so wait Fawn still dead?
It’s hard to really root for folks because most of these folks was fowl. Michele the proverbial sidechick having two babies by two married men brother in laws no less. So Machele and Dom killed their baby daddy? Stupid is as stupid does and everyone must had smoke weed while pregnant. Miami, Orlando, Milani, Kori and even Aniah thought they were playing a game and just ended up played. Roman, I have no respect you thought10 steps ahead. Preserved your life but not your wife. She knew about your side baby and you told Machele you was leaving Fawn when your daughter turned 18. He let his princess witness this and he gets to live out his days with his side piece? I still wait to know what Aniah and Torrence took out of the nursery, so loose ends Torrence was just as involved as his mother Martha. He still breathing. I didn’t make rules and I still don’t trust Lennox, that mess was grimy. Sapphire had a lot of growing up in a short time. I respect the fact Lennox made sure she could legally consent to everything. I cannot fall in love with every book Shantelly writes but I respect her grind and her process. I might not always get but I understand. I love that she make’s heroine strong in her books so I love that fact but she took my girl thru it and she came out Royale from it. The fact I have so much to say and feel the things I do means Shantelly got what she expected from her reader, a reaction. Note, I am also cranky because I could not put these books down and pulled an all nighter.

Glad I finished
This book was the best in the series. The Milan plot was the only miss of the book because there was no hints of mental issues before this book. I love this authors ideas and o see the vision but execution needs a bit of work especially world building, foreshadowing, and Easter eggs/ clues so once the twist happens it’s like OMG everything is adding up. Not some random twist. Like before they let to get the baby from Jamaica they left Milan in the trunk. How she home pregnant and having a mental break down next ?? The biggest twist was a good one and was hinted at earlier so it made sense loved that. Again the statement of bearings etc idk if that was a thing why would she go so hard to avenge her parents and be so sad w/o them ?

inconsistent
I really loved the first two books! This last one seemed rushed. We left off with Milan in the trunk of her car in book 2. This book didn’t even mention that part. The ending pissed me off lol. It just really needed more. 18 year old getting married nope 🤦🏾♀️. Also, more was needed for her mom. What’s her background?

Soooo we just glossing over the fact, that to weed out his enemies, this man faked his death but REALLY HAD HIS WIFE KILLED!? And the daughter not going to question why her mama had to die and her daddy just going to live his best life with his side chick/baby mama now?

Love it
This was a great storyline. Everyone who needed to be dealt with got what they deserved. Would have loved to see what happened between Machele and the father. Lennox is truly an Alpha male stood 10 toes down for his woman and wouldn’t let up on her… Truly enjoyed the series.

Now this series was on from the start and I loved all the action and intrigue. I also loved how the author of an urban fiction story didn’t have to use sex scenes to move the story along…and yes I read the whole series in one day.

I loved this series. There was so much drama back to back that I couldn't stop reading. Spoiler alert: Dominique got exactly what she deserved, same as everyone else. Milan was crazy for real and I would have liked to know why Fawn had to die

HAD ME ALL THE WAY TILL THE END
