K. Hartley has created one hell of a roller coaster ride in Finding Us. S.K. builds the suspense by slowly revealing Low’s past and everything that she’s running from. By creating an alter ego for Willow, S.K. clearly illustrates the contrasts between her life six years ago and her life now. The life that was once dark, dangerous, and dramatic is now light and full of happiness and love, but until the past is dealt with, Low will always have one foot in both lives, and she will never be able to truly move forward, which is demonstrated amazingly well in the mask that Low chooses to wear.

Low is a kickass heroine who is so much stronger that she thinks she is. She has done what’s she needed to do to survive and now she’s doing what needs to be done to perhaps have a chance at a normal life. Low deserves a life filled with love; she deserves to feel, and she deserves Tate, and Tate deserves the girl who has stolen his heart.

Finding Us is the third book in the Bad Boys series, but it’s actually by first book by S.K. Hartley, and it’s phenomenal. Low is an extremely well developed character whose complex personality shines through as she tells her story. The supporting characters are an awesome group of friends who have already been through a lot with Logan and Neva, but they continue to stand by each other despite the complications. The complexity of the storyline is so well delivered that I never questioned what was happening; all pieces of the puzzle are put together by the end of the story, which is all a reader can ask for in a text.

Now that I’ve read Low’s story, I’m going to go back and see what happened with Logan and Neva, which I already know is going to be a crazy journey just by some of the information given in this book, and I’m going to love every minute of it.

ARC received for an honest review

To get the full impact of Finding Us, you should read the first two books in the series Finding You and Finding Me

I have been a fan of the Bad Boy series since I first read Finding You (#1), and have been impatiently waiting for Finding Us (#3) to get to Tate and Low's story.

Although the first two books were about Neva and Logan, we did get to know a little about Tate (Neva's sister) and Low (her best friend). But there was always something a little mysterious about Low, something I felt like she was hiding.

And in Finding Us, we delve right into Low's story. And boy was she hiding something!!

My heart broke for her/with her at times as she dealt with things she had tried so hard to keep in her past. As things are revealed there were a couple of WTF and WOW moments, things that I never would have guessed were what she was hiding.

I loved how Low was so self sacrificing when it came to protecting her friends. So much on her shoulders and she takes that burden all on her own.

Loved her group of friends. We know Logan and Neva, but this time we got more of Tate, Zane and Colt. OMG Colt had me in tears at times, too funny! And then there is Ace... so much more than meets the eye with him too

I felt that Finding Us was a lot darker than the first two in the series (though they also had a dark element to them). And I have to say, this was my favourite of the series so far.

Now, to see where Ms Hartley takes us on the next installment.

OK, OK. If I did not love Tate in the first two books I do now. That man is a saint. There is nothing that a person will do for the one that you love. This is Tate's and Low's story.

Low as we know is Neva's roommate and friend. She was a fire ball in the first two books, showing us her love and strength. Now we learn who this woman is. Her friendship with both Logan and Neva is strong, she is still dating Tate and we learn a whole lot more about their relationship, things are not always what they seem. Low had been keeping Tate at arms length for a very good reason. What that reason may be? That is for you to figure out when you read the book.

"I was speechless, completely speechless. Tate undoubtedly takes my breath away, stealing it like a thief, keeping it until I begged for it back."

Tate had the patience of a saint. He is Logan's best friend, had known Low for sometime now. They have been dating for a few months now, their connection growing stronger, their need to be with one another. Low has been trying to keeps things with Tate platonic but he is not as easy person to say no too.

"Tonight, Tate was going to take me: he was going to stake his claim on me. He was going to make me his without fear of thought. He was going to ruin me, and what scared me the most was... I wanted him to."

Well I know that I would not turn Tate down either. They had fun together, laughed and played and trusted one another. Could she trust him enough with her secret? Would he be safe if he or anyone found out who she really was? She had been hiding herself, her scars for so long and Tate was breaking the wall down that she built slowly a little bit at a time until she crashed.

But the deep dark secret that Low has kept for years was knocking on her door. The one person that knew who she was, helped her keep her secret, hid with her was going to be the one to go down with her. I can not go into detail about that, it will ruin the book, I can say however that I would run from it too. The people that were trying to pull her back in, get what they felt was there natural right. Yes, they were the dumb ones.

"I suggest you watch your fucking mouth, Nicolai. You have no idea who I am," I said leaning into him. "And that, is very fucking stupid."

I really liked this book. Enjoyed ALL the characters, new and old. I hope that a certain someone in this book will get there own book. He needs it. He was as important as Tate and Low and just to clarify there was no love triangle. You will know who it is when you read the book. He just needs his own story, one that will help me know that he is okay with the decision that he made and that he can find love in the new world that he went back too.

5 stars go to the author.

