This installment of the Battaglia series, finds Mirabella struggling to integrate all her roles of mother, fashion designer, business woman, wife, and The Donna of her unique family successfully. She knows Giovanni was reluctant to agreeing to her return to the spotlight thinking it would require sacrifices to their previously created domestic oasis, and distract from his sometimes selfish need to have her to himself.

This was the best installment of this series by far. Every character finally came into their own, and brought so much richness to this chaotic, crazy story. The relationship developed between her sister Marietta, makes it hard to believe they were not raised together. Lorenzo, Giovanni's cousin, has always been shady, and untrustworthy. All of that is still true, but we get to also see the depth of his love for Marietta finally feels real, and not all sexually motivated. Catalina, Giovanni's sister, is still annoyingly immature at times, but new elements introduced made me care more about her relationship trajectory with Dominic. I don't want to spoil anything, so will not give too much detail.

I must admit to being both leery, and happy about the almost 600 page count. We don't get much IR over 200 pages, and was scared it would be full of unnecessary filler. In the end, every page mattered. Actually started getting anxiety the closer to the end I got because didn't want it to end. Don’t worry, it does not end in a cliff hanger, but there are loose ends to be answered in the next installment. A lot of Interracial Romance is ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Though this a little pricey, it is well worth every penny. If this review intrigues, but you are unfamiliar with the series, do not start here. So much has happened, it would be hard to keep up with, or care about all the players involved. Start with Destino (Battaglia Mafia #1) by Sienna Mynx , the first in the series, which is also a very satisfying read. I must warn you, this series is very addicting!

Updated 12/7/16 after re-read: There was so much time between this and the latest in the series, a reread was in order. For the most part my initial review and rating stands. This is hands down the best in the series, and might be Sienna Mynx's best work period. She might need to bottle and market her character development skills to her peers. Major points for making these flawed women understood, even when unlikable on purpose.

Updated 01/31/19 after re-read: It's telling that this is my third re-read of this book, and I still came out with new insights. One of the best things about this series is how flawed everyone is allowed to be while still keeping readers invested in what happens to them. Which is why I found myself this time reexamining one of the main villains. I actually could sympathize with how we got here, and distribute some of the blame a little more fairly.

I have to say, out of all five of the Battaglia books, this one is probably my least favorite. It was a big mishmash of wtf moments that had my eyebrow standing for the majority of the book.

Storyline: In this novel, the shenanigans that were the beginning of Mira and Gio's mad love affair come back to bite them with the reintroduction of Kei and boy, is he mad. We also deal with the fall out the revelation of Mira and Marietta being Don Mancini's two long lost daughters and trying to facilitate a relationship with their brother and Gio's worst enemy, Armando. All of this is taking place with the other mob goings-on acting as a B-story.

Marietta and Lorenzo: These two are fucking NUTS. I'm talking off their rocker, belongs in a mental asylum crazy. They are the absolute poster children for dysfunction. They're up; they're down; they're in; they're out. They are an absolute mess. But then again, considering that their relationship started in an...less than ideal situation, it makes sense that they would be so screwed up. The whole scene about the birth control and the following foolish was a bunch of bullshit in my opinion. Dude had no reason to blow up and run off like a sad puppy the way he did. So the fuck what if she's on BC? And? She, as a woman, has complete autonomy over her damn body and has the right to choose when and where she has a child not some duplicitous, murderous, backstabbing fuckboy like you, Lorenzo.

Shae and Carlo: In Amore, we get introduced to Marietta's old friend from Chicago, Shae. From the moment she arrives in Italy, she wanted Carlo, no ifs, ands or buts about it. However, due to her complicated relationship with the man, Marietta warns her away from him, advice she does not listen to. This pairing for the most part completely disgusted me. After the way Carlo assaulted and nearly raped her, just to have Shae turn around and baby him like he's some kind of innocent, I wanted them both dead. Not to mention with a lot of their sex scenes, the consent was questionable a best and damn near rapey at worst. That, in and of it self, was enough to dock the two stars.

