The journey into the Bestiary continues! In this issue, Christopher Taylor and Jason Shawn Alexander tell a tale of a blues singer who possesses a very unique guitar, while in the second part of "The Hunted," we learn just who hired the mercenaries tasked with stealing Pinhead's pins.
Still think this series was completely unnecessary. Dabbling into another author world is just doing fan fiction with permission and getting paid, instead of putting it on Wattpad for free. Hell, I think we can find better stories in fandom, then those whose author got paid to write them. First story was cool, kind of a Robert Johnson deal with the devil story, but not. There is a tiny twist. Second story is quite short, like a flash fiction. Maybe it would be more interested if the art was decent and if it was expended. The last story is continuation of previous story where band of mercenary has Pinhead as a prisoner and wants to take his pins.
This is the second instalment in the Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Bestiary series.
This volume contained two short stories as well as the continuation of a storyline featuring in the first volume. The three remained largely unconnected in plot although the same central character and themes were still present. I enjoyed this more then what came prior as I went into this already aware of the lack of continuity. To find some in the last story was a pleasant surprise though. I also did not anticipate just how gory this instalment would be. It even put the last one, which was gruesome enough, to shame!
Another 2 new short stories plus the continued story line, the first two were really short though I really don't like how the cenobites can kill people without having been summoned. It was bloody and brutal but lacking substances.
