This is a fun, sweet, and fast-paced novella with insta-lust that turns into deep love. The story is told in five sexual fantasies, ending in a happily-ever-after for Pack Star, MMFFFFF.
Pack Star is a pack of five gorgeous, unapologetic beta women who survived the dark underbelly of Salt Port by relying on each other. Now, they want an omega to center their unbonded pack.
Monroe is a male omega who fantasizes about being with beta women. Too bad he’s too shy to meet them. His alpha handler, Sepp, wants to give him everything his heart desires, and fueled by his own secret desire for the omega, sees the perfect opportunity.
When Sepp orchestrates a meeting between his sweet omega and Pack Star at during their shift at the night club, the chemistry is instant, explosive, and undeniable.
In a world ruled by biology, beta women can’t form a bonded pack without an alpha’s bite, so will Sepp be the well-behaved alpha they need to make it official?
Pack Star was first introduced in Mads Vol. 2 A Cash City Omegaverse Story by Shasta de Leon
After finishing Mads, I was left wondering about pack star, did they finally find their own omega after having their hearts broken by Aurora?! Did they all continue working at the club after legs got turned into a tiger snack?! Did they finally get their happy ending?!?
So when I saw that this book was coming out I was SO excited and knew I had to read it as soon as possible to answer all of my burning questions!!! I am so happy that I was able to get an arc of this amazing book!!!
This book was such a cute little quick read!!! The chemistry and banter between all of the characters was so cute, and I loved seeing the pre-existing dynamics between the beta girls of pack star. I can’t wait to see the other stories and characters Shasta will add to the Cash city omegaverse!!! 😁💕
♡ Why Choose (MMFFFFF) ♡ Omegaverse ♡ Sweet and fast-paced novella ♡ Shy male omega ♡ Gentle giant alpha ♡ Beta female pack ♡ Sex-positive romance ♡ BDSM lite ♡ Strip clubs / strippers ♡ Polyamorous found family ♡ Diversity ♡ 130 pages
Colour me surprised. I didn’t expect to enjoy this so much
This was SUUUPER fast paced obviously. 5 beta women, 1 male omega & 1 male alpha. That was a new dynamic for me. We didn’t get EVERYONE’s POV thankfully so it was super easy to read and not overwhelming.
.. do not read in public 😂 or at work 🤣 Or if you want to risk it go right ahead.
I would actually read a full novel version of this… the small bits I got with everybody’s personality makes me think I would love it.
Set in a dance club where five Beta women have formed their own pack, the story follows their search for an Omega and the unexpected connection they find with an Alpha and an Omega. The chemistry is INSTANT, the spice delivers, and beneath the heat is a story full of heart, found family, and characters with real depth. A FANTASTIC introduction to this world, and definitely not my last read from this author. ARC provided all thoughts and opinions are my very own!
This book was a slick and fast delight. We have a lovable omega, a honourable alpha and all the amazing girls in pack Star. I was glad they finally got their HEA!
First I want to thank BookSirens for a free copy of this ebook. My review is voluntary.
I went a little out of my comfort zone and read this erotica novella. It was well written and the author knows how to write steamy scenes. This is a book about the Omega verse. I had no idea what that was and had to google it. There is a lot of sex going on from the first to the last page.
It probably was a little too much sex on the pages for me but definitely a perfect book for smut, erotic, and paranormal fans.
Thank you Shasta and BookSirens for the ARC of Pack Star
It was unlike anything I’ve read recently, so thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect spicy little palette cleanser. The fact they find love and a bond after Legs gets eaten by a tiger makes me happy (tbh he deserved to be eaten by the tiger 🤣)
I haven’t read any of the other Omegaverse books but I don’t think it’s necessary as things are explained as the book progresses. Monroe is just adorable and needy for his pack and Sepp 🥵🥵😮💨 that Alpha sounds out of this world. A good little spicy Novella, would recommend to anyone who likes this kind of thing.
⭐ Star Rating: 3/5 This book was HOT. Like genuinely hot. But because it’s such a short read, I wished some moments had a little more depth and buildup.
