⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Sinister, Small-Town Stalker Romance!I absolutely loved You'll Shoot Your Heart Out by Jade D. Hart! Pine Ridge is a small town with the perfect winter wonderland vibes, where everyone knows everything about everybody. But beneath that cozy, snow-covered surface, a dark and twisty story unfolds. Behind the scenes, someone is working tirelessly to rid the town of a darkness lurking just out of sight, and the suspense kept me completely hooked.The dynamic between the main characters is everything you want in a dark romance. Gemma is the ultimate good girl who is tired of being the girl everyone pities. She desperately wants her life to return to how it was before everything changed forever. Then there is Ezra—the dangerously obsessed stalker who keeps showing up for her. He radiates pure "touch her and die" energy, and the twisted gift-giving elements added such a perfect, thrilling edge to his obsession.Jade D. Hart has an incredible gift for turning a feeling into words. She makes her characters incredibly relatable, even in the middle of a dark and intense plot. This book is an absolute must-read if you love morally gray heroes, heavy winter atmosphere, and a romance with a sharp, dangerous bite!

I have the honor of being on Jades permanent ARC team so I was allowed to read this beauty early. All I can say without spoilers is the chemistry and love I feel between these to is so beautiful in such a messed up way. Ezra quickly became one of my favorite MMCs of all time, he’s protective and possessive but also tender and attentive towards Gemma through both words and action. And Gemma my darling girl is such a beautiful mess that you can’t help but love her. You have stalkers, murder, yearning, and it’s all wrapped up in a pretty little bloody bow. A wonderful read once I started it I personally had a hard time putting it down. For me it was a 10/10 for plot and spice, so if you’re looking for a twisted & dark yet somehow festive love story to kick off your holiday reads I’d highly recommend this one!

This is definitely a must read if you’re looking for something quick, straight to the point, and packed with obsession, suspense, romance, and a little Christmas magic with a dark twist! Run, don’t walk, and add this one to your TBR!
I LOVE an obsessed MMC, and of course, a strong FMC, and Ezra and Gemma are exactly that! 🔥 The chemistry between these two is absolutely everything, and their connection and love are beautifully crazy in the best way.
The spice? Top tier. Chef’s kiss! 💋🔥
And Mishka coming into the story at the end made me SO happy! 🥹❤️

You’ll Shoot Your Heart out by Jade D. Hart is not your typical Christmas time story and I love it about that. This story follows Gemma and how can let individuals treat her unfairly/ walk all over her. At a Christmas event Gemma goes into a drawing for a Red Ryder Gun while up on stage something embarrassing occurs and she states that she wants a someone to shoot her heart out. While reading that it caught me off guard because at first I as the reader did not understand what she was asking. However, that statement sat deep with Ezra. Now without giving too much away Ezra slowly unravels Gemma to bring to light a new individual. This story kept me reading well into the night because I could not get enough of the banter, suspense, and spice. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what this author writes next.

This was a great read. I picked it up and had a hard time putting it down wanting to see what was next. Our MMC delivers on those "touch her and die" vibes we all crave and he adds a special twist to his knight in shining armor routine. I enjoyed seeing the FMC's feelings develop from "Oh this is a nice guy," to "what's a little murder when love is part of the picture." I had to take away one star as I found the timeline hard to follow as far as when he first encounters her and the span of time between events. It wasn't enough to pull me out of the story I just had to go back reread some parts for clarity.

This was such a good Christmas dark romance read!
Gemma just wanted to find someone who would
"shoot her heart out," but living in a small town, the dating pool wasn't exactly impressive. Then she meets Ezra, and her life changes drastically. 🌲🔫❤️

Their relationship is spicy, unhinged, and toxic in the best way. I'm here for Ezra and the man he is to Gemma. That level of dominance, while still being rooted in consent? Chef's kiss. 🤌🏼🔥

And Mishka coming into the story at the end made me so happy. We lost our dog last week, so of course I was picturing our Oreo sneaking in and grabbing that Christmas roast. 🥹🐾❤️ It was such a sweet little moment that hit me right in the feels.

This was a short read as first book in A Flixmas Triple Feature Trilogy, which Christmas charm, nostalgia, darker romance, and murder? Gemma seems to have hit rock bottom after a bitter breakup and when she does, Ezra happens to bear witness to it. While the relationship appears to start off as innocent, perfect timing…it turns drastically dark in a short time. Obsession-Jealousy-touch her and die vibes!

Such a fast paced read! Finished in one sitting!
