What once was broken, can always be repaired.
The story of Alex and Sofie is, no doubt, one of the toughest journeys around. The misery and destruction they and their family had to go through in order to see a shred of happiness is shocking. The Strand past is no rainbows and sunshine. That's not saying there wasn't moments of peace. But Alex was always the rock to his family. The shock he releases that he wasn't always at peace and the secret he kept from them was what could change them all.
" How had I gone so long without her? I lived a lie that was how. There was no turning back for me. Inhaling her tropical scent with the knowledge, I wouldn’t go another day without her next to me. In my life. In my bed. She was right where she had always belonged."
But the madman himself is once again up to his same tricks and he is not concerned in the least who he drags to hell. But no family is more United together in their fight against the monster. Always questioning and looking around every corner for Reynolds to be there. Looking for justice is one hard task to complete for Alex, when one of the biggest cases is so close to home.

Broken is a beautifully written story of lost love, heartache, dark dangers and, most importantly, hope.
As a suspense and romance junkie, I was in book heaven. I was on the edge of my seat with every turn of the page.
The Strand brothers will sweep you off your feet and melt you with their dominant ways. Alex is no exception. His love for Sophie jumps off the pages and the chemistry between them is combustible.
Sophie is a strong willed and loving woman. She definitely gives Alex a run for his money and I love that about her.
No matter what the author put my emotions through while reading, I love how love and family persevered. The Strand family has an amazingly strong bond that, even when tested, cannot be broken.
Warning: This book does have dark situations. This is book 3 in a series.

This is book three in the Strand Brothers series. Make sure you read the previous two books before reading this one.
This is Alex's story. I'm thinking the author saved the best til last as I absolutely loved this story. These Strand Brothers are a force to be reckoned with.
Alex and Sofia's story pulled on my emotions. One minute I was getting ready eyed and the next minute I was so angry.
Senator Caleb drove me mad. I hated him so much.
Absolutely fantastic series. It's a dark thriller with erotica. I loved it.

I just love all the Strand Brothers! It just makes this a pretty awesome series. Broken another wonderful story and great addition to the other two books. I waited patiently for Lora Ann to put pen to paper for this one and though Branded will always be my favorite, I very happy with Alex’s story.
If you have loved and lost do you try again? Or do you continue to just exist? Alex sees the love that is now part of his brothers lives, but he still keeps relationships at arms length.
What happens with an evil as such needs to be contained but has power and wealth to continue to do just what he wants. The Senator a well played and written character, no don’t think I like him. Just have to like how plays his role. Amazing intellect, that of a sociopath.
As evil as the Senator is the Strand Brothers, are never far from reminding him that they are brothers and have each others backs. Ah then there’s whats in the dark will always come to life, a lost love never forgotten. A life revealed that will have a ripple effect that will throw Alex in a tail spin, will his brothers be able to help him.
This mayhap should have had a warning lable, its not all rainbows and butterflies. But it will keep you intrigued and turning the pages until the end. I do recommend it, though its not a stand alone, grab Branded and Bound. Enjoy

The Senator has now become the evilest of all villains. He is a man of means and power. Compound that with intelligence that comes from a deranged gifted mind and you have an impossible situation. You must read the first two books of this series to comprehend to what extremes The Senator will go to get his way and feed his distorted sexual appetite. I have to warn those who are faint of heart... the extremes this villain will go to are extreme and raw. You have been warned.
To make matters worse, Alex is in for some earth shattering news. He is also about to come face to face with the love of his life - Sofie Fields. Secrets will be revealed that will unhinge Alex. Only the support of his brothers will keep him from going off the deep end.

This story twisted me into feeling so many emotions, the author surpassed herself in writing very detailed accounting of love lost, second chance romance, and strong familial bonds. I absolutely loved the everlasting brotherly support as this family fought for each other every step of the way.
Caleb was so sick and as his sexual perversion reaches an all consuming crescendo. To think there are men of power out there, men who we look up as role models boggles my mind. And the Senator is definitely a cringe-worthy evil villain that was so steeped in mental illness there would be no coming back from the purgatory he lives in.
The characters were well developed, in depth and you could feel the love and strength these survivors sought to fight and continue to live another day with each other to lean on.
Thank you Lora Ann for bringing enlightenment and awareness on these evil people in power.
If there was one character I didn't connect well with it would have been Sofia, However I must say she had a life that made her hard and hard for me to like, good thing she found a softer side and I think she will change once she basks in the Glory of the Strand Family.