📚 Reading Format & Length I read this as an ebook and received an advance review copy for free. I’m leaving this review voluntarily. At only 130 pages, it’s definitely a fast and very spicy read.
📝 Review Pack Star is the kind of book you pick up when you want something quick, sexy, and completely unapologetic about it. The vibe is intense from the start and honestly, the heat level just keeps climbing. This is not a slow, emotional deep dive. It’s more about chemistry, attraction, tension, and those “okay wow” moments that make you keep turning the pages. The atmosphere feels playful but also wild in a way that keeps things entertaining the entire time. Because it’s short, everything moves fast, including the relationships and the tension, but if you’re in the mood for a spicy binge that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this absolutely delivers. Basically: hot, hotter, hottest. A sexy little chaos read you can finish in one sitting.
why yes Monroe, i also think women are beautiful and are terrified to talk to them 🥺🫣🥵
𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓 is a fast burn omegaverse novella you could read on your lunch break, but would recommend to wait until you get home to be a little more satisfying 😏
for such a short read, you still get to see how Pack Star takes care of each other and incorporates Monroe and Sepp into their care. and how Sepp, even tho an alpha, wants to care for each member of his pack.
i didn’t read 𝑴𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝑽𝒐𝒍. 2 where the girls were all introduced, and i didn’t feel like i was missing anything. this is told from the POVs of Sauvignon, Monroe, and Sepp, which i think worked to not get complicated since this was a shorter read. i would love a full novel about Pack Star bc they are all so hot 🥵, but if we never get, this was still enjoyable and satisfying,
✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ ✦ MMFFFFF, AOBBBBB, 1st person multi-POV established beta pack, stripper fmcs, bonding/bite marks, fast burn, 💦 in pants, toys, mentions of free use, dom/sub dynamics, HEA, epilogue, interconnected standalone
“He looks like a warrior. I wonder if he needs a queen?” This is a HEA emphasis on the HE (happy e.ndings). I ADORED getting a resolution for the Pack Star girls and really really enjoyed the two men added to the mix. This was a hot, sexy, sweaty, celebration of love and pleasure!
What’s Inside ❤️ Novella ❤️ Omegaverse ❤️ Everyone is together (MMFFFFF) ❤️ Midnight ballerina beta pack looking for their omega ❤️ Unclogging emotions ❤️ Sweet & Fast-Paced ❤️ Hot, Horny, & Cozy!
I loved the introduction of Sepp & Monroe SO MUCH! It is so satisfying seeing personalities just fit together so well and the characters finding peace in that. They were such a great fit for Pack Star and I loved their dynamic also.
I think this is a great complement to the rest of the Cash City series. It brings a bit more of a light-hearted tone to contrast some of the grittier books in the series.
Pack Star is a spinoff of Mads by Shasta de Leon. It is not absolutely necessary to read Mads before Pack Star, but I personally would start there. There will be small spoilers for Mads if you start here and work backwards.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
While reading the first chapter of this book, I knew I was in for a ride when I read: "Ever since Legs O'Bannon, our pimp, got eaten by that tiger, I just can't get myself back on that stage."
Pack Stars did not disappoint!
It's an omegaverse story about Monroe, a male unbonded omega, and his unbonded alpha handler, Sepp. (A handler helps take care of an omega until the omega is bonded.) Sepp goes out to get a few items from a sex shop and meets Sauvignon, a beta with a pack of her own. The story follows the beta pack, Sepp, and Monroe as their lives tangle together.
I laughed. I awwwed at the end. The spicy scenes were spicy though some felt rushed but I chalk it up to the fact that it's a novella.
This book is definitely for readers who enjoy omegaverse with instalust and a guaranteed HEA. I love the found family trope, and the way pack Stars bonded with and took care of each other was very heartwarming amidst the very heated sex scenes.
You want a little warmth with your smut? This one's for you!

A five woman pack of beta strippers/dancers happy with each other but open to adding a omega and a well behaved alpha to their pack sign me TF up.