Random Musings: I feel like this book was a lot longer than it should've been. I love good sex scene as much as the next girl but I felt like they were too many of them included. A good number of them were completely unnecessary and did not advance the plot in any way and thus should've been left out. I also think that there were some parts that had too much unnecessary emphasis and some parts that did not have enough emphasis. I feel like the scene when Giovanni, Armando and their men could've been fleshed out a little bit more. Their showdown was a long time in coming and to have it done so quickly was a little disheartening to me.

Overall: Amore was probably one of my least favorite entries into the series. I still can't stand any of the male characters because they are the epitomy of everything I hate in a man but this was a overall solid book. I don't, however, look forward to seeing more of Shae and Carlo's stupid relationship. I also hope in the next one we cut down on the unnecessary sex scenes. Some are good but this entry had way too many. 3 stars.

Where does one start when singing the praises of the goodness that is AMORE? There's so much drama filled awesomeness in this one that I just can't contain my excitement. I'm still riding my Battaglia high and I finished the book last night. Mynx delivers her usual take no prisoners style of writing. The Battaglia's are back in full force and each and every member of the Battaglia family is immersed in his or her own personal dramas that will impact every other member. There are moments of "Please don't do it", "Whaaaat?", "Oh, no (s)he didn't", and of course the inevitable "That was SO hot".

I can't even admit to my favorite parts because they are ALL spoilery! But as I thought about what this story is really about this morning I came to the conclusion that this installment is all about touchstones at it's core. That one person or thing that always brings you back to center and provides comfort no matter what is happening in the outside world. For the main couple Gio and Mira it's first and foremost their love for each other. Gio needs Mira to help him rein in his impulsive and overly aggressive reactions. For Mira Gio is her safe harbor. The person she knows loves her deeply and completely. Mira has now figured out how to keep Gio's love from being overly controlling and completely consuming her. Their love for their children and their large connected family also drives them to do whatever necessary to keep everyone safe.

Lorenzo has found his touchstone in Mari. A perfect match for his wild, ambitious, and volatile personality. Mari won't put up with anything from Lorenzo and their trust in each other is greatly tested. Dominic and Catalina are each growing into their own roles in the family. As they move into their future together temptations and challenges will either make or break their relationship. We also get a better glimpse into Carlo's personal and constant hell. His desire to have a family of his own leads to even more pain for him. His storyline is breaking my heart and I hope that he gets what will prove to be a beginning path to some kind of peace and happiness for him.

The villains that have been lurking in the shadows are back and everyone is being tested. Family secrets are further revealed, alliances made, love tested, death, mayhem, devastation, and disaster all run rampant in AMORE. In between all of the craziness that unfolds love and passion is plentiful and often. Mynx knows how to bring the well written erotic romance and those scenes are smoking hot which for me is nothing but a bonus.

If you enjoy an expansive and engrossing romantic saga with plenty of drama you really can't go wrong with this series! AMORE may now be my new favorite book in this series and it will without a doubt be going on my list of favorite reads!

Spoiler Alter ahead read at your own risk
This is the fifth book in the Battaglia Mafia Series. Mirabella is ready to relaunch her fashion line she has it all a family a husband who loves her and a long lost twin sister Marietta that she didn't know she had. Marietta invites her friend Shae to their birthday party and runway show Shae finds herself in a relationship with Carlo who I felt bad for. Carlo past has shaped the man he is today. No one has taken time to teach Carlo about love Shae sees through all of that and teaches him how to love and be made love too. This book was hot the sex scenes are something else. Mira & Marietta find themselves communicating more with their brother Armando who I think has motive for wanting to reunite the family. Gio is still an overbearing alpha male and I love him for it. Armando has his eyes on Catalina who is in love with and will be marrying Domi. I also like that people underestimate and he rises to the occasion. With the return of Kei who Isabella is working with trying to make Gio and the family pay because her mother gave her up. This book deals with some serious issues and I loved the way Ms. Mynx deals with them so well. I can not wait to find out what will happen when Giovanni finds out about Lo and deal with Isabella. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more about the Battaglia's. The second time reading this book and it is still a really good book.

