Ok

The revenge play by the MMC just didn't make sense. What he wanted was just kind of silly. There was heat. No instalove. Some age gap but older FMC so it worked with the 46 year old MMC. Well written and edited. Interconnected with other books but it's a standalone.

As usual this book took its twists and turns thereby wrapping you around its finger :). I smiled and laughed and became completely enamored with the characters. The Chester Street series is one that has me finishing each book in one sitting. Thank you for making me smile, again :)!

Did not disappoint

From cold and calculating to tender and loving Vaughn has met his match with Riley. And he is exactly what she needs in her life. Loved their story and looking forward to the continuation of this series.

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Another great addition to the series. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

I was just going to check out the first chapter and set the book aside for a day but nope, it sucked me in and I stayed up way too late to finish it. The character development and the way the story unfolded kept me riveted and wanting to read more. Bringing in the characters from the previous books has me now wanting to read all of them which I already own. Guess I will be binging the series this week and not much else will get accomplished.

AN INNOCENT ASSUMPTION

The story was surprisingly fascinating. The characters are engaging even when doing horrible things. The heroine is trapped but she overcomes the men , I wish her story had continued.