I completely love this series and I was so excited to read this book! I was even more excited when I found out that it was going to be Tate and Low's story! The two of these characters were secondary characters in the first two books, but this book was their book! I have to admit that this book is my least favourite of the series so far! There was just something about it that made me like it, but not love, love it! The plot had a mafia aspect to it and I didn't see this coming at all! The plot was all a bit bizarre to me because of this aspect lol! I did enjoy it, but I didn't expect the mafia aspect at all, so I was thrown off a bit! The plot had some suspense and action in it though and it developed really nicely! There was also a pretty big action scene at the end, which could ultimately have changed the outcome of the book completely! The characters were amazing! Low was the main character and she was in such a difficult situation in this book! She came from a tough background and she had to do some horrific things! Low was such an amazing character though and she only wanted to do good in her life because of what she had been made to do in her childhood! I really admired this about her because it showed what kind of person she was and that she was completely different from her father! I loved Low and I did feel sorry for her because of how she was brought up! She was raised to be a fighter, but in the wrong way! I loved how Low turned out though! Tate was the love interest of Low and he wasn't really in this book as much as I would have liked! I mean, it was mostly Low's story, but he did do something in this book that made me absolutely love him! It showed how much he loved Low and that he would literally give his life to save her! Tate was a hottie too and I loved how much he adored Low and I could see that he had some deep feelings for her! I would have loved this book to have been written more from both Low and Tate's point of views, because it was only really written from Low's! Most of the book was written from Low's point of view, but I loved the added Tate chapters from his point of view! I also loved that Neva and Logan from the first two books made appearances in this book too! I'm really excited to read the next book in this series! I can't wait to read this particular character's story, because he played such a big part in the first two books! The cover for this book is absolutely stunning! It also suits the book so well! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and I love how well it suits the other covers in the series! Big thank you to S.K. Hartley for an ARC of Finding Us and to Enticing Journey Book Promotions for having me on the Blog Tour!

S.K. Hartley did it again. She took control and gripped my heart, letting it go only when things would be ok. This was gripping and exciting and so full of an amazing love of Low. Finding Us is Low and Tate’s story, and what a story.

I loved Low in the first two books, she has a spunk about her that I could just never get enough of, but when it comes to her story, I wasn’t prepared for this. Dark secrets cloud Low’s life. The are what controls her thoughts, her habits, everything it seems, but her heart. She has a new life, she took a new start, there were things she couldn’t control and that is what scared her the most. She didn’t want to live in fear, she didn’t want to live in hiding. She wanted to live a normal life. And she was, but she was always waiting for the walls to close in around her.

Along with the scars from her past, she hid the fear well. No one knew the story, no one had seen any of the scars. Not the scars on the outside, certainly not the ones on the inside. But Tate was so in love with her, if anyone knew her, he did. But how could he? She has never been honest with him, with any of them. These are her friends. These are the people she wants to be with. She chose them. But lie after lie has caused Low so much internal turmoil. She knows they will never get to know the real her.

But then she gets word… it’s about to get real… and scary… and ugly and now she knows she has to say goodbye. That alone terrifies her more than any of it. How is she going to let Tate go? There is no way to say goodbye to the one that controls her soul.

S.K. Hartley takes us on an exciting journey through Low’s life. And by exciting, I don’t mean she was a rebellious little kid with some scary things in her life… I mean she was trained from a young age to live a life she didn’t want. It was a lot to take in and definitely pretty dark, but it was gripping and thrilling.

My absolute favorite part of this book was the tender scenes between Low and Tate. The love, the comfort and the strength was moving and heart-warming. But Tate is pretty amazing all by himself and the love he has for Low is everything. It is beautiful.

This book is a 5-star read for sure, but this entire series, is one of my favorites. I love this book and this series and the next book is already a must read on my TBR!

5 HOLY WHAT JUST HAPPENED STARS

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this story would go where it went , and damn did it go there !! This secret of Low's , WOW not even on my radar. Crazy good and extremely evil of SK ! I paper heart love her but paper heart hate her for the emotional rollercoaster I just got off of.

This is Low & Tate's story , but really this is Low's story-
Who is Low ?? Let me just say she is not at all what you think , I am BLOWN AWAY !! But she is not the only person in this story who BLOWS ME AWAY. Low has always been Neva's friend , great for a laugh , a great friend , funny , happy and I always loved the sexual tension between her and Tate. Immediately you start to realize her secret is major and she is definitely hiding from something or someone.

Low and Tate are finally together but as much as Tate tries to take that final step Low just wont allow it. She is constantly coming up with ways to push Tate away. When her past decides to come back and interfere she realizes she has made a mistake even getting as close as she has to Tate and the others. Low's life is in danger and as you read about her nightmares and memories you can start to piece together the reality of her past and find out who she really was. Tate can sense something is wrong and his determination to help her and be with her puts his life in danger as well.

