Not bad
I don't like to start a review on a negative but one of the issues that bugged me throughout this book was the formating. I'd be getting an entire page and then have to go 2 more pages where there is only a handful of sentences on them. Don't know if the author can do anything to make it a smoother read by sorting that out?
First 1/3 of the book was fantastic, really got into the idea of sin being a physical being rather than guilt you carry inside and that the sin is transferable and that it was one families curse to carry this burden. Great idea. After that and it starts to introduce the outside being what seems like another world, I found it harder to follow the plot, it just seemed like there was far too many steps to get to the weaver, who never really made an appearance in the book other than by name.
Also didn't understand how elias' younger brother knew all the answers to what was going on that was left unexplained as to why he has all this knowledge, when as far as I'm aware he was locked up on his own being the nursery for smaller sins?
Overall I'd say the idea is great, love it. Just could of done with being abit more thought out as to where it was going rather than be show up and destroy
