Carter Kids #1

Treacherous

Rate this book
One year is all I have to endure. That was the agreement with Uncle Max. One year in a new school, on a new continent, and then I can go home to Ireland.

Totally doable, right?

Wrong!

The boy next door is dangerous. He's a criminal. He's violent. He fills the halls of my school by day and keeps me up at night.

I know I'm in danger. I need to keep my head down and my mouth shut. Problem is, I'm not good at doing either.

Noah Messina is treacherous and he's reeling me deeper into his underworld.

It's sink or swim time, he warns me, but I fear I'm already drowning...

Warning: due to its explicit content, Treacherous is recommended for mature readers of seventeen years and above.

Trecherous
TREACHEROUS: Is the first full length romance novel in (Carter Kids #1) series by new to me author 'Chloe Walsh.' Spoken in 'Dual POV's' In this we meet Noah Messina and Teagan.

I kind of went out on a limb with this one, it was recommended to me, nothing else was really catching my eye or holding my attention, sooooo I thought why not give this one a go!! And bugger me side ways and back this was sooooo good!! I started it and I for realz couldn't put it down, it was so much more than just your typical bully story, it ticked more than one box..
All the feels, all the angst, all the swooney moments..

New in town on thirteenth street in Colorado, and starting at Jefferson High, her last year of highschool at a brand new school, Teagan's life started and ended as soon as she clapped eyes on the boy next door, she knew deep down that he was bad to the bone, it was written all over him. Noah Messina is all kinds of dark and dangerous, wrapped in the body of a sex god.

To say they started off on the wrong foot was an understatement. Their encounters went from bad to worse.. He was nice to look at. It was such a shame we hated each other's guts, it kind of mean't he was off limits to me - even my imagination.

Add his stepsister in the mix and things escalated to the extreme. For some reason she hated Teagan from the get go and made sure her little minions were all on board with making Teagan's life a living hell.

The sexual chemistry between Teagan and Noah was electric, it sizzled between them and was felt with each interaction they had. You need to walk away from me, Thorn - before I get addicted.

There was more to Noah than met the eye, he struggled to keep his head above water with the predators forever knocking at his door, dragged into illegal fighting against his will, death his only way out. Made for a riveting read that I couldn't put down.

***4,5 "Thorn" stars for Noah and Teagan***

Are you fuckin' kidding me???
I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!! I H.A.T.E. them!!!
Chloe, why did that to us???
After all those shits that we have to get through... that was the ending???

And not only that but you went seven years forward???
So much wasted time... I'm gonna die!!!
Thank God that the second book is already out there, but please, please tell me that the problems will finish and we're not going to have another cliffy!!!

Damn, that was one hell of a ride and i want to thank my friend, Julie, for this rec...
You get me, girl, you're really getting me...

Noah Messina is my new loving book boyfriend!!!
And with the girl next door, they were a very fiesty and delightful compination...

(This gif is so perfect to present you the thing between Noah and Teagan!!!)
I won't lie to you, they frustrated the hell out of me more than once, they made me want to kick their asses and get their heads straight, but at the same time, they made me excited and angsty and i couldn't stop turning the pages!!!

I didn't even realize when i finished it!!!

Well, this was the story of Teagan and Noah...

Teagan had come to America from Ireland with her uncle who was her legal guardian after a tragedy that struck her family some years before...
But it was very difficult to live in this neighborhood when the girl next door was bullying her all the damn time without a good reason...

And when in the game added her hot step-brother Noah, the things got out of hand...
A war started between Teagan and the two-stepsiblings!!!
A war that got out of hands many times...

"You know what they say...
Hate is the closest thing to love."

Teagan was sick out of Ellie's bullshits and when Noah was adding in the equation, she decided to fight back with everything she had... She didn't lose a single opportunity to get back to them with any cost... Yes, Ellie was the ultimate bitch, but her step-brother was a treacherous guy!!! And he wasn't stopping harrass her...

Teagan's biggest problem was that she hated with every shell of her body Noah, but at the same time, her body was becoming hot and bothered every time that she was too close to him...
Noah was a dangerous guy with too many secrets and she just had to stay away from him...

Would she take her own advice???

"My mind knew this attraction – and my behavior – was all kinds of fucked up and irrational, but there was this draw I hadn’t felt before – or maybe I had and refused to consider it as anything other than my body's heated response to his assholeness."

