Why is it that when things finally go right, the universe sends you a great big Hex You?
My not-quite-technically-legal potion business is booming. I’ve paid off (most of) my credit cards. I can finally afford to eat more than toast.
All thanks to my newest creation: a love potion that guarantees instant attraction and long-term happily-ever-afters.
So naturally, the universe smites me.
One kitchen mishap later, a batch of love potion explodes, and my next-door neighbour, (American banker, immaculate shirts, permanently unimpressed), is standing in my doorway with puppy-dog eyes… declaring undying love.
Which would be less of a problem if he weren’t ridiculously hot – and if he hadn’t spent the last eighteen months glowering at me like I’d personally cursed his morning coffee.
Now he insists we can’t be apart. He’s following me around my flat like a lovesick shadow, flirting like it’s a full-time job, and “proving” his devotion with heartfelt confessions and dangerously seductive smiles.
Trouble is brewing, and not just in my cauldron. If the wrong person finds out what I’m selling, I’m finished.
So I need to brew the antidote—fast.
Before I convince myself this is all real.
Before he persuades me he truly does love me.
And before I fall head-over-heels for the man across the hall.
Merlin’s toenails. I’ve really hexed it up this time.
I'm Hannah Haze, a why choose paranormal romance author known for my sweet omegaverse books and not so sweet magical academy series. If you enjoy a touch of humour, a lot of steam and plenty of swoony, romantic moments; strong fmcs who know what they want and mmcs who vary from the devoted to obsessive, then I am the woman for you!
My other loves include long romantic walks in the countryside, undisturbed soaks in a hot bath and even hotter stories. I have one husband, three children, a very naughty cat and a new fluffy pupster. When I’m not writing stories, I’m thinking about stories, listening to stories, reading stories or dreaming about them.
Hexed Up by Hannah Haze is a hilarious, romantic, chaotic, and wonderfully swoony, sweet romance, and I had an amazing time reading it. This story is so good that you won’t be able to put it down.
The vibes in this book? I loved every single one of them. The potions, the witchy world, all the different creatures, the telephone box... I had an absolute blast.
Molly and Horatio? I didn’t want the book to end, and that says it all. She’s this sweet and hilarious freelance witch, and I was enamored with her from the very first pages. Horatio is a grumpy-but-good finance guy who’s ridiculously hot, with a filthy mouth and a hidden piercing. And together? They’re hilarious, steamy, and sweet, two completely different but perfectly balanced sides of the same coin.
The side characters? Amazing. Can I have a Damien for myself? I loved the development of all their relationships, especially with their parents. But Prim and Tiggie? I adore them, and I really hope they get their own stories. McGruff? Best dog in the world, he had me laughing nonstop.
If you love an amazing witchy romcom with a love potion gone wrong, fake dating, only one bed, grumpy vs. sunshine, accidental bewitching, and a swoony happy ending, add this to your TBR immediately. You definitely won’t regret it.
Thank you, Hannah, for this amazing opportunity. I’m so grateful I got to know Molly and Horatio. You really did it again. And those recipes? I’m definitely tagging you every time I make one of them.
My favorite highlights:
“How old are you?” “Thirty-two.” “Shit, ancient. No wonder your toes are hairy. Next it’ll be your ears and then your nose.”
“he moans against me and I wonder how a man in finance who looks so darn respectable can possess such a dirty mouth, a dirty mouth that’s now doing filthy, smutty, downright wicked things to me.”
“I want to tell him that every moment with him has been special. That it’s been so completely unexpected. I hadn’t been looking for love, and then it exploded into my kitchen.”
“She smiles at me, blows me a kiss and hurries off and I’m left feeling like a whirlwind just struck me once again. A wonderful, sexy, crazy whirlwind. A wonderful, sexy, crazy whirlwind who is mine, finally mine, and all it had taken was one exploding love bomb and some very expensive toenails.”
“She smiles at me, blows me a kiss and hurries off and I'm left feeling like a whirlwind just struck me once again. A wonderful, sexy, crazy whirlwind. A wonderful, sexy, crazy whirlwind who is mine, finally mine, and all it had taken was one exploding love bomb and some very expensive toenails.”
