I have read all three back to back so this a group review. I like the book, very fast paced. You don't really think of how much you are reading because i saw the page numbers and i went right through it. Another thing i liked was the fact that it showed the brothers mentality as well as the people surrounding them and why they turned out the way that they did. what i didn't like is mostly based on part three. One thing i did not like was the fact that the author he did not complete the sex scenes as well as not described the characters. You have make us think of what they look like, not leave it to the readers imagination. Another thing i did not like was the fact t that the crips was so damn dumb and gullible. I mean seriously. Last but not least, i did not like the ending. Well not the ending, ending, but what happened in the church. I was expecting more than that. .
I can't deny this novel had me so wrapped up I just couldn't stop eating, I loved the way it ended. Most definitely a page Turner and keeps you on the edge of your seat! Five stars to the author, keep em coming!!
This was my first series by this author and it was.......
Effin amazing!
Its literally so many things I want to say about this entire series that I find myself in a pickle. I don't want to be extremely long winded and write a full fledged dissertation on this series BUT at the same time I wanna make sure I give credit where credit is most certainly due.
I commend this author for doing two things that seem to be a lost art in Urban Fiction these days. 1) Not making us read through 900 short stories to get to the point that could be make in 3. As a reader I appreciate that so much. To me it says that the author is about his craft and on a mission to bring amazing stories to readers and not to squeeze every penny possible out of his readers to get the point.
I also appreciate his characters. They kept me invested in this story from beginning to end. It doesnt matter if you loved them, hate them, they made you wanna stick around for the body count at the very end.
To sum it up, this was an amazing good series with just the right balance of everything needed to grab me as a fan. I can't wait to see what is next from this author.
This was a interesting series and I really didn't know gangs do stuff like this in this book it's all new to me. This book was good I am waiting to see if it's going to be a book 4 Robert Cost just keep up the good work