Noah Messina was... hot!!!! Wow!!! That guy was too hot for his own good and he was also such a tortured soul...

Honestly, guys!!! I just want to consolate him and to protect him with any cost...
He had too many shits on his plate and the presence of the new girl next door made the things more ugly for him than already have been...
Noah was living a pure hell and he didn't need the distraction that Teagan was offering him...

She was the only girl that could drive him crazy from anger and lust...
But as much as he wanted her, he had to keep her in arm's length... for her own safety and his own, as well!!!
So, she had to believe that he was hating her...

Even though that he had no part in the torment that his step-sister was creating to her...

"That girl was nothing but a huge thorn in my side and I didn’t need any more complications and pain in my life."

Well, as you can understand, Teagan and Noah were bickering all the fuckin' time and that was annoying and exciting at the same time...
The air around them was thick with tension when they were close to each other...

I fuckin' crave for them to be together and they annoyed me when they didn't stop provoking each other..

"I'm exactly what you want – crave – and that rebellious streak inside your brain fucking hates it."...
"I'm just…I'm confused as hell about you – about how you make me feel," I admitted in a torn voice. "You scare me."

So what will happen with them???
Can they get over all those obstacles between them and be together???
Or with being together will come the destruction of both of them???
Can they stay away from each other??? Or they will take the risk???

"It's gonna be rough, Thorn...I'm the worst kind of wrong for you."
"I'm well aware of that," I admitted honestly.
"But I also know there's more good in you than there is bad, Noah."

I loved Noah and Teagan.... They were fitting so good together...

When they let themselves lose they were such sweethearts but the fight between them never stopped and it was adorable in a way...
The things that got on my nerves was that Teagan was so judgemental toward Noah and that she was becoming very often very unfair to him and he didn't deserve it!!!

But i have to admit that when she learned the secrets that Noah was keeping, she had the courage to stay beside him and to fight for him...

Phew!!! For once again, i will say that my heart was aching about Noah's behalf!!!
His life was so unfair!!! And Teagan manage to become his greatest weakness and that wasn't good for neither of them...

Hell, i didn't like the end... I need redemption!!! ASAP!!!!

"Raw lust and anger fuelled inside of me, and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to hit him or kiss him. It was a very unsettling feeling.
"I feel like slapping you and kissing you all at the same time," I admitted in a torn voice. "And it makes me feel crazy, Noah, because I know you hate me…"
"Hate you? I'm fucking lost in you, Teagan," he hissed and I think my heart stopped in my chest.
"You're lost in me?" I asked, barely breathing as my heart thundered against my ribs. "You like me…
"Yeah, Thorn, I do." I felt his touch slip away and opened my eyes. "If any other girl treated me the way you have, believe me, I'd have walked away by now.""

As for the rest of the characters in this book???
The good guys are all the Carters and they were amazing.... I loved all the Carter kids and the parents so much, and i have this feeling that i'm missing something...

To be honest, i was wondering all the damn time why the series was named "Carter Kids" since they were the secondary characters, but i think that near to the end, i understood why!!!

As for the bad guys??? Damn, they were all of them disgusting and hateful....
George, Ellie, that slut Reese, George's son... God what an awful bunch!!!
This George was the King of the bad guys...

As for Noah's mother??? She was equally awful and i got mad with Noah that he was letting them to treat him like that because her mother didn't deserve his devotion...

"Why do I get the feeling that you need someone to fight for you as ferociously as you fight for those men…?"

That book reminded me a combination of favorite book as Bully by Penelope Douglas, Lovely vicious from Sarah Wolf and it was relating with illegal fighting... What else a girl can ask???Ugh???

That's all from me...
I can't wait anymore!!!
I'm running to read the next book...

Reread 02.23.2023 - I can see why I gave it 4-stars. This heroine is pretty annoying and it ends in a cliffy… but I really love Noah 🤷🏼‍♀️ - all the drama is fun!

- Dubcon - the H touches the h without her permission a couple times

I really LOVED this book, I’m a sucker for hate to love relationships! This book had so many cute moments so I was smiling throughout!

To me the hero (Noah) was perfect, I adored him so much! He was very funny and always looking for Teagan which was super sweet. The fighting between the two was great, I think that’s what made it funnier & the chemistry was definitely hot between the two!

I didn’t like the heroine as much for one small reason which was she kept jumping into conclusions without knowing any facts also she kept running after every little fight which was annoying as hell but I really liked her strong/feisty side!