Got your attention? If you’re in the market for a witchy romcom with two polar opposite MCs, a demon best friend, and the cutest pup, look no further. This was such a fun read, and I flew through it (would have been easily in one sitting if work wasn’t a requirement 😩).
Though opposites at first glance (and the reason they largely kept to themselves desipte being neighbours before the love potion mishap), we quickly learn more about each of them and that they have more in common than you’d think. Describing Molly as a whirlwind is so accurate, but I enjoyed her bubbly personality and that her path in life has always been a little chaotic but true to herself - she just needed the right people clapping her on to move forwards. And Horatio was such a sweetheart (which was unexpected given he’s a London banker, IYKYK) - Molly’s chaotic energy spilled over, literally and figuratively, and brought happiness and freedom into his life, giving him space to be goofy and let his personality out rather than being the grump stick-in-the-mud he was at first.
I don’t usually read single POV, but it really worked here (and by the end you’ll get why), though I did love that the epilogue (and bonus chapters if you grab the kickstarter edition!) were from Horatio’s POV to get that glimpse of his thoughts.
✨ Paranormal romcom ✨ Accidental bewetching ✨ Opposites attract ✨ Secret witch ✨ He falls first ✨ Fake dating
I’ve read and enjoyed Hannah’s omegaverse books before, and with a particular love for paranormal romance, when I got the invite to be apart of a book tour for this one, I jumped on the chance! Thank you to Novel Tours and the author for my gifted copy!
I really enjoyed Molly and Horatio's story. It was light hearted, funny and really wholesome.
Molly is the perfect kind of chaos. She is really funny, kind and caring but also brings chaos everywhere she goes in the best way possible. Molly is a witch that unfortunately didn't graduate from witching school so her business is a little illegal. I love her light.
Horatio, he is amazing. At first, he seems like a bit of a grump but as we get to know him more, he's actually really sweet, loyal and can be funny too.
The plot was so good and just so easy to read. After an unfortunate love potion brewing accident, Molly finds herself in an awkward situation with Horatio. Things get interesting fast when Molly's family starts meddling and invites Molly and Horatio to a weekend family trip. Poor Molly starts to develop real feelings for Horatio but she knows that her feelings can't go any further as she is currently brewing the love potion antidote for Horatio. The thing is, does Horatio have genuine feelings for Molly or is it just the love potion??? I really liked how Horatio and Molly grew closer even though there were certain boundaries in place. I think yes, they are the complete opposite but they mesh so well together and I think Molly helps to bring out Horatio's best qualities.
Such a great read and the side characters were the best. I kind of want Molly's sisters to have stories too, I think that would be so much fun 🩷🩷🩷
Thank you Hannah and your lovely team for the opportunity to read this story and to be a part of your ARC team. I am forever grateful 🙏

Hexed Up was SUCH a fun time!!! Paranormal romance, witchy chaos, fake dating, magical mishaps, swoony romance… honestly I was hooked from the beginning and stayed up all night reading it.
The whole love potion setup going 'wrong' (or very, very right) was hilarious, and the tension between the FMC Molly and MMC Horatio was SO good. Very chaotic yearning energy mixed with 'sweeeeeet sweet release when things finally happen. The spice is cute but also spicy!
Molly is such a likeable FMC, funny, witty, down to earth, and very believable. I really liked that underneath all the magic and chaos there’s this deeper thread of her not quite feeling like she measures up, especially with family stuff.
Horatio was properly swoony too, layered, soft underneath everything, and their chemistry absolutely carried the book. And Damien the best friend?? Honestly deserves a book of his own. He was hilarious.
I also loved that the magic actually mattered to the story, but never became confusing or overcomplicated. It kept that everyday magic feeling which made the whole thing feel cosy and easy to fall into.
The humour really worked for me too, loads of banter and a few actual laugh-out-loud moments. Plus the witchy puns were elite. “Oh sweet warlocks” genuinely got me.
It actually reminded me a little bit of Lindsey Kelk books, which I love, that same funny, warm, chaotic romcom energy but with witches and magic added in.
