As the only living oracle, I’ve spent my life predicting the future - for gods, for mortals, even for myself. There’s just one in all the futures I’ve ever seen, I never find love. As if being a woman in this world wasn’t hard enough!
Then one day, everything changes.
Now my visions are gone, fate is breaking, and the gods are panicking. Their solution? Assign me three ridiculously attractive supernatural babysitters to “monitor” me.
✨ A protective Minotaur prince who sleeps at the foot of my bed
✨ A chaotic, flirty god who won’t stay out of my head (literally)
✨A quiet, dangerous wraith who watches me like I’m already his
I don’t need handlers, and I definitely don’t want them. No matter how tempting they may be.
As chaos spreads and the threads of fate begin to snap, I’m now forced to navigate a world I can no longer predict, and try to uncover who, or what, severed my connection to destiny, before the entirety of existence implodes.
But for the first time in my life, the future is unknown. Maybe this will all work out - or maybe there will only be trouble. And if trouble awaits, at least I might have a little of my own with the three very single, and available bodyguards that watch me with more than just duty in their eyes.
Because when the future disappears…
So do the rules.
Why choose / reverse haremForced proximityFast burnTouch her and die (Minotaur edition)He falls first (all of them)“I’ll protect you” x3Not My Prophecy, Not My Problem is a 30,000 word reverse harem romance novella with a lot of spice, and a happily ever after.
This was cute. Fmc was funny as were some of the mmc. I gave 4 stars as it wasn't my favourite book this year and I did get a little disengaged towards the middle due to fmc/storyline.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Okay, first things first: Oracle of Delphi mythology will get me every single time. Prophecy? Ancient Greece? Fate unraveling? People breathing mysterious fumes and speaking in riddles? Immediate yes. That was honestly reason #1 I requested this ARC in the first place.
And honestly? This was way more fun than I expected.
Set in modern-day Athens, Lyra is the last Oracle of Delphi and spends her whole life knowing exactly what’s going to happen before it happens. She knows conversations before people speak. She knows relationships will fail before they begin. She knows when people are about to spill coffee on themselves. Imagine living your entire life trapped inside inevitability.
Then suddenly her visions disappear and all Hades literally breaks loose.
Athena comes asking questions, Zeus starts panicking, fate itself starts fraying apart, and people begin looping through unconscious repetitive behavior while reality slowly destabilizes. That part actually fascinated me because it weirdly felt like commentary on humanity just sleepwalking through life instead of consciously choosing anything.
Meanwhile Olympus decides the solution is apparently:
assign her three supernatural babysitter/bodyguards.
A Minotaur prince.
A wraith.
And Hermes.
Because nothing says “divine intervention” quite like an aggressively attractive emotional support polycule.
Erevos (the wraith) was absolutely my favorite. Big mysterious shadow-man energy. Milos had that “could absolutely destroy your enemies but would also tuck you into bed correctly” vibe, and Hermes cooking for her and constantly making sure she ate honestly tapped directly into the female nervous system in a way I was not prepared for. The pampering? The caretaking? The emotional attentiveness? Unfortunately effective.
And weirdly, this book was WAY sweeter than I expected. Fantasy romance has completely conditioned me to expect betrayal, manipulation, hidden agendas, and morally gray men who need therapy and a muzzle. But nope. These men are just emotionally supportive and obsessed with her. No jealousy. No cruelty. No ridiculous breakup because somebody refused to communicate for 80 pages.
Is it realistic? Absolutely not.
Did I still eat it up? Absolutely yes.
The spice happened fast for me personally, but this is also probably the shortest romance book I’ve read in years, so my brain was still calibrated to “slow burn means waiting 250 pages.” Instead we immediately got accidental projected sex dreams and supernatural yearning chaos. Hot? Yes. Slightly embarrassing? Also yes. But I actually loved that Lyra didn’t immediately collapse into shame afterward and instead basically shrugged and said, “well… guess this is happening now.”
My biggest complaint is honestly just that I wanted MORE. More mythology. More banter. More dialogue. More buildup. More character development. I read this in one sitting, and it was kind of the perfect “one more episode before bed” read. But the premise had enough depth that I actually wanted full HBO fantasy drama instead of mythology novella energy.
Also, I fully convinced myself Apollo was behind Lyra losing her powers because of the prophecy she gave him earlier, so the reveal genuinely got me.
Overall: fun, spicy, sweet mythology chaos with enough prophecy drama to keep me invested. I’ll absolutely read the next one because now I need to know what happens to this emotionally supportive Olympus disaster group.

