Getting Plutopounded

After one too many heartbreaks, she stops believing in love.

Late one night, under a sky full of distant stars, she makes a half-joking wish on a shooting star—for someone out of this world. Someone who won’t leave. Someone who will finally choose her.

She never expects the universe to answer.

Pluto was never meant to be human. Cursed long ago and cast into the cold silence of space, he has spent centuries watching life from afar—untouchable, unseen, and utterly alone. Until her voice reaches him. Until her wish pulls him back into a body… and into a world he was forbidden to return to.

Drawn together by something deeper than coincidence, their connection ignites fast—intense, magnetic, and impossible to ignore.

Short, spicy, sweet little romance. Nothing overly crazy or fancy but I enjoyed it. Didn't read the blurb just went in blind on a rec from one of my book groups. I really liked the concept of Pluto (the planet) as a person. Don't let the title fool you, this felt like a nice short story about connection in addition to the spice. :)

I went into Getting Plutopounded by Sunday Addams with absolutely no idea what to expect. I knew it had a reputation for being “smut,” so I anticipated something fun and outrageous, but I never expected to be so captivated by the writing itself.

From the very first pages, I found myself completely immersed in the world the author created. The prose was vivid and lyrical, painting scenes so clearly that it felt like I was experiencing them firsthand. Every description was intentional, and the imagery was surprisingly beautiful. It wasn’t just about what was happening—it was about how it was written.

What surprised me most was that a book in this genre could be so elegantly crafted. Sunday Addams has a way of turning even the most absurd premise into something compelling through rich descriptions and evocative language. The story pulled me in, and I kept reading not just to see what happened next, but because I genuinely enjoyed the author’s voice.

Whether you’re a seasoned reader of the genre or someone, like me, who doesn’t know what to expect, Getting Plutopounded is proof that “smut” can still be beautifully written. It challenged my assumptions about the genre and left me appreciating the artistry behind the storytelling just as much as the story itself.
