Tension is everything

The tension throughout this book had me on the edge of my seat. Every now and then I had to put the book down, I couldn’t take it. Despite knowing in advance that there is a happy ending, I worried what was going to happen next. There is plenty of steam as well, but it was everything else going on that kept the story going. Krista writes such intense stories.

Cracking

Great characters, I really enjoyed this. Reverse harem, super spicy, guaranteed HEA but lots of twists and turns along the way. A great read.

To date I have read every single book written by author Krista Wolf. Her books contain everything I'm looking for in a story- fascinating, well developed characters; intriguing storyline with plenty of twists and turns that keep me guessing (and not just the typical overused plots); sizzling chemistry between main characters. "Stealing the Bride" definitely didn't disappoint! It was a wild ride of intensity that left my heart racing at times and my mind up much later than my usual bedtime because I was unable to put the book down.

Peyton is one strong, shrewd, forward thinking and forever calculating female lead. Her fiance (or shall I say ex-fiance?) Donovan is a dirty rotten scoundrel to his core. And the three men Donovan sent to retrieve his runaway bride- Theo, Ripley and Colson- are each completely different, the best in their fields and equally ruthless, but they are also possess hearts with a conscience and a soft spot for Peyton. Donovan never counted on Peyton and his henchmen to band together. Together they are a force to be reckoned with. Who will come out ahead- Donovan or Peyton and the guys?

Action packed from start to finish and sooo worth the read!

I thoroughly enjoy every single book that I read from Krista Wolf, each story is individual and just as compelling in the action and drama that unfolds in the pages of each and every story, this was such a fantastic story. I had trouble putting it down until the very last page. It is just so in this book where Peyton is unsure of her marriage to the billionaire Donovan who likes to take over everything, and when she runs away, he hires Colson, Theo, & Ripley to capture her and bring her back. This is where the fun begins and the heat on the pages, leaves you gasping. There is a happily ever after but there’s a long journey before you get there. This book is worth reading if you enjoy this type of story.

This was another gripping read by this author and I have to say that she knocked it out of the park with the tension and intensity of the plot. Peyton was pretty sure she was making a mistake in marrying billionaire, Donovan, but all the red flags became super obvious to her as she marched down the isle. This prompted her to follow through on her escape plan and I loved the detail she put into it. Sadly, Colson, Theo and Ripley are put to the task of bringing her back - alive. Say what? These three think they'll follow their orders but things go rather sideways... I was hooked, beginning to end on how their story would unfold. There is great romance, and plenty of steam, the the journey to their HEA was convoluted, and filled with danger, which had me on the edge of my seat. So good and I'm looking forward to what's next by this author :D

Loved the story. Peyton has decided not to wed Donovan and decides to escape on the day of the wedding. She has everything planned and almost gets away with it. Donovan is furious and he sends Colson, Theo and Ripley to bring her back. They find her in Vermont and she fights them before the trap her. When they tell Donovan, he says to get rid of her and bring him the necklace. The men decide that that is not an option. They are prepared to keep Peyton safe, get the info from the data drive in the locket and then figure a way to use the information to take down Donovan. This book is full of danger, drama, hot emotions and a happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book.

Starts with a bang .. or running more like it. This FMC is spunky and decided to run from a future of mediocrity with a man that she finally saw as a problem.

Smart .. preplanned and caught by 3 of his men… and she really gives them a lot to deal with ..

Things changed … and the story goes from there … a bit of danger .. a lot of running … some steam between the sheets and elsewhere.

A low angst story that is fast paced and easy to read.

Donovan is a powerful man and he sends Theo, Ripley, and Colson to retrieve his runaway bride. This book was incredible, but also unpredictable at times. Theo is the first to fall for Peyton, the runaway bride, because he already had feelings for her. The intensity of this book was great, the men and Peyton have quite the time together. Fantastic characters and great story, I'm really glad I read this one.

This was my first time reading anything by this author and I was on the edge of my seat right off the start. I fell in love with Peyton and her guys. I mean she is a bad a$$ Chicka! The chemistry between her, Colson, Theo, and Ripley are off the charts steamy! The way they work together is like they've been together forever. The suspense during the story was great, and I loved how it ended. Highly recommend.

As the story begins, Donovan is the billionaire who controls everything around him. Peyton is very unsure about the future course as her ceremony approaches. Hence, it's time for her to make her exit, as fast as possible (away from the wedding event). As a result, these three guys (Colson, Theo, & Ripley) are ordered to capture her. But they have some other desires they wish to pursue (instead of following their orders completely).

This story hits the ground running. Literally. Peyton decides to run from her wedding to what would have been nothing more than settling. When Theo, Ripley, and Colson are ordered to get her and bring her back, they have different ideas in mind. They decide to keep her for themselves. I loved the storyline in this. It’s a why choose with action, spice, and three hotties that make Peyton a happy girl. This was a really good read.

This was a non-stop, full speed ahead, “action” fest.
So much going on throughout the book to keep the readers attention at all times.
While a why choose, that was not the heart of the story. Even with the wild child tendencies of the center of that RH.
It was fascinating to see the growth of each character, how they all grew individually and as a group, and how they worked to take down the ex.

Peyton runs from the altar instead of marrying billionaire Donovan. Finding her and keeping her safe from their boss Donovan, the three men (Colson, Ripley and Theo) are also drawn to her. A great steamy read with danger and drama, protective men, why choose romance and no jealousy.