Title: Not My Prophecy, Not My Problem Author: Cora Knight Genre: Paranormal Romance / Reverse Harem Fantasy Romance Tropes: • Chosen One Chaos • Greek Mythology • “Reluctant Heroine” • Found family • Magical creatures • Prophecy drama • Reverse harem • Touch her and die energy • Chaotic humor Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Content Warnings: Violence, supernatural danger, mature themes, multiple romantic partners
What happens when the universe insists, you’re the chosen one… and you absolutely refuse the assignment? I certainly found out…
What Worked for Me:
The strongest part of this book was the main character’s attitude. Instead of the typical instantly self-sacrificing chosen one, she reacts the way many of I probably would: with annoyance, skepticism, and a desire to avoid responsibility. That sarcasm gave the story a lighter, more entertaining tone even when the stakes escalated.
I enjoyed the mix of paranormal creatures and mythology-inspired elements. The different personalities within the reverse harem dynamic kept the interactions interesting, and there was enough chemistry between characters to maintain momentum throughout the story.
The pacing moved quickly, making this an easy binge read. If you enjoy books where the heroine is overwhelmed but still managing to mouth off at destiny itself, this one absolutely delivers.
What Didn’t Work for Me:
At times, the world building & overall character development felt a little rushed. There are a lot of supernatural elements introduced quickly, and I occasionally wanted more detail or explanation before moving into the next plot point.
Some relationship development felt quick due to the pacing. The spice occurs fast but it was well written and fun. For readers who prefer very deep emotional slow burns may find the romantic progression a bit accelerated. I liked it, I tend to have a shorter attention span, and appreciate a quicker progression on occasion.
My Final Thoughts:
I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves paranormal romance with humor, supernatural chaos, and a heroine who refuses to quietly accept her fate, Not My Prophecy, Not My Problem is a fun, chaos ride with entertainment in heaps to satisfy every ready.
This read leans into its chaotic energy in the best ways, with one-liners and a FMC who will make you chuckle, a teddy bear type MMC, a dark MMC for those dark romance readers and a playboy golden boy MMC that everyone will recognize if you’re a fan of any Greek Mythology. This book gives readers a reverse harem story that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still delivering action, tension, and spice.
My Neurospicy Rating: “Well… now I’m emotionally invested in everyone.”
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

I love Greek Mythology, and I love when it is turned into romance. This is a really cute spin off of the Oracle and the Greek Gods. This was a great perspective of what can happen when the oracle loses her foresight. I really enjoy that this is a reverse harem version. I like that Lyra gets to be protected by three unique men that are more than man. I absolutely think that Hermes does not get enough of the spotlight in stories. This was a really fun aspect for him and to see what he has to offer.
This is an insta-love romance and is in the realm of fate. Lyra is a sweet oracle who is lonely and stuck in a routine that feels dull. The guys are all great, as I said before with Hermes, he is very handsome and actually a bit more relaxed and open vs the way the other gods tend to be. Milos is a really great gentle giant and I adore how big his heart is and how sweet he can be. Erevos is a unique being, he is a wraith and I think that the concept of him is really cool and how I could envision him. All three care deeply for Lyra and work hard to protect and care for her. This is a really cozy version of a troubled tale. There is no fighting or conflict between the core 4. I love the concept of the way the realms were fraying and falling apart. This story is under 200 pages and makes a great short read. But there could be so much more depth to the story and to the main conflict. The pacing felt a little off, I struggled to tell how much time went by and it felt rushed at times. Not enough to deter me from enjoying this story. This book does have open door spice but it is not too spicy, I would give it a 2.5/5 in the depth of the spicy scenes.
I recommend this fun quick read to those who want something that is heartwarming and unique.