Steamy, funny, tender, chaotic, and ridiculously easy to inhale!
FMC Molly Well my gosh, she’s the cutest little thing. We love a healthy FMC. She’s got some amazing healthy boundaries but also some self esteem issues. She’s been unlucky in life and despite a strong crush, some people are just too different to be together.
MMC H He’s a stick in the mud. He’s a grump. He sticks to the rules and doesn’t divert from the taken path. He’s absolutely stunningly gorgeous.
Can these neighbours find some common ground amongst a miscommunication and unfortunate magical accident.
Poor Molly, she’s really done her best. The taken path is just advice right? She’s passionate and does as she pleases, even if that involves strong feelings of anxiety.
The story really delves into real life issues rather than strictly fantasy and I loved that. Lots of fun side characters and an absolutely wonderful demon I hope to see again.
The story deviates from the expected run and as always with Ms Haze we have a twist. If you’re looking for something sweet and light then this is the book for you. It’s a very chill book, you don’t have to worry about big bad monsters or terror.
I loved reading about them finding their feet and common ground. You get a little of everything, but those epilogues really sealed the seal for this being a fantastic book.
Not the usual reverse harem that I’m used to seeing from one of my favourite authors. But she can’t do wrong!
If you know me, you know I love a witchy romance, so it's no surprise that I loved this 💖
One of the things I liked most about this story was that there was a good balance between the romantic relationship development (albeit some of it being 'fake') and the witchy elements. The pop-up incidents of the accidental magic explosions had me giggling. Molly herself was a great FMC. She was slightly chaotic, which I love and her expressions, instead of using phrases like 'oh my god', were hilarious. I think 'Merlin's Nipple Ring' was my favourite 😂.
Molly's relationship with her sisters, particularly with Prim, surprised me in the best of ways. At first, I thought Prim was going to be a tight, stuck-up stickler for the rules, especially because of her first appearance with the love potion magical explosion. But as the story progresses, we get to see how that's really not how she is at all, and I enjoyed seeing her breaking loose towards the end. I'm excited to read more about her and to see how her story pans out.
I think the signs about Horatio were there subtly, but I liked that it wasn't given away straight away. I love a he fell first trope, and I think this counts, even if this was 'accidentally' 😉.
As the book is told fully from the POV of Molly, the bonus chapters with Horatio's POV were 'chef's kiss'. It was good to see his thoughts and feelings throughout some of the key scenes in the story, and how deeply he had fallen for her.
Extra bonus points for the recipes at the back of the book as well. I will be trying that recipe for espresso brownies!
I received an eARC in advance of publication thanks to Novel Tours and the author Hannah Haze. I absolutely loved this book it was a really easy to read, funny, witchy rom com. Molly is a witch who runs an illegal potion brewing business from her flat, her neighbour Horatio (Mr Hottie) is a rich banker who is a bit of a grump. Molly is brewing a love potion when she accidentally bewitches Horatio and he believes he is madly in love with her. She tries to resist him as it wouldn't be ethical to take advantage of his belief that he is in love with her but it proves difficult.... The slow burn in the book while they try to resist each other was done really well. Not too tediously long but a good build up. There are some fabulous supporting characters in the book, the star being Molly's best friend Damien who is a rather flamboyant Demon. He was so funny and I loved his character and bond with Molly. Molly's dog McGruff is also an adorable addition to the book. The book does get spicy in the second half and I thought it was just about at the right level, adding to the book and the romance but not over powering it. I also enjoyed that there a few bonus scenes at the end telling some parts of the story from Horatio's POV, this adds to the story and it's good to see the story from his perspective.