This is where the story blows up and you know what hits the fan. Willow , with her one true alli , attempt to fix all their wrongs and figure out a way to settle their fate once and for all. This does not go as planned and in the mix this group of friends lives are rocked to the core with the truths and consequences of peoples actions. It is intense and emotional and crazy !! I was all over the place come 70% in and I almost didn't recover. But in the end with the truth out in the open and true friendship and love we see some healing. There is one person who I need more of , I was thrilled and shocked with their part in all of this and I need to find out where they go from there.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE you know who I want !!

4.5 stars

Finding Us is book #3 in the Bad Boy series; my reviews for book #1 Finding You & book #2 Finding Me are available on my blog.

The good bits...

• Low is deep, gritty and just a brilliant character.

• Tate is a steadfast tower of strength.

• Ace is just wonderful I need his book now.

And the not so good bits...

• I read this book far too quick.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series but Finding Us is on a completely different level!!

I loved this book it was completely unexpected!!! I honestly had no idea that anything that happened in this book was going to happen it was BRILLIANT!!!

Low aka Willow was deep and dark and mesmerizing it’s rare that I engage fully with a female lead but something about Low really resonated with me.

I knew there was something going on with Ace but I had no idea that it would be this!!! Please, Please, Please say that he is going to get his own book I literally am dying to know what happens next.

The flipping Mafia I mean I would never have guessed that was her secret in a million years!!

And Ace is in on it too, now we knew that his was a kick ass fighter but I LOVED the fact that both he and Low are trained killers WTF!!!

Tate is actually in the background for the majority of this book but he’s still a very powerful presence and the love and desire he feels for Low is palpable in everything he does.

S.K. Hartley has written so many twists and turns into this story that at any given moment literally anything could happen!!!

My heart broke for Low every time she put a paper heart into that Jar, and then when Tate gives her his heart I actually almost cried!!!

I love the way the author changes style when she’s writing Low to Willow and I love that Willow is actually a proper badass!!!!

This book was just a massive shock for me it kept me on the edge of my seat and completely enthralled.

I read this book in one go and simply couldn’t put it down it gets a brilliant 4.5 stars from me.

I rate Finding Us by S.K. Hartley FOUR AND ONE HALF LEAVES!

Oh my goodness...what can I say? I freaking love this series!!! At first, I was a little worried I wouldn't love Tate and Low's story as much as I adored Neva, Logan, and Angel's. I honestly was just happy, because I knew we would get some more Hottie Logan out of this series, but now I know that these characters can stand on their own and are perfect in their own way.

Low completely took me by surprise. In Finding You and Finding Me, she was the badass friend who cussed like a sailor and whipped Logan into shape when he acted like a jackass. In Finding Us, we learn that Low is rough around the edges for a reason, one that keeps her lying to her best friends and keeps her from feeling happiness.

In the first two books, we know Tate as the loving brother to Neva and loyal friend to Logan. In Finding Us, Tate becomes this uber-sweet, handsome, and thoughtful man. He adores Low, and loves every inch of her. One of my favorite scenes in the book was when Tate undressed Low and bathed her. He felt her scars, washed away her mask and loved her the best way he could. ***swoon***

S.K. Hartley is definitely on my list of favorite authors, because she doesn't just write love stories. She writes about strong females that overcome even when the odds are stacked against them. Her supporting characters are not there just for decoration. Their stories are weaved in with the main characters. Then she adds a sexy, romantic stud and every scene gets just a little more steamy ;-)

As a reviewer, it's difficult to come up with something new to say about a novel and an author. Especially when you can't give out the juicy details of the story without revealing the twists and surprises, but I will tell you that you will not be disappointed by this series. It is a MUST READ.

* ARC provided by the author for an honest review *

Finding Us is the third installment in The Bad Boys Series and this series has become one of my all time favorites! If you haven't read the first two, do yourselves a favor and read them first even though this can be read as a stand alone you will have an even better understanding and back story when starting Finding Us.

The characters were written with such depth and feeling that you felt like you were a part of their family and circle of friends. With exceptional writing, S.K. Hartley provided us with an outstanding series that I never want to end.

In this third installment of the series, the focus is on Tate and Low. All the other characters are also brought back in, in this novel and it provided an extra treat for us as the reader to see how they are doing as well.

Low is a spunky, strong willed, passionate and loyal friend who is hiding a secret and some emotional baggage. She desperately wants to keep her past hidden and not let it affect or touch her new found friends who she has come to love like family. But the past has a way of catching up with you when you least expect it and now that she has found love with Tate, Low is at a crosswords as to what she needs to do.

Tate is AMAZING. The perfect blend of alpha, sweet, caring and sexy! He is so in love with Low and let's her know in anyway that he can that he is there for her. Tate realizes that something is bothering Low and turns to reassure her that he will not run for the hills.

Read and find out how this couple weathers the storm and if their love is strong enough to survive Low's past.

Filled with nail biting suspense, humor, love, passion, angst, drama and friendship, this is a must read. With twists and turns, ups and downs you will be on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next.

I loved every single moment of this amazing novel and can't wait to read more from this amazing author.