You know how you read a book so well written that you just have to sit with it for a while? I mean just sit and contemplate all that you have read. That’s the emotion I felt after reading Amore by Sienna Mynx. This is how you write a mob story. This book was so complex and just a rollercoaster of events I couldn’t sum it all up and do it justice.

Its 2 years later and the family is changing. Mira is growing her fashion empire while Gio expands his own. The problem with exposure is that you open yourself up to new enemies….

As a reader I felt like I was living all the drama with the characters. Marietta and Lo have a very complex marriage and learning how to trust doesn’t come easy. All secrets are revealed and Lo doesn’t deal with deception very well. And Carlo, poor Carlo! His character is so multifaceted I can’t even begin to explain him. Everyone has this “view” or perception of Carlo most is based on rumors or his hard exterior. He is not a man one would have a relationship with until Shae. She is what I like to call an around the way girl. You know the type, street smart and business savvy. Invited by Marietta for her birthday party Shae finds herself in a very odd but interesting relationship with Carlo. The author explains much of Carlos past and how his past has shaped the man today. No one has taken time to teach Carlo better but Shae sees through all of that and teaches him how to love and be made love too. One thing that is constant with Sienna Mynx is that she can write a sex scene!

Mira & Marietta find themselves communicating more with their brother Armando who I believe has an agenda for wanting to reunite the family. Gio being the quintessential Alpha male isn’t having it. Armando has his eyes on a much bigger prize our little Catalina. She has only loved one other man but Domi. Now this new man is making her feel a fire that is reserved for her fiancé. Many sleep on Domi but once challenged he always rises to the occasion.

I loved that we got to see the kids and characters from previous books like Renaldo and Nico and their loves. Amore was a proper title because these men although ruthless will do what they must for the women they love even if it means dealing with sworn enemies.

And then there is the return of Kei. What you think you knew about him throw that out the window. He is crazy and in love with a memory of Mira that never was. Now we all know Gio doesn’t play about his wife and will turn the city upside down if it means protecting the family.

Isabella, and her cohorts are found out and death and destruction follow. This book deals with depression, mental illness, rape, drugs, and guns and above all love. I felt like I was watching a show instead of reading a book. I was annoyed though with the fact that Gio and Lo knew the truth about Carlo but said nothing in his defense. I loved the fact that we got more on Mira’s family history. Although this book had many characters each storyline was fully flushed out and the relationships with each of the characters were vastly different. I did want more from the ending. Not that majority of things weren’t absolved. I just wanted a little more of an “ending.” There was some very emotional scenes in this book and I just know the follow-up will be just as great. If you are looking for a book that will wreck you and just plain good then this is the book for you. Please judge this book for yourself and not based on this one review.

Ugh. More babies and weddings for Book 6?? Sigh. Ok, so the good news is that Gio was not p-whipped in this book. Praise be. He brought the pain and was the Gio I know and love for the most part. The bad news is that there is very little actual mafia action, and you pretty much have to read about 70% of the book to actually get there. The first part of the book is mostly about Mira's fashion show and her and Marietta's bday parties, and there is an abundance of new couples. Just like the last book focused on family, this one felt like the 'couples' book hence the title Amore. My issue, as we all know, is that while the women and their issues are all well and good, I read for the men. The guys were woven into the drama but I just kept feeling 'when is something going to happen?' At the end of each chapter, one character would invariably wax poetic about how happy he/she was, which we all know means something was going to happen to disrupt that, so let's just get to it already.

This book was just too long. I skimmed parts of the big incident with Mira because, really, we knew Gio would fix it so do I really care about Kei's reasons for his insanity? No, I do not. Lorenzo and Marietta, while never boring, bordered on exhausting in this book. Shae and Marco...really? Eh. I mean I guess. How are they even a thing? Renaldo and Kyra, again, I guess. It's like what is the point? It all just felt like filler to me and it seems like there'll be more of it in Book 6 with upcoming weddings and babies. Shoot me now. The stuff I'm waiting to have revealed about Lorenzo, and Gio's plans with the klans is buried under all this stuff I need to muddle through. Don't get me wrong. I did enjoy the family/couple stuff for about 40% of the book, but then it just felt like situation after situation, and started to drag. I pretty much skipped all of Gio/Mira's sex scenes, and after about 50% all of Lo/Marietta's too.

