One Night Between Friends

Rate this book
For twenty-five years, Annie Bloom and Nate Sadler have been everything to each other—best friends, confidants, constants. There’s just one line they’ve never crossed.

They were never supposed to fall in love.

As a viral proposal planner, Annie knows exactly how to create unforgettable love stories. But when Nate asks for her help planning the perfect proposal to his girlfriend, Annie is forced to confront a truth she’s spent years avoiding: being “just friends” with him is no longer enough.

Then the proposal goes spectacularly wrong.

Now Nate’s heartbreak is public, Annie’s business is on the line, and the carefully constructed boundaries between them begin to unravel. Because after one drunken night changes everything, pretending nothing happened is no longer an option.

But falling for your best friend isn’t just risky—it’s dangerous.

And this time, Annie might lose more than her heart.

She might lose the one person she’s never been able to live without.

I am so excited to have had the chance to read this before it came out!!! I love everything about this book!!! One of my favorite things in the book was the banter not only between the 2 main characters but with their friends as well! I could not put it down I finished it in 2 days! And now I just want more books from this friend group!!!

✨ BETA READ ✨

I was lucky enough to beta read this and I’m so excited it’s finally on Goodreads because you’re going to want this on your TBR.

The tension between these two?? Immediate. You can feel how much history is between them from the start, and it’s the kind where you just know neither of them is being honest with themselves. 👀

This is very much one of those “we’re fine, everything is fine” situations where absolutely nothing is fine.

Once things start to shift, it gets messy in the way best friends to lovers is supposed to be. I was stressed the whole time, but also completely obsessed with them 😩

And the friend group?? I loved them. They added so much to the story and just made everything feel even more real.

It doesn’t feel easy or clean, it feels complicated, emotional, and very “this could go very wrong at any second.”

If you love pining, tension, and that “we’re about to ruin everything” energy… definitely add this to your TBR.

I’m already counting down to September 1st because I need the final version.

I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. The author does an incredible job of immediately pulling readers into Annie and Nate’s world, making you feel like you’re part of their friend group from the very first chapter. Their witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and slow-building sexual tension had me completely invested in their story and constantly wanting more. I couldn’t put it down, and I already can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series!

So cute!

Such a cute read. The author's sister is a friend of mine and she recommended the book to me. Likeable characters, laugh out loud moments, but a little more spicy than I'm used to. But a very enjoyable read!