I loved this. So much fun. Keep in mind this is 130ish pages with 7 main characters so its not an in depth dive into the characters or plot. The plot being we are hot you are hot and nice so lets all be hot and nice together!
This was fun, bright and moved fast. I would have loved some more with all the differing relationships and how they worked but that's what I always want in omegaverse. More pack dynamics!
Sepp was just the most well behaved alpha ever. Monroe was the neediest subby omega they could ever want. Add them to the Star pack it was a pack made in heaven or hell depending on which woman is holding the reins.
The way I gobbled this story up! I received an advanced copy and am leaving my review voluntarily. I liked Pack Star when the girls made their appearances in Mads but this novella made me fall in love. My only complaint- it was a novella!!! The pack dynamics really drew me in on this one- 5 beta women who are all with each other and have their own unique dynamic plus a soft, sweet alpha handler and his male omega charge (who he is in love with but won’t admit it). I wanted more, I was not ready to let this pack go. I’m always amazed when a novella had great plot, fascinating characters plus good spice. And the spice was spicy!!! This was a great read and although connects to the same world as Ondine and Mads, it can be read as a stand alone.
Thanks to the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Pack Star was a really addictive paranormal romance that pulled me in way faster than I expected. It’s got that wild, intense pack energy, emotional tension, and chemistry that just keeps building as the story goes on.
I really liked the pack dynamics in this one — the loyalty, the hierarchy, and all the unspoken rules made every interaction feel charged. The romance had that instinctive pull to it, like the characters couldn’t really escape each other even when things got complicated.
There’s also a decent emotional layer running through the story around belonging and identity, which I wasn’t expecting to hit as much as it did. It gave the romance a bit more weight and made the characters feel more grounded.
A very immersive and exciting read! I love how hard Sepp, who's known for his patience, fell in love at first sight with Sauvignon. Monroe who's shy with Beta women, is brought along with Sepp to meet Sauvignon and all of Pack Star. I rarely read about a large, intimidating but calm Alpha who is aware that he's scary and willing to make himself appear smaller. Pack Star are full of Beta women who each have their own personalities and quirks that both Sepp and Monroe accept lovingly. I really like the relationship dynamics between everyone and how unique each and every one of them are. Definitely reccomend for a sweet and a bit of a whirlwind Omegaverse romance.
Thank you to BookSirens and Shasta de Leon for the ARC and I voluntarily give my review.
Okay Shasta. Girl I was sold when I saw the cover. Life after Legs looks good on the girls. I’m happy they get to see what life was supposed to be like. Monroe sounds dreamy and Sepp sounds like a giant teddy bear. I need visuals of the guys. The story flows and I love how open these ladies are. Sauv is actually thriving. Please write a follow up. Your take on the Omega verse is awesome. I’m planning to reread the entire universe you’ve created. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. This was a quick read for me. Finished in a few hours because I couldn’t put it down. Enjoy the fantasy.
Oh, Honey. The most perfect novella. Pack Star was a big hit in Mads Vol. 2. (Go read the previous Cash City books if you haven’t!) I’m so glad they found their omega, and the most well behaved of alphas.
This is obviously insta lust/love. And that’s OK! Not everything has to be tension filled. Also, the girls deserve men worshiping them.
I loved that each member of Pack Star was able to have their own turn with the guys. And, that they all were able to show off their talents in the scenes. It was a lovingly respectful story of exotic dancing. They weren’t ridiculed, or even told to stop, from the guys. Their art was respected. Good shit.
2.5 Stars A short read filled with spice and a unique concept of a Pack of Beta Women (more Beta Women rep please), but I felt it would have been better as a novel. For me personally, the relationships needed more time to develop, and I found the pacing felt rushed and the writing a bit too straightforward and not descriptive or tension-building enough.