Final answer - Sienna always leaves it all on the page. She always gives you a full-length book, not some 100 page novella after 2 years. Her editing is some of the best I've seen in the IR genre. An almost 500 page book and I don't even think I saw 10 errors. Maybe 5. And I respect the hell out of her writing, but this feels like a filler book to me, like Book 3 did. Pretty much 3 or 4 exciting things happened to move the story along. The rest....I don't feel any closer to resolution having read it.

I always look forward to this series. The storylines are always great! Book 5 was no exception. Gio was ruthless and sexy, Lorenzo and Marie are sitll crazy as hell. But, I'm happy for their new adventure in life. Carlo showing his sensitive side was sexy and endearing. Of course, there was a cliffhanger... meaning there will be a BOOK 6! Now we just have to wait to see what Catalina will get into and how Isabella will be located. I can't wait. I wanna read it now!!!!!
I just love tall, dark, and hansdome Italian men!!!!

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I FREAKING LOOOVE CARLO!!!!
Please Miss Mynx don't do anything to him, he deserves his HEA!
This series is what i would call a masterpiece. I have never been so exited about a book as i was with Amore. Lets just say that i read the book in one sitting, and this book had almost 600 pages (which took almost 10 hours according to my kindle)

This was me, and I'm not even exaggerating

The books starts off 2 years after La Famiglia, which was awesome. It was nice seeing little Evie, Gino and Gianni, awww how I love those babies!
I have to say that Gio wasn't my fave (he's still my absolute fave but not in this one), the one that stood out the most to me was my baby Carlo. He really is a good friend to Gio and the family. He keeps getting crap from everyone and doesn't say a beep.
Of all the women, I think that Mirabella keeps being my favorite. I don't know, i just don't like Marietta. I don't think she deserves Lorenzo (and lets not start on Lorenzo, I know he isn't the most standup guy but i still have a soft spot for him in my heart)

TRUST ME PEOPLE, READ THE BOOK! You will thank me later!

This is one series that's gets better and better with more and more drama and the ups and downs going on throughout the story. Don Giovanni is sometimes a big question mark to me with interior struggles, foreboding thoughts and silent actions but his wife always keeps him centered, etc. When will Lorenzo get discovered though... WHEN!!!!!!!!!!...#sideeye and glares!!!!! Still waiting for that ball to drop! I Love the way author Mynx can weave a story and leave the reader antsy to move on to the next book...

Battaglia saga continues, there's lies, murder, duplicity, manipulation, death, revenge and love. Sienna has sated my need to find out how the family were getting on. They have each other and that bond will keep them strong. There was drama from many directions which I found entertaining but I found myself a little bored of the Bella and Don. For Bella to have a successful fashion business and not have any day to day contact or thought, except when launching a new line is crazy. I wish there was more discussion between them about the business & her desire to run her business and being a mother and wife. I also found myself skimming paragraghs, loves scenes, repetitive=boring to me. There was more than a few spelling errors which surprised me as the book took a long time to come out and was the most expensive at £5.99! Overall just an OK read, not sure I will buy the next book.

First of all, this book was written by Sienna Mynx. OF COURSE IT GETS FIVE STARS!!!! I fell hard for the Battaglias with the first book, I was not disappointed with # 5. In true Mynx style, the she continued to weave the tale of Mirabella and Giovanni and family and I could hardly stop until I finished. I could have, however, happily written out or killed off Catalina...I'm just saying. Bring on # 6!

I was up until 3 a.m. reading this book (my husband was NOT pleased, but he'll be okay!). There was so much going on in this book. And the suspense! Sienna Mynx is gonna have me on high blood pressure meds with these books!

