One night changed Skylar Mackenzies life and when she left home to run away from the reason why, her cousin followed in her footsteps. She never planned to get involved with a man, she solely wanted to focus on her daughter but Cade Williams has set his eye on her and he intends to break down the shadows that hide behind the walls Skylar has encased herself with.
This was a bit angsty but I loved it anyway. Cade is alpha man with a bit of a temper and I couldn't get enough of him. Skylar is a bit of a mess but you get why and in some ways has not had to confront being in a relationship, often in her own head. Checking out more from this author.

Cade is a man that doesn't beat around the Bush, "I can’t stop thinking about you. I haven’t since you smashed into the back of my truck. You’re obviously beautiful, and all that effing sass turns me the hell on and makes me want to spank you." He has a big heart and is so caring, "not good, baby. You made me worry. I don’t like to worry. Did you make you two make it okay?" There are times Cade has no shame, "I see Cade reach down and adjust himself, completely unashamed." I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to Grace's.

LOVED IT!!!
This is one of the best books I have read and I did not want to put it down! There is so much I want to say about this book but I think you need to read it for yourself! Can't wait to read the next book!

Holy hell why oh why did I wait so long to read this book?? Stupid Krystal really really stupid!! From the opening line I KNEW it was going to be amazing!! But never did I think it was going to suck me in and spit me out leaving me a broken woman at some parts, and a greedy ho at others!!

Cade, oh Cade, I just wanna keep him! Cade is a fireman, and while he’s not actively looking for a woman, he sure finds her in the spitfire that is Sky! Only one huge surprise let’s him know she’s his ONE. His love is nearly instant, hers is not.
This book is so much more then a love story, it’s every girls dream. It’s real life. It’s heartache. It’s a fresh start and friends found!
It was just so much MORE then anything I expected! The main and secondary characters are so developed you feel like you know them, that they’re your family and friends.
I cried a lot in this book. So much hit home for me. It was a book I could relate to on a very deep level. I can’t begin to describe the totality of the amazingness that this book is!

AMAZING 5+ STARS!!!
This book holy crap. I freaking loved it. I was hooked from the first dang page and couldnt put it down. I had to know what was going to happen what she was hiding. Just everything.
Skyler is running from something traumatic and trying to keep the ones she loves safe. There is only one person she has ever told about what she went through and that is her cousin/best friend Grace. She doesnt trust easily and men are one of the main ones she stays away from Until Cade hits her with his truck.
Cade is looking for love after an event happened (I'm not giving anything away) it made him realize what his life was missing. he wanted love and a family. After hitting Skyler with his truck he swears he found it in her just by looking at her.
The chemistry is off the charts with these two. This book is more than a love story at least it was for me. You feel everything the characters are going through. You get to know the main characters as well as the secondary ones and you fall in love with them all.
Not sure why I waited so long to read this spectacular book but I'm so glad i did and so ready to read Grace and Ky's story. You get to know a little of what Grace is going through in this book and it makes you want the next one in the series just as much as this one!!!

ok so don't let other people's bad reviews put you off. I didn't and I can say I loved this book!! cade New from the very moment he met her she was his one. but it took sky a little longer, but you can't blame the girl with all she's been through and she's only trying to protect herself and the ones she loves.
cade is pretty alpha male but he's also pretty darn sweet at times.
I can say I really, really enjoyed reading this book.. and I'm looking forward to reading about Grace (sky's cousin and beat friend) specially with another hot alpha who doesn't take no for an answer lol

Really, really, recalled bad heroine.
This chick had multiple personalities. I couldn't keep up her switches dropped bitch to sweet in one second flat. Most respect for the hero for being so in love with her because she seriously needed a padded room, just forget the therapy. Plus the author needs to review her timeline. It doesn't take three years to have have a baby from the time of conception to nine months old, which is where the book begins. All in all, poor writing, and really poor characters. Did not feel a thing for them.

Sooooo it was one evening that i was searching for a good book in Goodreads and this one came up. I'm so so glad that i gave it a try cause I'm a sucker for happy ending books.
This is my first book from R.Ohara and i must tell you i want to read every single one that belongs to her.
One word??? Perfect!
I felt every word from this book...and let me tell you something....it's a gift for a person to deliver the feelings from simple words and this author is definitely gifted.
I will close this review with one advise. If you haven't read this one....do it now!!!

Omg this book rocked my world, it is filled with love, with Cade fighting for his future with a firery red head he has fallen hook line and sinker, Skylar has a dark secret that has built walls around her heart, but she really does love Cade can her love for him finally break those worlds down and finally let her be happy ! a Jilted Lover of Cades cause untold pain to Skylar wil she manage to spilt the couple up with her lies and and deciet ... this is an amazing story and is well worth a read !!

I really liked this story. I couldn't put it down. I liked it even more than the author's Love Untamed (which I also liked and the reason I read this one). Great H - very alpha, protective and loving, but sometimes says stupid things that get him into trouble with h. Okay h - very protective of Neveah, but lacks self confidence at times. Looking forward to next book in the series (Grace?).

Truly 4.5 stars. Excellent storyline and concept. However,this book needs to be seriously edited. The spelling errors and ragged punctuation caused me to go back over sentences because things didn't make sense until I figure out the wrong spelling or missed words. Get these fixed cause it's a great book!!

Liked it alot
I enjoyed reading this book...I love all the ups and downs. Cade is patient and loving and alpha male all wrapped up in one:) and Sky is a survivor that fights for what she wants even if it takes her a minute to realize what it is she should really fight for.

Not for me.....
I don't mind instant love except for when a child is involved
.I don't care if you just have a feeling about someone you do not have your kid meeting them a week into it. Also the H is the biggest jerk....the accusations at 83percent were UNFORGIVABLE.

When Cade first laid eyes on Skylar he new she was the one. Skylar was running from a dangerous man and trying to keep her baby safe then Cade walks into her life. Skylar thinks she has to much baggage but Cade shows time and time again he can handle it and that he loves her.

Love the insta love alphas
I love the insta love alpha males. This book had that, but there was also too many typos. I get easily distracted by them and hyper-focus on misspellings and other editing issues.
With that out of the way, I liked the story and character.
