I do love dystopians, and this one was a little bit different. They are not living in a world where there is regular sun or rain. It’s like human made by systems, if that makes sense. I did love the found family and how the FMC was so strong and stood up for what was right. I would rate this a 3.75. Thank you to the author and Rattle The Stars PR for an arc.

This felt really fresh and different compared to many dystopian novels I have consumed! You have climate collapse and of course a government that seems to be in the business of keeping large secrets. I really enjoyed the authors writing style and found it easy and smooth to take in. Over all this was a good read and I am looking forward to the next.

Initially it took me a minute to get into the story line. It’s been a while since I stepped into a dystopian novel, but once things got going, I couldn’t put the book down. I wanted more. I can’t wait for the second book to come out!!