I would recommend Hexed Up to anyone looking for a light hearted, funny romance with some spice and a touch of magic 🪄
Molly and Horatio pulled me in right away, and the tension between them kept building the entire time. Their personalities are complete opposites, but somehow they work so well together. The mix of Molly’s chaotic energy and Horatio’s grumpy, serious personality made their dynamic so fun to read. Molly was such a lovable character. She’s funny, chaotic, and trying her best even when everything around her keeps going wrong. I loved that underneath all the humor and magical mishaps, there was still an emotional side to her that made everything feel real. Horatio completely surprised me in the best way. He has that serious, steady presence, but the way he is with Molly as the story goes on made their connection even better. Their chemistry felt natural and never overdone. The witchy elements, magical chaos, fake dating, and tension all blended together really well without taking away from the emotional side of the story. It had the perfect balance of humor, romance, and steamy moments. And honestly, Damien added so much personality and humor to the story too. Hannah Haze did such a great job with this. It was funny, emotional, cozy, and so easy to get invested in, the story was written well, I enjoyed it and suggest reading it. Thank you, Hannah Haze. Great work :)

This book actually had me in stitches! I could not stop laughing it’s actually so funny. The cake scene had me sniggering so hard on the train i probably looked a little crazy. I loved the characters in this book, completely ate up the flirty banter between Molly and Horatio. The little letters between them both were so adored. These guys are just so cute and Horatio is just the best i adored him. I loved Damien i hope to see his book in the future cause i feel that would be absolutely hilarious. I actually really struggled to put the book down as i were enjoying it so much as its so entertaining and chaotic! I hope too read some more of these characters in the future.
I love the recipes in the back i’ll definitely be trying out the espresso brownies, although mines will probably turn out worse than Horatio’s!
This is a super addictive book that will have you laughing like a maniac. Perfect for those who loved the ex hex.
Thank you so much Hazel and Novel tours for sending me this gorgeous copy in exchange for a review i ate this up!

Thank you so much to the incredible author and Novel Tours for the opportunity to read Hexed Up early and get a stunning kickstarter edition of this cute witchy romance!
Molly is a witch who makes illegal love potions and when potion making goes wrong she ends up accidentally making her very attractive, grumpy neighbor fall in love with her and now her demon best friend Damien has to help with getting the ingredients to reverse the potions effects while she tries but fails to avoid her hot neighbor who’s doing anything to get her attention. This book was such a cute and funny read. It’s a fast paced book with lots of spicy scenes that will leave you wanting your own Mr. Hottie (she calls the neighbor Mr. Hottie a lot though out the book). This kickstarter edition has some cute bonus scenes and some of Molly’s dessert recipes as well (which I’m so excited to bake). I’m excited to see what other book magic this author creates in the future! Thank you again so much to Hannah Haze and Novel Tours for trusting me with reviewing this book!💕📚
I absolutely loved this book! I loved how Molly thought Horatio, "Mr. Hottie", the next-door neighbor, was such a grumpy man. That once the 'Love potion' exploded, she looked at him differently. The banter between the two was top-notch and had me laughing out loud at their antics. Their fake dating was hilarious, especially when Damien would step in. Damien tried to be the voice of reason for Molly, keeping her on the straight and narrow. Molly's sisters, Prim and Tiggie, were also funny in how they couldn't believe that Molly would be with such a hottie, and the shenanigans they all got up to. I really hope we get their stories at some point because each of the characters truly brought the story together and helped to push Molly and Horatio closer together. Of course, we can't forget Molly's dog McGruff, who had his own personality, and you swore he understood his part in bringing Molly and Horatio together, and the shenanigans he got up to, too. His job was to be her chaperone and make sure nothing happened when Molly and Horatio were alone. He was quite a good boy.
I loved this fun read; it was entertaining, kept me laughing, and left me with a feel-good mood afterward.
