Dumped by Vile Simon on New Year's Day! Could Sarah's year have a worse start? Hang on! Did I mention she has a shit job, is carrying a few too many Christmas pounds (as her mother kindly points out) and the highlight of her day is walking the dog in the park? Apart from her hilariously entertaining friends, things aren't looking good. But then, one day, whilst out walking the dog (surprise!), she is whacked on the head by a glow-in-the-dark Frisbee. Once she stops seeing stars, she sees something better - the perpetrator (accidental I'll have you know), the gorgeous, green-eyed and very much unavailable Tom. Thereafter, their paths keep crossing - does this mean it's meant to be? Or is he just a red herring? Join Sarah on a laugh out loud journey to find out! Please note, if you are sensitive to a swear word or two, this might not be the book for you!
This book was such an easy read, a nice light hearted story with believable characters. I really liked the main character, she was really down to earth and funny. It didn't matter that the story was predictable, I enjoyed it from beginning to end and will read more from this author in the future.
Brilliant & funny (laugh out loud funny). I fell in love with story instantly. I don't normally read this genre, but found myself unable to put it down.
It had me laughing from start to finish. I felt like KAJ was writing about me. Truly my favourite book of the year so far.