I loved Broken! I love the Strand Brothers! I felt sucked into Broken’s story line. Broken is the 3rd book in the trilogy Strand Brothers by Lora Ann and is the last book.
So many lives have been broken by one man “Senator Caleb” The story continues with Alex Strand, the middle child of the Strand brothers and Sofie are reunited after being apart for 16 years. No need for me to give you a synopsis of this book so I will let you read the synopsis that Lora Ann provided for you.
“Yet one thing was certain, we became strongest when we lay broken, in need of others to lift us up and see us through.”
I got my HEA but, not before a lot of dark bad things that happen. You had me crying Lora Ann. There are some sad parts in Broken. Hence the name of the book. But those broken pieces will be put back together.

HOLY HELL, where to begin. I have to say first, I did not see the twist coming with Viv. That was genius. Now back to the story about Alex. My heart tore and broke when he found out that he had a daughter and that he had missed all that time. Sofia too missed out on all that time due to her father. But the roller coaster ride that these to had to go through was way more painful. I cried when Alex was being so unreasonable. And then cried when Sofia was pushing Alex away when he was trying to prove to her that things would be fixed between them. I was so mad when Caleb grabbed Aimee again. His sick twisted mind was just that SICK and TWISTED. And then you had the Judge that was so stupid to sell his own daughter. I just screamed. Knowing that this was all linked together just made is oh heck of a ride. I don't want to tell too much more about the book. But it was so crazy and yet so good.
Now, I am hoping this isn't the end because it left Keeley's story open with Tar. There is something there. And would Viv getting away. We need to know what happens.

This series by Lora Ann just gets better and better, Broken is the third book in the series and is about Alex the middle brother of the Strand brothers. Alex loved and lost his soulmate and true love when they were young, after years apart they meet up when a family member needs blood. After trust issues on both sides are worked through Alex thinks he has his happy ever after, but Senetor Reynolds has other ideas, but as usual the Strand brothers and their ladies stick together and sort it all out with a little help from an unknown source from Caleb Reynolds past. If you thought only Even was a Dom, think again!!, I think Alex could give him a run for his money, as with all the Strand brothers, Alex is a strong alpha male. I have loved this series and i will now be going to read Bliss the novella straight away, to catch up on the lives of the brothers and their families.

I Received this arc from author for a Honest review......... This book is number three Alex story in the strand brother series make sure you read NIK story book 1 & E story book 2 in order to understand book 3 their lives are all intertwined . I NEED ME A STRAND BROTHER , COUSIN SOMETHING LOL . WOW these men the power of their love weather it for their soulmate,brother,sis in law they will do anything for you. Family protect above all together . love the story that played out from book one till now unraveling horrors tearing at your soul bringing you to your knees the pain that some of characters suffered is unimaginable. LORA ANN writing i truly enjoyed reading this series she has made me feel every word . i totally recommend reading this series. this is a not spoiler 5 star review written by Ann Myers of Mommy's Naughty Playground.

This deserves way more than 5 stars!!! If you don't read this series you are sadly missing out! This series was worth every penny!!! Spoiler alert, the erotic scenes in this book were absolutely panty-dropping! And the way Alex shows his Love, devotion, and undying desire for only Sofie was so completely heartwarming it kinda makes you think there is someone out there for everyone...I'm not going to say anymore spoilers but the end of this series ended perfectly and I HOPE Lora Ann does a spinoff of this series that contains some of the other characters...I promise you will not be disappointed if you read this series, each book has its own suspense, love, grief, and undying loyalty!!! This is a MUST READ!!!!

My Review of Broken by Lora Ann
My Rating 5 Heartbreaking Stars
Broken, was a beautifully written heartfelt story. I have been in book heaven with the Strand brothers and Alex was no exception. Alex has his dominant ways as do all these Strand brothers and Sophie is as headstrong as they come and Alex had his hands full. This book has a dark element to it which I love and once again Lora Ann has given me suspense, romance and captivated me from page one.
The Strand brothers are a force to be reckoned with and the ladies they fall for are just what these men need.
I highly recommend reading this series as you will find everything inside worth reading and so much more!

I couldn't wait for this book, I wanted Alex's story so bad. It was great!
As always Lora Ann's books do not disappoint! Not only do you get ridiculously hot men with their strong beautiful woman and steamy sex you actually get a story filled with love, loyalty, family bond, and SUSPENSE & THRILLS! I knew Alex would be my favorite Strand Brother, he is the center of his family. I enjoyed "watching" as his back story unfolded and hit his present life hard in the face. I love that it ended Happily Ever After but that the family doesn't even really know that yet. Can't wait for the novella to completely finish this wonderful story!!

OMG, I have to say I love this series. I love all the brothers but I believe this author saved the best for last with Alex! I started reading this book and couldn't put it down it was so good. The suspense, love and heartwarming joy of family is felt throughout. Full of twists and turns, this book and series is a MUST read! Can't wait to read more from Author Lora Ann!

