Understanding Grace: Like The Bereans
Do we truly understand what God's grace is?
Many of us have heard that we are saved by grace, but do we grasp the depth of that truth? Do we know what grace actually does in us — not only at the moment of salvation, but every day of our lives?
In Understanding Grace, Mario A. Maldonado guides us through a deep, biblical study of divine grace — from its nature as an unmerited gift, through its transforming power in the believer's life, to its role in our perseverance and eternal security.
Across eighteen chapters, this book examines what Scripture truly teaches about
• What grace truly is and why we cannot earn it.
• How grace operates through every stage of biblical history.
• How grace transforms us day by day.
• Why grace gives us eternal security.
• Why we must never take it for granted.
Like The Bereans is a series dedicated to examining every doctrine in the light of Scripture — just as the believers in Berea did (Acts 17:11). This is the second volume.
Because grace is not just the beginning of our story with God — it is the whole story.