The only thing I have a BIG problem with is the cliffhanger, arrrrrg!

How the hell did we get here?"

"Get where?" Pressing his lips to my throat, Noah ran his tongue over my pulse. "To the point where I can't fucking breathe without you."❤️

This was a high-school bully romance, although I can't quite say the hero was the bully lol. The most harm done was towards him from our heroine. Unfortunately I couldn't love this too much. The bickering, and hate lasted pretty much 85% of the book, and it just felt too long without the romance blooming.

Hate you? I'm fucking lost in you, Teagan," he hissed

And for what it's worth, my in belongs to you," he whispered. You're my thorn," he rasped between kisses. "If you leave me, I'll bleed out."

DNF...The fuck out of this one. OMG the heroine was such a bitch! she was a judgemental cow. This was not a bully book it was more like 2 bitches trying to one up each other for the hero’s attention. The hero was a doormat, he was being pushed around by everyone, eh.....can’t stand weak heroes, sorry not my bag. Don’t waste time on this one...ugh!

I selfish nowadays with my five stars. Considering all the woman in my little family (non family-family included) loved this, it earned it. I'll keep my eye out for book 2 for us.

Positive: The emotion of hate and love being blended so close, it was almost hard to pick the moment when anger turned to list and lust to love.

Negatives: To many absent parents. Bullying being overlooked. No one truly protecting or valuing friendship. Glossing over the last seven years with no clear understanding. Kellie & Reece not getting there comeuppance.

Positive: It's only the beginning... Teens and Noah story will continue in book 2! Plus it's due out this year! Hope the wait is NOT a long one!!!!!! BIG HINT Chloe Walsh!

Ok, people...have you ever seen the movie "Never back down"?
Yes? No? well, nevermind...cause these sequences will show you exactly how i envisioned the characters of this book - the "bad boy"
NOAH MESSINA

ahhh Noah, panties dropping, cocky bastard!

who is a mistery in making, he's scary and broody and violent and tattooed...and he's an illegal fighter
(I think I just lost my shit here!)

BUT he also has a baggage on his shoulders, larger than the airports' access claiming baggage point...and he's just STUCK in the moment, a very dark and shitty moment until he sees her, his next-door newbie, a girl so different and innocent that makes him sick to the stomach and alights the fire within, the fire that was extinguish long time ago...

and she's the "it girl" Teagen Connelly

an Irish sweetie that has her own sad story on her chest BUT she never backs down, her spirit shining bright and strong despite the torment and bullying she endures from the tall, dark and handsome jerk!

ok, in short THIS book is a mash up of Fallen Crest High (Fallen Crest High, #1) by Tijan meets Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1) by Jamie McGuire meets Bully (Fall Away, #1) by Penelope Douglas

if you have read those books you have a pretty good idea what kinda fucked up shit goes around and what the characters are thrown into and what they have to sacrifice to get out of it...

and in between all that shit, they still find each other and fall in love... that, right there, "this falling in love" was so well written I was like: wow!!! just wow!!!!

this is YA, when I do pick young adult to read, i don't do it often (i have a hard time relating with the age difference LOL, no, that is not true actually,) i can jump into any mental level i just need to sniff out the "real deal" that is not sappy or cheesy and this book is everything BUT that

and it could be read as a starter but it's actually a spin off (which I kinda found out in the midst of reading LOL but it didn't bother me, I cought up with all the secondary cast pretty soon)the Broken series Break My Fall (Broken #1) by Chloe Walsh Fall To Pieces (Broken, #2) by Chloe Walsh Fall On Me (Broken #3) by Chloe Walsh Treacherous (Carter Kids #1) by Chloe Walsh

BUT this is first of all, NOAH and TEAGEN's story and it fuckin ends up unresolved...the shit is messy and it needs to be sorted out and now I have to wait for the second book THORN

so in the mean time, I guess I am going back to the beginning...LOL
with the book 1 in Broken series...

"You're my thorn, if you leave me I'll bleed out."

i gate-kept this because i didn’t know if it was worth my time. what i can tell you about this book is:

⁀➷ it’s kinda wattpad-ish—the characters are 17 years old (almost 18), the setting is the classic one (USA), troubled families, bad boy etc. (you get it)
⁀➷ it’s very fast paced, easy to read, perfect to cure a slump
⁀➷ the drama is sooooo american high schooler but it works. it keeps you interested (or at least it did the trick with me)
⁀➷ the characters are likable, but sometimes they pissed me off so bad, they’re kinda childish sometimes?
⁀➷ if you don’t like none of what i just mentioned, then this book is NOT for you

i think this cured my slump a little—i needed something light, entertaining, easy to read, toxic and with drama, and this book delivered exactly that.