I absolutely LOVED this! A witchy, supernatural romcom. I binged this in a day, Hannah has a way of writing thats so addictive. Our FMC Molly, accidentally bewitches MMC Horatio with a love potion. I loved seeing their relationship, both are polar opposites, yet clearly so right for eachother. The romance element was spot on, there is some insta love (obviously, magic), but the slow burn was so good! I was practically begging for them to give into eachother😭😍 I love the friendship growth between them, whilst Molly is trying to deny her own feelings. The family elements were written so well, I loved every side character, especially Molly's relationship with her sisters. Damien, the one who might change my love for demons. I just love them all! I do wish we saw a bit more of Hor's family though This does get heavy on spice towards the end, which I personally enjoy. Was a great bonus to have Horatio's POV at the end😍
Some of my favourite tropes included! ♡ Secret witches (obviously!) ♡ One bed ♡ Fake dating ♡ Slow burn (ish) ♡ Sunshine/grumpy
I was interested in this as I love a witchy book. I read it when I was on a relaxing holiday abroad and I thought it was a great holiday read - it was an easy read, funny at times and great main female and male characters. It was quite long at 370 pages on my kindle but I thought the story was at a good pace. It wasn’t my usual read with tropes including single bed, grumpy vs sunshine and one bed but it was so well written that I really got into the whole book. I don’t usually read spicy books either, but, I have to say, I loved the spicy scenes in this one - it was really hot, at a great pace and fitted in well with their relationship. This is a 5 star read for me, I enjoyed all the relationships here, particularly the main female and male characters, his family dynamics and her relationship with her best friend, Damien. I thought it was great to get Horatio’s (MMC’s) bonus scenes at the end as well as recipes mentioned throughout the book.
I’ve always loved Hannah Hazes works before and this is no exception! Let me tell you, the moment this book was delivered to my inbox - I had to start reading it and I’m a bit embarrassed to say that I finished it in on sitting. I had the upmost privilege to be on of the ARC-readers for this book, thank you miss Haze for trusting me with this fabulous story. I’m so grateful. It’s different from her earlier works, but there is something about the writing style that makes it so easy to read and the flow in the story just makes sense. And the characters, their banter and the development between the MCs, chefs kiss!
I’m at a loss for words in how to describe it but I’ll try. It’s funny, cosy and contains a right amount of spice. I’ll certainly reread this one in the future and I’m really hoping for more stories in this universe. Hannah is famously, in my book, known for ending on a cliffhanger - this is not one of them!! I’m sad it’s over though, I really really love it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This witchy love story was absolutely hilarious and a real page-turner! I finished it in one go. It’s the perfect grumpy/sunshine romance and a fantastic example of how first impressions can be deceiving. It’s always best to get to know someone before judging them.
Molly and Horatio are neighbours. She thinks he doesn’t like her because he always knocks on her door to grumble about things that aren’t really important. It seems like opposites attract! After a potion-making disaster, Molly suspects Horatio was splashed with her famous love potion. They begin spending time together and discover they both have feelings for each other. The banter and chemistry were just perfect!
I genuinely hope the author continues with Molly’s sisters’ stories and her best friend Damien. I absolutely adore all the side characters; everyone feels wonderful and there’s no unnecessary drama. This is a perfect cosy rom-com I’ve read in a while.
Molly is really funny, slightly chaotic and adorable. She’s got a secret potion making business and things are finally going well until a potion explodes and she accidentally casts a love potion on her neighbour.
Horatio comes across as a boring, stick in the mud, serious grump but over time Molly brings out his true colours hidden underneath his hard exterior.
Told from Molly’s point of view, this is a sweet, slow burn romance with some nice spice. I enjoyed that they appear opposites at first but the more time they spend together, they realise they have more in common that it seems. I enjoyed the Horatio bonus chapters too, so we could get a glimpse into his perspective.
Special shout out to Damien, Molly’s fabulous demon best friend. I loved him! Got to mention McGruff as well.
Overall, I rate this 4⭐️ It’s perfect if you’re looking for a cosy, funny, witchy romance to curl up with.
Hexed up is a fun story that is written by Hannah Haze.
💜 neighbors 💜 scrappy pet 💜 demon best friend 💜 plans that go sideways 💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice
Molly can’t believe her luck. Her love potions have started to take off. Her love potions that are not exactly above board with the regulation department. Unfortunately for her, she needs to make it when it’s hot outside and no cool air inside. So, obviously that means she’s down to her bra and panties. What she doesn’t plan for is her doorbell to go off. Will the person at the door go away? Will she be ok making the potion? Will she continue to gain popularity with her potions?
