I really enjoyed The Kill Code Collective—especially as someone based in Minnesota and working closely with clients in the medtech space. The setting and industry references added an extra layer of relevance and made the story feel more grounded. What stood out most was how seamless and cohesive the narrative felt, despite being written by five different authors. The transitions were smooth, and the tone remained consistent throughout. It was also genuinely fun to see characters from different authors’ worlds come together to solve a crime—almost like a crossover episode done right. Engaging, easy to read, and cleverly constructed. Having received this book for free did not influence my review.