"You need to walk away from me, Thorn–before I get addicted."

for those who don’t know:
╰┈➤ teagan just moved from cork to colorado after her uncle max accepted a position as a doctor in the US. she’s been living with her uncle max since her mom died in a car accident and her father was sent to jail.
she just has to finish her last year of high school and move back to ireland to attend uni, she can do it right? nope! the boy next door is treacherous and violent—a criminal in the making but oh, he’s the kind of dangerous that it’s hard to stay away from.

"She's mine," he said in a deathly calm tone as he dragged my hips forward. "And I don’t share."

⁀➷ teagan connolly
i think sometimes she should choose silence over opening her mouth just to give it fresh air. but overall, she’s okay! i liked her better in the second half of the book, that’s for sure.

“Teagan Connolly gave me hope every time she smiled at me, or cracked a joke or played me a song on her guitar. Confidence oozed from her. Her laugh was infectious. I was drawn to her aura. She was gorgeous, stunningly beautiful, but then so were a lot of girls. Looks were a lot of the hunt but they were never the catch. She was the catch. The whole package…”

⁀➷ noah messina
noah is dangerous, violent and tormented. i feel like i know him on a deeper level. his dark past and what he has to endure make you feel for him.

"Noah Messina is all kinds of dark and dangerous, wrapped in the body of a sex god."

their chemistry is undeniable—you could literally feel the tension between them. they’re so toxic i loved their dynamics!!!

"How the hell did we get here?"
"Get where?"
Pressing his lips to my throat, Noah ran his tongue over my pulse. "To the point where I can't fucking breathe without you."

overall, i think that this book is nothing special but it worked for me. i’ll continue the series and see where this is going.
onto the next!!💋

"Noah Messina, you are treacherous," I whispered before crushing my mouth to his.”

“Teagan called me treacherous but she was the one who could shake mountains.”

If I could pick a last meal this book would be it?! Because Chloe knows how to keep a girl well fed !!!! This I genuinely COULD NOT PUT DOWN!!!! This was mysterious tattooed bad boy next door , they “hate” each other and I was livinggggg!!!!
Is it a literary masterpiece?! No but it had serious vibes!!!

There are some issues I had with it, some repo took of sayings, how flip floppy teegs and Noah were , alsoooo Noah calling teeg a bitch I really could have done with out. But I I am overlooking those as I had a lot of fun reading!

Would recommend if you are missing the boys of Tommen and just want to experience Chloe’s books again :)

1 this was so horrible I don’t even know where to begin stars

This is not going to be a pretty review. Let’s just say I tried. I really did. I finished the book so I could understand why the author wrote the they did.

The worst thing for this book was Teagan, the Heroine.

Look I don’t bully books. I like enemies to lovers reads BUT there has to be a balance.

90% of the book was Stupid fighting. Not even cute banter fighting but it’s all misunderstandings. I hate that type of writing. Why would I read a book where the couple fights for almost the ENTIRE book? What’s the point?

Teagan made me want to give this book negative stars.

She’s judgmental. She thinks the hero is a drugie bc he has tattoos and has parties? Ummm ok.

It’s so obvious that the mean girls are doing things to Teagan’s car BUT she blames the hero so many times bc she’s so stupid, immature and CRAZY.

She says stupid stuff and then cries when she gets hurt. There are dangerous men surrounding her and Noah yells at her to get In the car and what does she do? Complain that Noah is bossing her around. Ummm. Are you dumb? Do you want to be raped? This is the 11 hours of listening I endured.

Noah is no gem either. His “secret” the reason why he fights is stupid. Oh my god. There are tons of solutions for him to live a little less stressful life

And can he say something else than say Teagan is a thorn on His side?

Teagan complains about the parties next door and her uncle says wear head headphones? Ummm what? That relationship was exhausting to read too.

There was zero balance of tension.

This type of writing is too much angst. But not the fun kind that makes you want to finish the book. It’s exhausting, kind of lazy and not really reasonable. Let’s write OTT characters that are bat crazy, stupid and so annoying.

