On a long haul flight to Jamaica, the passengers in first class are dropping like flies and no one knows if the killer is onboard or if they set the ball into motion well before they boarded.

I loved this exciting murder mystery, set on the plane ride from hell. I enjoyed the setting on the plane and the murders were really creative. It was fun getting some chapters from the killer’s pov before they were revealed. The atmosphere was tense, filled with grief, confusion, betrayal and suspicion. It definitely kept me guessing throughout and threw in some great twists and turns. There was one scene in particular that actually had me on the edge of my seat with little Theo, the panic, guilt and anger were written so perfectly. I loved how it played out and that causal sneaky admission at the end was brilliant.

As soon as I picked this book up, I didn’t want to put it back down. It’s well written, easy to read and sucks you in so you feel like you’re onboard that plane too.

Overall, this was 4.5⭐️ for me (rounded up to 5 on Amazon & Goodreads). I can’t wait to read more of Heather’s books.

I love a good psycholgical/domestic thriller and a locked-room mystery. While this one isn't technically a locked room mystery, it's very close and has the eerie charm of one - with all the characters trapped in a single location until the end of the tail. Such a setting always adds a sense of urgency and added layer of suspense and terror that other settings have to work harder for.

Thrillers especially lend themselves toward reading as fast as possible because you desperately want to get to the answer - as this one definitely did. If a thriller doesn't give you that edge of your seat feeling where you can hardly put it down, it's not a good one in my opinion. But this one kept me up past bedtime more than once. Well I think exactly twice because it only took me two days to read it!

The twists and turns in this were phenomenal! I didn't expect any of them, which is uncommon for me. I did pick up one or two a few pages before they were revealed, but the author kept her cards close to her chest. Or I need to read it again to find the clues I missed!

If you enjoy high-stakes psychological thrillers in the format of locked door mysteries you will love this! It is set on an airplane and involves the loss of family members and loved ones, so if that is a trigger point for you please be advised.
