They all wrote him off. They’ll never make that mistake again.
Rhyker is an oddity among his people. A prince without a purpose. A draconian without horns or scales. Worthless, they say, until the day his power is unleashed.
Doing the unthinkable, Rhyker absorbs a dragon’s Aspect and wields its elemental power for himself. Power that grows stronger every day.
Power that can change the world, and even allow him to be the first mortal to pass through the Eternal Walls.
His fame grows quickly, bringing new allies like a pint-sized barbarian woman with an unquenchable drive and a formidable redhead that prefers to let her lance do the talking for her.
Both will give him their loyalty—and much more.
But power breeds envy. As Rhyker’s ambition swells, the target on his back grows.
All those that try to stop him, even those closest to him, are about to find out what happens when you wake the dragon.
This book has all the right ingredients, great characters, real romance, a simple yet intriguing story. All wrapped up with just a little bit of mystery. It was a long book but did not feel like it, the balance and flow of the words worked perfectly to keep the momentum up for the reader throughout the entire book. Hopefully the next one comes out soon.
Pulled my interest and kept it as well, certainly a fair amount of intrigue to keep guessing without any blatant give aways which is nice, love the characters and looking forward to the follow ups in this series, thanks!
Great book and exciting start to the series. I am looking forward to the next book and reading more about the world and the characters.
This has everything I'm looking for in a haremlit book: a strong MC that earns both his harem and his strength, interesting LI's that add more to the story than just serve a sex objects, and a storyline that introduces the world without overwhelming the reader with stakes that seem insurmountable to the characters. The spice adds to the character growth of both the LI and the MC, and the romance/relationships feel organic and believable. The world building is immersive and diverse and is slowly revealed to the reader with plenty of information that the reader understands, but leaves enough mystery for future books.
10/10 I recommend this book and cannot wait for more