I devoured this book! It is a good book to devour when you’ve got a couple of hours free.
We have our FMC Lyra - an oracle, MMC Milos - a Minotaur, MMC Hermes - a god & MMC Erevos - a wraith. 🔮 🐮 😇 🖤
This book is set in Athens and around Greek mythology. Zeus and other Greek mythology characters feature.
This is a reverse harem, no ⚔️, mythical MMC creatures who know how to use their powers.
A great mix of spice and plot - not too heavy on one of the other and flows well.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Only looses a star as I personally prefer dual POV books. I actually haven’t read a single POV (FMC’s in this book) in a very long time BUT I’m so glad I gave this one a chance - I did miss seeing what the MMC’s thought and felt though.
🌶️🌶️🌶️.5
• Open Door
• 1 scene of all characters in harem - MFMM
• 3 scenes of individual with a MMC
• no jealousy or fighting within harem
• “my mate” vibes 👌🏻
• no swords cross
• mythical skills 😉

I quite enjoyed Cora's new novella following Lyra's journey of losing her visions but gaining her true loves in the aftermath. The plot and spicy scenes were well balanced, easily a medium to fast burn. The length takes nothing away from the relationship building, we still get moments between Lyra and her men bonding and not just straight into the spice. I liked the variety between Minos, Hermes and Erevos; none of their personality traits overlapped with each other. Hermes had his flirty behaviour with major cooking skills. Minos was super sweet for his size and caring. Erevos was the silent, protective type who was a little mysterious.
Can easily recommend this if you fancy a sweet novella with low angst with a minotaur, wraith and messenger god seducing the only living oracle with plenty of spice!
My biggest thought on this is that it needed to be longer. It’s a nice short read if you just need something simple. I think this could have gone so much further and deeper. That being said, I didn’t mind it. I just felt like I needed more. More depth or more character development. Otherwise, all the bones of a good story were there.
I would say this is mild spice being a why choose. It makes me think it should be a monster romance given there is a Minotaur, but it didn’t really play out that way. Everything was just very mild and that can be good when you need it to be.

This quick read has a storyline that is fun, light and fluffy. Its an enjoyable tale, though I would have preferred more character and relationship building. As it is, the over-arching plot is well done, but the romance aspects are rushed and shallow, giving insta-love and insta-lust. I got the sense of a good base with spicy scenes clumsily stitched in and a lot of awkwardly simplistic dialog.
I highly enjoyed the climactic scene at the end of the book. I wish there had been more of that energy in the book.

This was an absolutely fantastic book and the first greek based reverse harem I've read. I liked the main character, Lyra and her three men: Milos, Erevos and Hermes. I honestly never expected to see a wraith in a harem before. That was a first and completely took me by surprise.
The plot was also a welcome surprise. I've not read about an oracle before, let alone one who lost her power. That was different.
I'm glad there was a happily ever after and that Lyra helped out Poseidon.

its funny and highly entertaining. i've always loved greek mythology and this was enough of a modern take to make most readers get into the genre. it was very easy to read, really quick as the story flowed smoothly. i like the characters but i would have preferred a better build up. but maybe for this type of book, the way things fell into place fast fit. its just personally i prefer a bit of yearning before the actual main event haha but very very likeable story!
Funny, sweet, and delightfully spicy — this was such an easy, enjoyable read. The characters were a blast, and I’d definitely recommend it if you want something fun and fast‑paced.
