This is terrible. Inconsistencies throughout, pointless leveling system, massively overused skill that is poorly defined solely to be used a a crutch, and somehow this turned a serial killer meant to be a hero into a boring character.

Started off fun, started getting a bit repetitive then just dragged. Once the term sociopath is coined, almost everyone uses it. Same with the fact he found a world stupid enough to praise him for what he was doing. The first couple of times it was ah, they get him. After that it was yeah, its been said already, multiple times. The start of the relationship with Belladonna was a bit creepy.
Essentially its a serial killer getting isekai'd into a soft kingdom that has to go through a senate before being allowed to kill orcs etc. From there its death, death and more death, Judge jury and executioner with a system that grades the variety of kills. I did like that he could summon anything. Would probably give the next one a go.

A thought experiment in LitRPG form
This is ultimately a difficult read. The author isn’t truly interested in building a complex system, an intricate world, challenging situations, or even moral quandaries for the MC. This is an idea written in a LitRPG. It forces you the reader to ask many difficult questions. Do the ends, justify the means? Can we be just and become judge, jury, and executioners if pointed at evil people? Does our justice system protect the criminal while failing the victim? Can a serial killer be useful in civilized society? Should capital punishment exist for those who traffic children? Oh, and can we use wood chippers for those public executions? Like I said, this isn’t a light read and the LitRPG this is written inside of is simply a means to an end. It’s using this medium to challenge your perspectives. Highly recommend if you liked the Heath Ledger Joker and if you are ready to have your preconceived notions challenged and be confused by how an evil person can sometimes be the hero we all need. (In the book of course)

beware spoilers
I love Kenny king books but this one felt a bit all over the place he was summoned to fight the demon king but the demon king doesn’t appear and after the initial talk about him at the start of the book it stops. Then it moves on to a cult that they destroy but then set out to make the north safe and hunt down the demon cult activity in other kingdoms but then they suddenly are which to hunting down slavers instead and then tearing down a kingdoms 3 main families and then just ends it just felt like it was to many ideas mashed together and the story got a bit
Lost. But it was a good book and I enjoyed it I just had a bit

DNF at 24%
While i liked Dexter Morgan as a character, i disliked this character as he not only likes to torture and break people but actively indoctrinates and excessively involves others in his deviant schemes.
The skills were super op and had too vague limitations, the leveling speed seemed insane and the plot progress very two dimensional as the antagonists always introduce themselves to the mc right away..
I found his first fight super contrived as he never even trained fighting before showing off against 18 armed foes at once..

Another book
This book had huge potential but the writer could not pull it together, almost every sentence was repeatedly mentioning how different he was from other people. Then the romance with the princess began before even the story got going. I am not a fan of this writer tried to read many of his books but as always was disappointed in them

Repetitive
I wish the book wouldn’t ended with the cultists. I enjoyed the beginning and the end of the book. It just got feeling so monotonous and boring in the middle. As well sometimes the characters verbiage didn’t make sense for the time period. Lord Harlequin and Belladonna speech got annoying as well.

slightly horrifying
I’m not sure I liked this or abhorred it. As a person who believes in the rule of law but understands that it can be perverted this book is a homage to violence. Creepy at times without some of the character development I would have liked. It became mechanical in not a good way.

Super repetitive. Feels like someone gave AI an idea of make a litrpg with a protagonist who murders for fun and detail each and every way he kills people. Oh and while you’re at it, add a princess who he turns to be just as depraved at him. Gurl, no! I read anything I buy but I will be damned not to say that this was a waste of time and brain power.

RPG elements are just there for an excuse for hand-waving stuff into existence, minimally useful abundance of violence, and a bunch of completely tedious and pointless torture that even the MC got bored of was the last straw. Maybe it gets better but it already lost my interest.

feels artificially generated
I couldn’t get past 30%, it can’t keep the story straight, assigns modern philosophy to a medieval society, not actually a litrpg, and while it was a fascinating idea, it was implemented horribly. The characters are very one dimensional and easily warped for the story, there is so much negative that I can’t even point it all out

What an interesting book
A unique take on the summoned hero. Quite good actually. A fair amount of debate on the rule of law versus actual justice.

omg mc just won't shut the f up. he keeps ranting. author added fluff instead of fighting a page of fighting and a chapter of bs talk absolutely boring.