I love how hard Gio lives Mirabella. She and the kids are everything to him. But, I must admit, I hate how weak it makes him. I'm ready for him to get back to being the ruthless Don, who struck fear in people's hearts. I hate seeing him so vulnerable and making deals and alliances with the wrong people. He's smart and his father trained him well, and he needs to get back to basics. He knows Lorenzo better than anyone, so he's gotta be smart when taking his counsel. Dominic seems to be the most level-headed, but it looks like he's gonna be going through some changes in the next book (don't go to the dark side, Domi!). And that damn Santo! Gio, Gio, Gio, you knew better. How could you let Mira go anywhere with him! And what were you thinking, Mira? You hated that dude! But Santo knew just what to say to get her to go with him.

I love how we get to see the personalities of the kids. That Gino is going to be a mess - and a real Don, just like his daddy and granddaddy. Although Eve may give him a run for his money, with her smart self. Would love to see them featured in a present-day story to see what they're up to.

Not sure that the Marietta/Carlo/Shae triangle has been resolved. I really think Marietta and Carlo like each other a lot more than they realize, although I hope I'm dead wrong. Shae is good for Carlo and cares about him like nobody else, so I hope that he won't let her down. She is exactly what he needs to find happiness and peace.

Marietta's emotional issues were never resolved, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of that in the future. I agree with the other reviewer who said that Lorenzo was unfairly demonized for the fallout between the couple. Marietta was dead wrong, but Lorenzo was looked at as the bad guy.

Speaking of Lorenzo, I have such a love/hate relationship with him. He's a nasty piece of work, and has done so many people wrong, but he loves Marietta. I'm nervous about what's going to happen when those tapes are brought to Gio's attention. It's not going to be pretty.

As soon as I started reading the cemetery scene, I was in tears. I just knew my favorite enforcer was dead. I knew somebody was going to die In the book, but I didn't want it to be my guy. I was screaming (in my head), 'how could she do this? Why him?!' I was SO relieved to find out he was not the one being buried. Good fake out, lol!

What's up with Armando? Good guy or bad guy? I can't figure him out. I do know that he needs to get his own woman, and leave Catalina alone. This triangle is going to be a huge mess.

So glad that Kei's deranged a** finally got his due. Now, it's Isabella's turn. I'm sick to death of her. I really need the Battaglia's to get it together, outsmart that heffa and take her out. Y'all can do it. I have faith in y'all.

Please hurry with the next book!

No spoilers.

This is a wonderful continuation of a phenomenal series that highly recommend to everyone to read. I think fans of the series will be very entertained by all of the drama, angst, character development, and twists & turns of love and loyalty that forms the soul of "Amore."

I'm already ready for book 6 ("La Dolce Vita") to be released. Sienna Mynx outdid herself with her latest addition to the Battaglia Series. Brava!

-Giovanni-

Ugh, I actually HATE him. I loved him in the first two books, I like an alpha male like the next girl but he got a bit too much for me after the third book. My personality is too strong to melt over his controlling ass. I actually skip his sex scenes because I can no longer stand him when it comes to their intimacy. I've just gone off him because of his behaviour towards Mira. That being said I knew I could rely on him to sort stuff out and I love that about him. He's a protecter for sure.

-Mira-

I never really cared for her character that much and I love the fact that other characters were introduced with their own storylines because she doesn't do it for me. I disliked her more when she became Gio's doormat. She abandoned her ambitions and in my eyes she didn't do enough to make him see how important her career and independence was. He loves her enough and if she had put her foot down he would have listened...eventually. She did try a bit harder in this book though, baby steps I guess this is Gio we are talking about. *rolls eyes*

SPOILERS!!

-Marietta-

What can I say about her?! I love her and hate her at the same time. She's flawed and impulsive but I think that has a lot to do with her past. I love her strong character and the fact that she can check Lorenzo. She doesn't always let him get away with stuff. Men like Lo need to be checked or else they'll take complete control of your life, ala Gio. I hate the fact that she kissed Lorenzo's friend and obviously still feels something for him. Her reaction to Shae's thing with Carlo was uncalled for regardless of the house 'rules'. I'm interested in seeing how Marietta and Mira's sisterhood will be effected when Lo's secret comes out. The birth control scenario disappointed me. She has the right to choose when she wants to get pregnant- ITS HER BODY LORENZO! But I hated that she lied to him for so long and fooled him into thinking she wanted kids too when she was actually on birth control. And...walking into a brothel shooting up hoes? Smh Marietta needs help.

