Welcome to Seduction in Red, White, and Blue. A sultry singles retreat for the grown and unapologetically sexy on the shores of Bimini.
For Blaize Raymond and Icelyn Perry, the attraction is immediate… and dangerously familiar.
Once, theirs was a May–December flame — she, the seasoned storm, he, the younger spark. What started as heat turned into something neither was ready to claim.
Now the years have shifted the balance. He’s grown. Grounded. Intentional. And the chemistry between them? Still electric.
Under fireworks and moonlit skies, Fire and Ice collide again. Not reckless but refined. Not fleeting, but inevitable.
Hey Loves! I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri (in the words of Nelly, “I’m from the Lou and I’m proud!) with incredible parents and two amazing older sisters. Born Stacey Renee, I was the baby of the bunch and always had a vivid imagination – was wise beyond my years (to grown for my own good) if you ask my mother!
My love for talking too much (ha!), journaling, daydreaming, reading & watching various genres of movies, books I went to journalism school, determined to become Oprah! After finishing my degree, I did everything but becoming a journalist. I dishonored my childhood dreams of being in some form of entertainment but found a way to use this big mouth for good in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space.
I rekindled my love for reading and writing during the 2020 pandemic where my alter ego & pen name, Robbi Renee was born. Robbi is my daddy’s nickname so my pen name pays homage to him. (Yep! I’m still a daddy’s girl!) Renee, as you can see is my middle name – Robbi Renee!
I started Love Notes by Robbi Renee as an outline to release all of the stories that live in my head. I was challenged to write and publish my first novella, French Kiss Christmas, published December 2020.
Robbi Renee draws upon personal experiences with life and love. My written works are inspired by my adoration for Black love, and stories of romance, heartache, trauma, intuition, and redemption.
Stacey/Robbi Renee enjoys her own Black family love story with her husband George and teenage son.
Blaize can torch my heart anytime it is convenient. That man can give lessons on how to treat your lady. You all, Icelyn, was blessed as his recipients of his generosity. This drama free story was just what I needed today. 4.75 stars...
Fire & Ice by Robbi Renee was giving grown, fine, emotionally mature BLACK love with a whole lotta heat sprinkled on top. Cause babyyyyy these two had chemistry from the jump.
Blaize and Icelyn felt effortless together and that’s what made this hit for me. The tension, the history, the little moments… you could tell this wasn’t just attraction. These two genuinely had a connection that never really left them alone.
Now listen… the older woman/younger man trope can either EAT or feel forced and awkward. Thankfully this one ATE. Icelyn was confident, grown, successful, and Blaize??? Whew. Sir knew exactly what he wanted and applied pressure accordingly.
The spice? Oh it was SPICING. Robbi Renee never misses when it comes to sensual tension and scenes that actually feel passionate versus just thrown in for shock value. You could feel the longing, the comfort, the emotional intimacy AND the lust.
I also appreciated that this story still had emotional depth underneath all the fine people activities lol. It touched on timing, vulnerability, healing, and allowing yourself to be fully seen by somebody.
This book had me in a trans state. I enjoyed the story of Blaize and Icelyn on an intimate level. See sometimes people come into your life too soon, during that time you enjoy each other and the feelings grow. Life has other plans and although you feel they are your forever you have to part. Their presence stay with you heavy until it start to be buried by life.... Fast forward and those paths cross again. You are more mature. The feelings are there as if they never left. Chemistry lights the sky like a fireworks show. Then there is another goodbye.
Yeah, fate is not done yet. Blaize to enter in another important time to save the day. My boy not giving up easy because why would he. Better yet, let him talk you through the healing. Icelyn, let that man be who he is meant to be.... yours.
Grown folks energy. Age be damned. He owe you his career and is ready to repay in pleasure of the mind, body, and soul.
April Read: Fire & Ice by Robbi Renee | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book is about Blaize and Icelyn’s story. It taps into that feeling of meeting the right person at the wrong time. You build something real, feelings deepen, but life pulls you in different directions. Even after you part, their presence lingers—quietly buried under time, but never gone. When their paths cross again, everything resurfaces. They’re older, more grounded, but the chemistry? Still intense. Still undeniable. Now the balance has shifted. Blaize has grown into himself, and that maturity makes their connection hit differently this time around. The tension, the familiarity, the pull between them—it all feels natural and earned. And just when you settle into it, there’s another goodbye that keeps things from being too easy. Overall, a strong, emotional second-chance romance with real weight behind the connection.
I swear everything Ms.Renee writes is a beautiful masterpiece. This storyline was unique & captivating. I’m a sucker for second chance romances so this was right up my alley. Blaize & Icelyn are the perfect example of right person wrong time. I love that both mc’s are in their 40’s & starting over in life. That’s not something you see too much in romance books. Robbi writes these characters so that it’s like you can feel their connection. You can feel the yearning they have for one another. You can feel them falling in love. The spice was spicing. 🔥 I literally read this in a matter of hours because I could not put it down.
Soo… i DNF, but I promise I’ll come back to it. I’ve been in the mood for more drama and this is very intimate and drama free. My only nitpick is how do they have allll these perfect and special memories of each other and were clearly in love, but they couldn’t remember each other’s faces from 12 years ago?? They spent so much time together, learning each other but a hair cut made you forget who you were staring at and walking along the beach with? It should have clicked once their eyes met from across the room. Not hours later. Weird.
A tropical singles retreat brings together two former lovers Blaize and Icelyn. Icelyn being 8 years older than Blaize initially pushes him away when he feels he’s not ready for the life she’s living. But now years later, Blaize is stable, a full time father and truly ready for Icelyn. The vacation rekindles something in them and this time around it’s Icelyn running from what could be. This is a sensual story about second chances in love and right person, right time
This was such a good grown and sexy read. I loved Blaize. That man was all about his Madame Ice. I enjoyed their chemistry. You could feel their connection off page. It had me filled with angst in anticipation of seeing how things would play out between them back in the real world.
Loved the family dynamics. That event was everything. Fire was all that Ice needed. His love for his daughter was rewarding. He had to be because baby moma was ...different. I enjoyed this✨️✨️The bestie is just right. But I did think she was pregnant.lol. Nurse Raymond come through✨️✨️🔥🔥
She did again!!! Robbi Renee has topped her best again with another page turner! You will not be able to put this book down!!! I love the fire and ice concept! A must read!! Hot and heavy!
I completely understood why they went their separate ways before but there was no good enough reason for Icelynn not to get her HEA. She played with that man all the way up until the very end and he let her lol.