This was a fun little rom-com with witchy vibes. The world building and character building was done well. It was nice to have multiple characters just trying to bumble through things throughout the book. I liked some of the little twists and turns throughout the book as well. This was a fun book that I felt like I couldn’t put down.
This story is so much fun. Let me tell you coming off of being sick for a week I got into this book and I have had such a fun and amazing time reading it. It has been so uplifting. It’s a book packed full of joy and mischief. The first 43% has been giggling like a school girl and there hasn’t been a book that has done that for me in a while.
Molly. Gosh I love molly. Chaotic. Fun. 100% the black sheep of the family. But gosh she just makes this story. From start to finish her personality and the way we get attached to what she is feeling. Yeah.
And Horatio, on paper the complete opposite to molly. But he brings something out of her. Makes her shine and you can see it from the moments they start to connect.
And then you have the plot it’s fun and engaging and just a really enjoyable. It is also different to anything else I’ve read. The side characters all have great personalities and I am looking forward to being back here to read more.
I had so much fun with Hexed Up!! I loved it!!! It’s a witchy romcom packed with chaos, laughs, and some seriously hilarious lines.
Molly is just trying to make a love potion… and then boom 💥 it explodes right when neighbor Horatio is standing in the doorway. Next thing you know, he’s completely in love with her. And that’s where the madness begins!!
They both know the situation is a mess and try to keep their distance while working on a fix. Molly keeps making the worst (and funniest) choices. There’s fake dating to keep her mom happy, magical mishaps, and a best friend (Damien) trying to keep her on track. Damien is a handsome demon who seems to make things even funnier.
Horatio is handsome, boring and very grumpy. Molly soon discovers she actually kind of loves these traits. The whole story is full of fun tropes! You have fake dating, one bed, magical chaos and plenty of laugh out loud moments. It’s seriously a ton of fun!
🤍witchy rom-com 💜Love potion gone wrong 🤍Accidental bewitching 💜Fake dating 🤍One bed 💜Forced proximity 🤍Grumpy x sunshine
This book was pure chaotic magic in the best way possible. A witch with a demon best friend accidentally creating a love potion that ends up ensnaring her hot, grumpy neighbor? Absolute perfection. This was such a cute, hilarious read and I had the best time with it from start to finish.
Molly was such an adorable quirky FMC chaotic, lovable, and impossible not to root for. Her dynamic with her demon best friend brought so much humor to the story, and the magical mishaps had me laughing nonstop. And Horatio? The grumpy neighbor was everything. The bonus scenes at the end in his POV were just the best surprise! Highly recommend this, especially if you are looking for a good laugh and an easy read!
Hexed Up was such a cute and fun paranormal rom-com! I loved the opposites attract dynamic mixed with magic, love potions, and one very unexpected accident that brings the hot neighbor next door right to Molly’s doorstep. Molly was such a lovable character. Her quirky personality made her so fun, and I really appreciated that she never let her family treating her like the black sheep stop her from being herself. Watching her and Horatio slowly get to know each other, even with a haywire love spell, made their relationship feel sweet and genuine. The paranormal elements added so much charm to the story, and Damien Molly’s demon best friend was one of my favorite side characters. You really can’t go wrong with a demon bestie! If you love rom-coms with witches, magic mishaps, and lots of charm, this is definitely a fun read.
If you’re looking for a new steamy, witchy romcom then look no further than Hexed Up 🔮
This book was so witty and fun, with an interesting magic system and wonderful characters. The author managed to create an FMC and MMC that I can picture so vividly in my mind that it’s as if they really exist, as well as a whole cast of side characters that I fell in love with.
The best way I can describe my experience of reading this book is that it was as though the cosiest, most comforting romcom movie was playing in my mind as I was reading, one that made me feel so nostalgic… but with plenty of very-much-welcomed spice 🌶️
I look forward to reading more by this author and definitely recommend that you check out their Kickstarter for this book.
A huge thank you to Hannah Haze and Novel Tours for sending me a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
The premise sounded a little more kooky/goofy than I was up for but besides a couple of moments it was actually very fun and had a lot of heart. It's definitely a rom-com opposites-attract fake dating story, which I love and Hannah pulled it off really well. Horatio and Molly are so different but respect and balance each other so well.