-Lorenzo-

I don't know why, but I love him :/. He is flawed in a different way than Marietta but I think they can relate to each other because of their flaws and craziness. He's impulsive and he's trying to cover up his past but it gets worst every time he tries. I feel sorry for him because we know he didn't actually want anything to happen to Gio's dad. I worry about what will happen to him when Gio finds out! Although I like him, he can be a piece of crap sometimes. I hate the way he treats Domi and Carlo. He can be heartless sometimes and other times he can be caring towards his friends/family. It confuses me. When the truth comes out he will have no one but Marietta so he better not mess that up or he'll be alone, but perhaps that's what he deserves, a just punishment. On the other hand, he may get killed. I hope not, the next book needs to come out now!!!!

-Shae and Carlo-

I didn't like Shae at first. The way she dressed, her ratchet nature, her pink hair (really?) but I warmed to her later. I liked that she helped Carlo through his problems, that was nice. I'm interested to see how their relationship will go. I was surprised by Carlo, I didn't really like him before and I kind of judged him like the characters in the book. I liked that we found out more about him and saw him grow. Its great to know that he had Shae to lean on after another death in his family. I feel for him when it comes to Lorenzo's betrayal.

-Catalina and Domi-

I love Domi, he is the character I love completely (along with Renaldo and Jamie). I want him to be happy but Catalina's thing with Armando smh. I kind of like the chemistry between Catalina and Armando but I love Domi too much to encourage it. I don't want him to be heartbroken. I feel like he is too good for Catalina.

-Kyra and Renaldo-

They need another book! I need a break from the Battaglia family. I love this couple and to me Renaldo is the best man in the book, especially after reading about his equipment in the 'Rallenti' book ;) . He will rightly be elevated to a high rank after saving Gio's life. I was having panic attacks when he almost died lol. Erm, where are the sex scenes between him and Kyra? -__-

-Kei, Isabella & Armando-

Kei was crazy as hell, I was hoping his character would just go away but he had to come back with his annoying ass. Gio sorted him out though. I agreed with Gio, he should have tortured Kei for weeks but I'm a psycho so....yeah
Isabella is annoying as hell and I just want her to die. I hope Lorenzo kills her before his secret is out but that probably won't happen.
Armando is not to be trusted-obviously. However, I'm excited about this possible villain and he's the only one out of three I can tolerate. I'm also interested in whatever will happen with him and Catalina but I'm messy like that lol.

I loved the book as a whole. I read it all in one sitting. Many parts of the book had me on edge. It was quite chaotic though, too much was going on but that doesn't bother me that much. There's another book coming out and I cannot wait.

Good Lord I’m still reeling!!!!

I honestly don’t know why I had this book in my library and didn’t read it. Sienna Mynx gave me blood shot eyes from just trying to finish this book to read the outcome of this book and boy I was not disappointed.
Talk about DRAMA!

Firstly, I love Gio and Mira they have been through so much and they are still strong in their love for each other. I admire their children as well especially Gino. I’m interested in seeing what Gianni’s personality would be like. Eve is so brilliant. I stand by my word that is they had only truly focused on what Eve was saying and not brush it off as children’s fantasies they would have gotten a hold of Kei sooner rather later.
Another couple I was really enjoying in this book is Shae and Carlo. Their story would be one of great interest. Lo and Marietta can be quite selfish sometimes esp Marie. Nevertheless their hearts are sometimes in the right place however sometimes their way of thinking often lands them in a lie and away from the mark of the bigger picture.
Catalina....girrrrrlllllll you’re playing a dangerous game with Armando or amando? 🤔 whichever. I still adore Domi. But damn.... hmmm. I just love Kyra and Renaldo.