Well we didn't expect it to go that way, glad Caleb got his, but not the way we thought, nice surprise there, what about Alex and Sophia, they where meant to be, what a family loved them all

I loved this story although there were times I did not like Sofia....but I did understand her. Lora Ann helps the reader empathize with Sofia's turmoil. And then there is Alex, the prettiest of the Strand Brothers....okay so he is the most handsome but he is also the most level headed until he runs into the grenade that blew his life apart. One can only hope that there is another Strand brother out there...what a family!

Ok so at this point you should be aware that you must read books one and two before even attempting to read this one. The returning characters and plot are all following the same story arc throughout!
That said, this follows on the same line as far as major drama, kidnapping, BDSM, killing, abuse.... the list kind of goes on. It was like the author had all these thoughts going through her head for a story line and whereas other authors pick just one, she picked them all. I will say that my prediction from book 2 was right.
So this is Alex's story, and it is a second chance one. Alex and Sofie had a summer a long time ago, when they were young and went their different ways, but there was a good reason. This had the normal pull and push of lovers that are trying to deny who they want. Very AWESOME sexy time scenes, that is one thing I can say about the author, she knows her way around a bed, closet, office, .... they are all pretty much the same in the end LOL. You will get thrown some twists and turns that you didn't see coming. Like made me cry not see coming.
All in all it was an ok read, can those women just not stay put!! There is soo much I want to say but can't. So if a dark read, with lots of sexy time is something that appeals to you, try this series out. I give it 3.5 stars.

Ok so at this point you should be aware that you must read books one and two before even attempting to read this one. The returning characters and plot are all following the same story arc throughout!
That said, this follows on the same line as far as major drama, kidnapping, BDSM, killing, abuse.... the list kind of goes on. It was like the author had all these thoughts going through her head for a story line and whereas other authors pick just one, she picked them all. I will say that my prediction from book 2 was right.
So this is Alex's story, and it is a second chance one. Alex and Sofie had a summer a long time ago, when they were young and went their different ways, but there was a good reason. This had the normal pull and push of lovers that are trying to deny who they want. Very AWESOME sexy time scenes, that is one thing I can say about the author, she knows her way around a bed, closet, office, .... they are all pretty much the same in the end LOL. You will get thrown some twists and turns that you didn't see coming. Like made me cry not see coming.
All in all it was an ok read, can those women just not stay put!! There is soo much I want to say but can't. So if a dark read, with lots of sexy time is something that appeals to you, try this series out. I give it 3.5 stars.

Broken yes that's how I've felt reading this book so many emotions I've had to put my kindle down a few times. The story continues with the strand brother's Aimee and Nik are so very much in love as are Even and Lacey. Alex watches on and wishes he had what his brother's had also after what the family have been through it as brought them all closer if that was ever possible. Alex has found a bond with Ari he doesn't understand a need to protect her like there is a connection but he will protect her from anymore harm that he knows for sure. While visiting he runs into a old flame and all the feelings he has for her come rushing to the surface. All he can see is the woman of his dream who broke his heart of which has never truly healed. But why is she here in the same hospital as him what could she possibly want. He hadn't seen anything of her since he received the letter she sent. She is still breathtakingly beautiful as the day he last saw her his body begins to to respond yet his mind is in turmoil why have there paths crossed at such an unexpected time well you will have to read and find out. Seriously this book leaves you broken angry and yet you can't put it down for to long. Lora Ann you have done an amazing job yet again and I would highly recommend this series oh and the strand brother's need I say more

Just didn't love it.
I have book one 4 stars and book two 5 stars, but I just couldn't love this story. In my opinion, Sofie was a hard person and hard to like. All the books in this series have a ton of sexual content ( and a ridiculous amount of cheesy coincidental moments where certain songs end up playing), but this one seemed to have more sex than story. I wanted to like it, but I find myself wishing I hadn't spent the money even though it wasn't much.

The storyline of this book/series kept me intrigued. Some parts are dark and horrific but wow.. Some parts are extremely hot. I still struggled a bit with some of the dialogue, to me, I couldn't imagine them saying some of the words. But that might be because I see them in a different light. I did really enjoy the plot though, even the dark and twisted.. I will read more from this author and can't wait to get to know more of her books.

Great read
The first book in the series was recommended to me. I was hooked! This is the 3rd book in the series and wrapped up all the loose ends. It tells the story of Alex and Sophie. It is as good as the first two. I would recommend this whole series for reading but be warned you won't get a lot of sleep since you can't put it down!

Strand Brothers
Once again this has blown me away with this book! She has me falling more in love with her work each book I read from her! Once again we are on an emotional and sexy ride with the Strand Brothers. I highly recommend the whole series to all who love dark.