Pros: -A lot of spice for anyone who enjoys erotic lit! -Unique Pack Dynamics -Sapphic Love & MM Love
Cons: -Too short for any deeper development - Insta-Love/Lust - Writing felt a little simplistic
Thank you to BookSirens & Shasta De Leon for the ARC Copy
Talk about Hot Hot Hot! Perfect quick read of a steamy, blush-inducing omegaverse. The characters were perfectly described and they all seemed so loveable. Top that with being just the sexiest and sassiest beings to roam the earth, and you have a perfect pack.
I could not put this down. Everyone has their cute quirks as well as a metric ton of spicy deviance. Hot and bothered on every page. I highly recommend to those who need a HEA, smut filled, dark corners, found-family, spicy, fast paced story.

So I love Shasta De Leon's work, seemingly always haha. I was so excited for this book after meeting the Stars in Mads duet, and I am so happy that (as always) Shasta delivered! I adored this book & everyone's dynamics. I also love seeing more FF in the world of OV, because it is a rare sight. I also just really love Sepp, he's such a teddy bear haha. The only thing I wish were different is the length. I really wish they had gotten a full length novel so we could've explored everybody & their backgrounds more. All in all, amazing!
You want quick, chaotic and dirty? Read Pack Star! It’s a little ridiculous and a whole lot of fun!
Be warned: it is a NOVELLA! If you want something you can read in one sitting that is slightly unconventional OV (pack of beta women!) and the omega-ist of male omegas, this is for you. If you prefer more in depth character and world building… check out Ondine and Mads by Shasta as well.
I chuckled. I gasped. I kicked my feet. I wasn’t sure how some of the positions worked but hey, that’s why it’s fiction, right?!
Turn your brain off and enjoy a whole lot of spice!
I already knew Pack Star from Mads' books. It was so wonderful to reconnect with Sauvignon, Carmen, Honey, Tara, and Lucy. Then you meet Alpha Sepp and sweet Omega Monroe. Since I already loved Pack Star, I was ecstatic to finally see them get their omega, and an alpha they weren't even looking for. The way the seven of them fit together is just so beautiful, and the fact that Sepp helped Sauvignon to start the healing process from her past trauma. It was such a beautiful story.

I really needed a novella like this one. I've been looking for something simple and fun, something to satisfy my sweet tendencies when life gets to be too stressful. Although I would have liked to have a lot more time with Pack Star as a whole, I really loved the idea of a male Omega with an all female pack. I liked the dynamics between the pack and our alpha/omega pair and I'm looking forward to reading this author again!

that is how I would describe this book. It was 100% a full smut novella with a very very tiny plot of maybe like 7 percent lol. I have a few things I wanted to mention but the main two is OMG the like 7 names you have to remember is wild. Like I was lowkey kind of struggling. Then the other thing was with Monroe and Shep - I had two points… I wish they would have gotten together before going with the ladies and two, when Monroe was pissed at Shep for not realizing he wanted him back in the nest - I FELT THAT.
I was so excited to get this packs story. It is different than most omegaverse packs since it is all betas but you learn a bit about the pack in the earlier cash city books. You don’t have to read them in order to read and understand this one but I highly recommend doing so since they are amazing reads. The only thing that would make this better is it being a bit longer and the having the backstories in the book. The author does offer the backstories with her newsletter so you can read about them if you sign up.
A quick, fast-paced read that completely surprised me! I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, especially since it’s my first time reading this kind of novella. But I ended up really liking it. The characters pulled me in, the spice added a nice touch, and my only complaint is that I wanted more by the end. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try!

This book was everything I was expecting it to be. A cute, short, sweet (hot), omegaverse novella with instalust. Amazing. The characters are dynamic and mesh well together. While a part of a larger universe, I don’t think it’s necessary to read those first. The author does a great job of filling you in about what happened before. This was different then what I usually read. Usually it's an Omega with alphas and beta's but this one was focused around a pack of Beta's. I really enjoyed it. I wish that it was a little longer but it didn't take away from the good read. Pack Star are all strong women who love each other for who they are. They all protect each other. The Alpha and Omega that come into Pack Star complete each other. All 7 are pieces of a puzzle that fit perfectly together.
