We're going back to Juniper Springs, and this time, Kiera Vaughn is left in charge of the bakery she works at while the owner disappears during mysterious - and suspicious - happenings. After several vandalism incidents, things escalate to a hostage situation and violent attacks. Kiera also runs into an old friend from high school named Lucas, and their friendship gets more involved. Loved it!
Yeah, just another great book in the Jennifer Springs mysteries. What I really like about this series is that it brings everybody from the previous books into a part of the story. Looking forward to the next book soon sooner than later I hope totally recommend anything at all and I do mean anything at all by AJ Rivers
This episode into Juniper Springs is in the dead of winter, between the two holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas). Kiera, our favorite barista, is much more than just another barista. She’s formidable, kind and caring. And is she a target? Read to find out!!
This was a good read. I gave it 4 stars because I felt like the romance plot wasnt developed enough. It definitely, wasnt one of her best in my opinion. Read it & see for yourself.
This is a great story about Lucas and Kiera and finding answers who is murdering people and wrecking her bakery and finally finding who is doing it with suspense and action and finding love. Thank you for this excellent story.
What a twister! Did not see any of this coming, and I want some of those peanut butter cookies! This poor town has a lot to get through but they are strong people and I have no doubt they will.
The police murders investigation continues as it is woven into the storyline of this latest mystery in this small town. New characters connected to familiar characters are introduced into the storyline.
There's always something going on in Juniper Springs. It may sound like a peaceful locale, but watch out! There's lots of sinister activity going on. At least there's also romance. Each book introduces us to a new couple, finding love amid the chaos.
This is highly rated on Amazon and Goodreads but seemed a little bland like a Hallmark movie…maybe too “sweet” and not enough strength of personality in the book’s characters?)…it didn’t hold my attention. Too “wholesome” and not enough character development? Just didn’t “ring my bell”