This book like the heroine is really tedious and annoying.

I’m not sure I can handle this type of writing.

The final rant. The female’s narrator was so annoying. Going from high pitch Irish voice to middle aged English woman was kind of hard to track.

This was clearly a case of 'Its Not you, It's Me' scenario. In actuality, this book was like a 2 - 2.5 for me, but I've been feeling generous this week & as tis that time of the year for giving & forgiving & all that jazz, I gave it a 3. The plot in itself was not bad although far-fetched in certain aspects of the book.

Noah is an underground fighter, doing shit he does not want to do cos he has no choice. Teagan just moved from Ireland to live with her workaholic uncle after loosing her mom to an accident and her dad ending up on jail for drunk driving. These two start of as enemies to rivals and then to lovers. The book was an average read up until the final chapters where it just turned ridiculous. Teagan was stupid and whiny, a serious 'Thorn in his side' as he likes to comment. I was hoping to see an end to their story but in the end there was just more drama and it ends in a frustrating cliffhanger.

I'm honestly not interested in reading further about Teagan & Noah, sure I liked them but I found their actions or rather their reactions especially Teagan's just plain stupid. Towards the end I was more interested in finding out the back story of Kyle Carter who's story is in Break My Fall which is free on Amazon atm, as of 19/11/2015. So yes, I will be reading other works of Ms Walsh & wish her all the very best. However, it is doubtful if I would have an urge to find out what happens to Noah and Teagan anytime soon. Again, grain of salt theory applies.

Another DNF for me. The promise for me was there, a tortured young girl being bullied by her neighbor until she starts fighting back much to his surprise and delight. Unfortunately I just couldn't connect with Teagan (cool name) the heroine. She started out strong, but slowly started to lose her charm by acting immature and a little judgemental. There were a few times she jumped to conclusions and it drove me nuts. For example (and I believe another reviewer pointed this out):

Teagan who is a musician finds her beloved guitar trashed. So immediately she points the blame to Noah (the Hero) and I literally groaned out loud, because Noah was with her THE ENTIRE TIME they've been gone so it was impossible for him to do it. I should also mention that Noah has a little crazy step sister who would be the obvious culprit but no Teagan is sure that Noah was the vandal.
Ugh. So now I am trapped in this girl's mind listening to her relentlessly blame the poor guy in her inner monologue all the while knowing she is completely wrong. This is just one example of many.

Anyway the blurb in this book reminded me of Bully from The Fall Away series by Penelope Douglas so I went in thinking I was going to get a heroine as bad-ass as Tate but sadly Teagan fell short for me. I don't think I've dislike a heroine more than *cough* Abby Abernathy *cough* but Teagan is a close second.

I just couldn’t anymore😭I tried, I really did, but the more I read this, the more disconnected I became and I do NOT want to get into a reading slump. I’ll be damned if my break from college is just me sleeping and not catching up on my reading list

In terms of dialogue…..no. It’s like the arguments they had kept repeating themselves and then dragged out way too long. Him constantly telling her “You’re a thorn in my side” everytime they argue is just getting old for me and frustrating. It’s like he has no other comeback.

As for the main character….
I feel for her, I really do, but girl if you don’t just listen to this man when he’s trying to help you😭She is just so aggravating, and I was trying to be a girls girl, but she made it so hard.

Overall 2.5⭐️ /5, for decent dialogue and a decent plot.

I stumbled across this book the other day, the cover drew me in. All I thought was wow how SEXY this book was going to be, and me tell you Chloe Walsh did NOT DISAPPOINT.

I'm not going to go into how the story plays out, it says it all in the blurb, everything that you read in the blurb happens, but ten fold. The sexual tension is off the charts... I had to fan my self down at times.

My heart broke for Noah from the first page, what that boy went through was horrible no child should be put through that pain at such a young age, and then have to continue to deal with that pain in their adult years. When you fully understand why he does what he does it really just makes you want to climb inside the book and just love him.

Teagan was so damn feisty I LOVED her she was awesome, she has fast become one of my favourite heroines, she had me giggling, and screaming you GO GIRL so many times She really reminded me of me at times. The girl had fight & that's what I loved about her, she was sexy and she didn't even realise it. She had Noah's head SPINNING...

The ending had me on my TOES I didn't know what the hell happened but it happened, i wanted to shake Noah (even though nothing was his fault) and I just wanted Teagan just to open her eyes, and realise that shit did not go down how she thought it did.

