This was a key film of my childhood and apparently of the author's as well. This will tell you literally everything you might ever want to know about the film. I was surprised to learn that the scriptwriter had also worked on "The Ladykillers" and "The Russians Are Coming The Russians Are Coming."

A great deep drive by James Curtis into the making of one of the greatest comedy epics of cinema history. If you love this movie, you need to read this one!

Throughly researched with lots of
full of interesting anecdotes and compelling backstories about the cast, producer-director Stanley Kramer, writers William and Tania Rose and all the stuntpeople and crew that came together to make the gargantuan project come off so successfully!