Now secondly, it’s true what Kei told Mira is somewhat true. She’s just a magnet for bad guys. Too bad she didn’t realize earlier that he was a psycho under sheep’s wool. Let’s not forget the lady of the hour Isabella, all I’m going to say is that I can’t wait to see her get what she deserves and that’s the wrath of the Battaglia’s family.

Kudos to Ms Mynx on another book well executed. I’m excited to read what more is in store in the other books

I seriously just finished reading one of the best books ever!!!Sienna Mynx has outdone herself and welcome back to the Battaglia’s. I love Sienna Mynx and all of her books but especially the Battaglia series. Amore wow what can I say this is the best love story in the series yet there are so many layers--some I expected from the story that she has been building in the other books and some that just messed me up! I am dying to know where it all ends but what a fantastic roller coaster ride! I finished Amore without blinking or moving and I am still sweating, heart racing, blood pounding--so much adventure and action in that book amazing! I cannot wait to add the paperback to my library and wow-WOW!!!Thank you Sienna Mynx for being the gifted use that you are!To say anything else is to give away to much of the plot-MUST READ!!!

Okay, from this book in the series, we get some Carlo and Shae (Marietta's friend from back in Chicago) action. I LOVE THEM TOGETHER! Marietta and Lorenzo..wow..that's all I have to say. Incredible story, really. I couldn't put this book down at all. Spent all weekend with it lol Of course, Mirabella and Gio try to balance their relationship with their children and their outside obligations. For her, it's her fashion designer career and for him..well, you know, his mafia business. It's insane how they try to do all this, but somehow, their love for each other really gets them throw the twists and turns in Book 5. I thoroughly am enjoying myself. Now on to Capu where we get more detailed into Carlo and Shae's relationship.

I read this book while studying for exams.. how could I not? I always said 'one more chapter' but I could not help myself. This book is really good. Love the drama and story line. Despite the fact that the honeymoon stage of the relationship between Gio and Mira and Lo and Marietta is over, it still turns out to be a romantic book. And the kids! They are sooooo cute! I hope the author continues this series so that we can see them grow up. I can just tell that Gino is going to be a lot of trouble!.. Oh and Gianni is so precious..mamas boy. I love this book very much. Will certainly read it again.

First let me say, I love Sienna and I love this series. Although it was great to read about the characters again. They have become old friends. It did not have the same umph for me as the others did. The issue with the twin sister was not flushed out enough for me. plus no one really dealt with her behavior. I was glad that some loose ends where tied up and and in pure Mynx fashion others began unraveling. still a fan and will buy the next installment.

Please give me another book with Tia and Mel!!!!!

Amore- BRAB ONLINE BOOK CLUB

This long awaited sequel was well worth the wait. Another saga with the Battaglias, Mancinis and their henchmen. The drama was intense and very engrossing.

The return of Kei was not expected but served to hamp up the excitement. The couples all had their private drama going on and Giovanni and Mirabella sure brought the emotional upheaval. I loved this book.

What a great read! I absolutely love the Battaglia series. It was a page turner from start to finish. Don't mess with Giovanni and think you could get away with it. Loved seeing the bambini throughout the book. They are so cute! The additional character was a great one for Carlo. Lawd Carlo, I love him. I feel like I'm part of the family when reading this series. Wonder what Sienna has in-store for Amando? Guess we'll wait and see.

Amore

Sienna, hands down did a fantastic job with this fifth installment of the Battaglia series. I love the growth that each character has shown through the series. Amore has a lot of protagonists, so try to keep up. In all can't wait for the next book; however I'm not sure Lorenzo can say the same.

Another hit!

I love this book, it had everything you would expect from a great novel, love, romance, mystery, adventure and of course super hot sex. The characters where great and I particularly loved the Shae/Carlo/Mariette and Domi/Catalina/Armando dynamics, for me it was the best part of the book.I can't wait for the next one they just keep getting better.

Well, I am not really sure what to think about this story. It had some good moments, but it had a lot of moments that I was not really sure about. I think I may have had more of a problem with how people were being spoken to, Grown men being belittled, and all the lying and deceit. I can't quite put my finger on it but needless to say The story was ok.
