This is Sydney Blondell’s first ever YA thriller and it’s a binge worthy one at that! One of my favorite lines, as there were some bangers, was:
🔥”Fear could also make someone desperate. And desperate people didn’t make threats. They made decisions.”
I had a ton of thoughts and without giving spoilers, here they are (but you’ll need to read the book to TRULY understand 😉)
*Derrick + Sage = love that will never happen but should
*THE LITERAL LAST LINE OF THE BOOK
*Sheriff Woods sounds kinda hot tbh
*The acknowledgment page is a must read (says me)
*Sage’s mom sounds like she drinks wine at 11 am and calls it her breakfast

Thank you, Sydney for giving me the chance to read and review an early copy of Burnt Into Memory! This is Sydney's first young adult thriller and was a fast paced story with small town gossip, revenge, secrets, and suspicious characters. This would be a fun book to binge on a rainy day. I will say I was onto who the killer was, but that might be because I've read a lot of young adult thrillers. 😆