Fake dating is one of my absolute favorite tropes and I enjoyed how things were a little different for them compared to other books with the trope. The small cast of side characters are wonderful, especially the demon who doesn't understand human customs. For a shorter book, Molly and Horatio both have the depth and growth I like to see in characters alongside all the relationship building and rom-com shenanigans. I would reccomend this book for a lighthearted read that will make you laugh.
Honestly? Molly’s spell worked a little too well, if you ask me. Hexed Up gave me magical disasters and forced proximity of the best kind. Horatio is the hot grumpy neighbor that we all need+want in our life. Her demon best friend Damien also had me cackling with his not-so-in-touch with the human world side of things. The way I cracked up at EVERY “curse” out of Molly’s mouth. I loved getting to see & feel them falling for each other. The most magical “Ooooo’s” 👏 (IYKYK). McGruff was the cutest name for a doggo and his antics = 10 of 10. The healing they each gave one another for the HEA ❤️. This is a magical rom-com I’ll be recommending to anyone that will listen to me.
This was the most cutest little witchy romcom read ever!
I never thought I’d never have my head turned by a man in finance but turns out I’m wrong - I was swooning throughout 😮💨
Molly is a witch who bruise potions illegally in her apartment and one day her grumpy neighbour knocks on the door just as a love potion explodes and accidentally inhaled it!
The storyline was so cute I love the kind of sub of her family and all the side characters including Damien was just incredible!
I loved Horatio’s character as well he was extremely charming and just had me blushing the whole time 🥰
This book provide me with a perfect distraction of laugh out loud, paranormal romance vibes during a hard week 💜
This book was so much fun to read. I loved the balance between the romance and the witchy elements. There were several points that I giggled while reading. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised how well this worked being single POV told from Molly the FMC point of view. I really enjoyed the bonus chapters from Horatio’s POV at the end. It was a cute fun whimsical paranormal romcom. It would be perfect for anyone who likes paranormal romcom, he falls first, fake dating or opposites attract. A nice added bonus was the recipes at the end of the book. I would love to see more of these characters and their story.
Hexed Up is the most fun rom com, Ive read in ages. The banter is top knotch and the side characters are the perfect buffer for Molly and Horatio. Molly, the FMC, is a witch and her neighbour, Horatio the hottie, is the MMC. When her love potion explodes and covers Horatio, Molly is distraught to find that she has hooked a reluctant man. I honestly adored both of the main characters, they are really fun and play up the opposites attract trope perfectly. Throw in fake dating, while they wait to make the antidote and you have the perfect mix of chaos, tension, finding your person and understanding the others family.
This was such a fun and funny paranormal love story! Molly and Horatio are neighbors. She thinks he hates her because he always seems to be picking at her and how she lives. After a potion making mishap, Molly thinks Horatio was hit with her popular love potion. They end up spending time together, and they discover a mutual attraction and that they actually like each other. It’s a little bit of a slow burn, but the tension is great. One thing to note is the book is from Molly’s point of view until the epilogue and bonus content. Loved it!!!
I absolutely devoured this book! It was fun, quirky, and fairly low drama. This is the perfect grumpy/sunshine romance. It is also a good example of first impressions being wrong and that it is always a better idea to get to know someone before you decide what they are like. I’ll admit, I wasn’t quite prepared for the twist, but luckily things are quickly resolved. Horatio and Molly make a wonderful pair. They are quick to support each other and bring out the best in one another. I see some interesting storylines brewing for some of the spectacular side characters as well!
I loved Molly and Horatio! Hexed Up was a different vibe from her Arrow Hart Academy and Firestone Academy series… it was very cozy, low stakes, giggling fun stand alone book. I loved the opposites attract trope - Molly’s chaotic energy and Horatio’s serious man energy made for so many funny/sweet moments. The steam was soooo good and so real… and my favorite was the epilogue POV switch. My heart… swoon… This was a quick read and I hope to see more stories in this world. Thank you the my early edition arc copy! I can’t wait for the kickstart!
