This is a story about someone who is trying to find their way in life and wants to share it with the world. It’s very easy to absorb because it's written in short, fragmented passages rather than long paragraphs. The reflection questions gave me a chance to process the ideas instead of just reading them. It can get a bit repetitive, but that’s kinda the point. Anytime she mentioned feeling it in your body, jaw clenching or breathing, I was able to release some tension. I really appreciated that.

It's Time to Love the Shit out of Yourself by Kat Harmon is a refreshingly honest and deeply compassionate guide for anyone seeking a more authentic relationship with themselves. Rather than offering unrealistic promises or a one-size-fits-all formula, Harmon invites readers on a powerful journey of self-discovery, emotional awareness, and genuine healing. Through heartfelt stories, practical reflections, and insightful guidance, she encourages readers to embrace every part of themselves, including the messy, imperfect moments that often hold the greatest opportunities for growth.

The book thoughtfully explores recurring emotional patterns, healthy boundaries, accountability, and the importance of self-compassion without relying on superficial positivity. Its conversational style makes difficult topics approachable while inspiring meaningful personal reflection.

Whether you're navigating burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or simply searching for a deeper sense of self-worth, this book offers wisdom that feels both relatable and empowering. It’s Time to Love the Shit out of Yourself is a memorable and uplifting read that reminds us true transformation begins with self-acceptance. Highly recommended for anyone ready to reconnect with themselves and embrace a more fulfilling, authentic life. It is undoubtedly a worthwhile addition to your personal growth library.

This book spoke directly to me!

Kat has an amazing ability to speak directly to you, for it to land and resonate. She’s able to take wider teachings and boil it down to be incredibly digestible and relatable. Her story is so similar to mine (and my guess is many others too!) and I find her teachings practical and easy to incorporate. Love love love this book and will definitely come back to it over and over again.