I am DYING Thorn I need Noah back with all his sexiness. God I did love that man.

Chloe Walsh brings a story of heartache, and strength, a story that weaves into your heart and has you wanted so much more long after you have finished. She captures you with her writing. I can not wait to read more from this author. She is brilliant.

To like or not like? Well let's start this intro...
Tegan is A high school senior who has just moved from Ireland. she moved because her mother pasted away and her dad got put into jail for DWI. so her mother brother (uncle) takes her to live to the United States were he will be doing his residency as a ER Doc. Teran moves next door to Noah and his stepfather and stepsister house (neighbors). Were introduced to Noah while he is waking up to find his step sister giving him a hand job.
So Ellie (Stepsis) bully's Tegan because she sees her as a threat..she has a crush on Noah, the back and forth with Tegan was good. Then it switches to drama because she finds out he is a fighter for his step father.:.who beats and torments Noah on a daily basis.
This story was good....had a lot of potential of hating. ....it just didn't not do it for me...but the reason for not giving the full 5 stars is because it left as a cliffy and the author made him sleep with another girl! Total bummer! Such a douche waffle that I'm not going to to read the next! Waaaawaaa! So disappointing! I'm still debating to give it a 3 star but the book generally was okay and the flow was good. So it might be for you! But not for me.

Well, that was.. Exhausting.

Seriously. Reading this book is exhausting. Mostly because I keep waiting for something good to happen but no, nothing happened. In fact, it keeps getting worse. Personally, I enjoyed this kind of plot; where the Hero mercilessly bullying the heroine. I mean, from the amount of Diana Palmer, Lynne Graham and all those classic Harlequin books I've listed, it's obvious that I love reading mean Hero. But this book, what can I say, the plot is good but the execution? Nu'uh.

Teagan has to move out from Ireland due to family issues. Now she live with her uncle, Max, in United States but the thing is, her uncle live next to a crazy family; Ellie, the bitch who always pick a fight in the worst way and Noah, her stepbrother, who hot as hell but also as hot as Jalapeno chili. They both torturing Teagan endlessly and they're not doing it for play. They actually ruin Teagan's life. But what will happen next when Teagan starts to fall with the intense but mysterious Noah?

See? Great plot. Great premise and totally promise me so major angst. I keep expecting something like Neighbor From Hell by R. L. Mathewson. But as the story goes, I started to get agitated:

1. Teagan is super judgmental. And seriously her judging acts are getting on my nerves.

2. Ellie's skanky bitch who gets away with literally nothing.

3. Noah could do so many things to save his a$$, he's over 17 yo fro crying out loud, yet he didn't do shit. He keeps on being a doormat and that, is a big no no for me.

4. There's something seriously wrong with Teagan's uncle.

So yeah. I'm sorry if I'm being annoying but it's true. The storyline went too fast at certain point but then went ridiculously slow. And as much as I like and curious to see how these youngsters' love life goes and ends, I don't think I'll read the sequel because Teagan, Teagan turn me off real bad. I don't think I can recover.

Binding 13 is literally amazing and I can’t believe this is the same author. Like it makes no sense

The frequent switch in POVs distracted me from the story. There was a switch in POVs sometimes in every page. Too many!!! I do not need to know every thought, feeling, and action.

I was unable to connect. Teagan made too many assumptions when it was obvious the jealous step-sister was always at fault.
I don’t understand what Noah saw in Teagan.
I do not condone violence. Teagan would physically attack Noah when he told her he did not do any of the damage. She hit, scratched, and other things. She was not a bad ass, she was just violent. No one should there hands on anyone because they are angry!!!

The story felt as if it was all about assumptions.

What was the deal with the Carter house?? We’re we supposed to think that it possibly haunted since we were informed that some people died and were hurt?!?! Poltergeist?!?!

I can not believe that this the same author that wrote Binding 13!!! Binding 13 was such a great read. I highly recommend that one.

At 34% I could not take anymore. I love friends to enemies stories, but the back and forth has to make sense. This “hate” was manufactured. I know now why Teagan’s boyfriend in Ireland dumped her. She was an annoying, immature brat. Teagan = whinny heroine.

Teagan lives with uncle because her dad killed her mom in a car accident when he was drunk. Uncle had to move Teagan from Ireland to the States because he got a job in Denver.

Reading is subjective. You may like this one.
Good luck.
