Paul was born on the beach of eastern Australia and grew accustomed to the free and easy lifestyle of surfing, lifesaving and chasing his sporting dreams. He enjoyed his schooling years though like most of his mates, hated homework preferring his sport each afternoon often claiming the early night.
He did however, knuckle down in the later years of high school and performed diligently to the complete jubilation of his mother and perhaps shock! He graduated and instead of the status quo among his classmates embarking on their university challenges, he discovered a new passion. Bright eyed and hungry for success he couldn’t resist the luring excitement of the Olympics. So the next five years he dedicated his existence to achieving his goal, to become an Olympian and that he did. Seoul became the venue and his dream engulfed him.
Sadly like many professional athletes, injury plagued his training sessions into his tenth year of international racing and ultimately, he had to retire.
So the dreaded question was asked..."hmmm what now?"
He pondered many things but his preferred choice rested with law enforcement. Why? At the time he wasn’t really that sure, just seemed like the best option at the time. He joined the Queensland Police in the autumn of ‘92 and quickly moved into the ranks of Detective followed twelve years later with an unexpected inkling towards criminal intelligence and a transfer to suit. Now he heads up a 12 strong team of intelligence analysts all committed to exposing criminal networks and their wrong doings.
Life in law enforcement opened his eyes to the failings of society and the sadness of humanity. He declares his opposition of many things unjust, the ruthless killing of innocence by those with radical beliefs, the slaying of nature for the progress of greed, inadequate or inappropriate punishments and above all, political corruption.
He is passionate in his beliefs for a better world, a safer place where everyone obeys the law and no one person declares themselves above it. His dislike of corporate greed and corrupt governments frustrates him and he longs for a day when it no longer exists…but of course his job has turned him cynical! How can that happen when the governments and major corporations feed each other?
With all that in mind he set out on an alternate journey, an adventure into the realms of fiction writing though preferring to bend and twist reality into his storylines, taking history and moulding it to suit his creativeness. From the early days of 2010 he unravelled Jeremiah’s Codes and the uprising of a new secret agent hero, Jon Bennett.
Dreaming it was him, Paul stepped from the ledge and free-fell into another world, a place he had no standing or authority, the world of literature. Then the words started to flow and acknowledgment came quick and the novel materialised into print.
Other than all that, Paul is an avid lover of animals, respect and equality. He strives for excellence in all that he does and questions his own abilities never giving up until the job is done. To become a recognised international author is by far the greatest challenge ever undertaken and he openly declares Olympic selection was child’s play in comparison.

Well I just finished this one and I read it non stop for 2 days because I couldn't put it down. It was the best action and suspense ride I've had in a book for a long time. I wont give away what happens because everyone who loves mystery/action type books should read it. The style was easy to read and I loved the short chapters and building of suspense throughout. The description was just enough to place me there but certainly no waffle which I love in a book. I really felt part of Bennett's crusade to find the answers. As someone else has commented, it took hold from the first chapter and made me want more. I really loved the story and the connection to real events and places, that certainly added to intrigue. I give it 6 stars if I could and highly recommend it.

I was recommended this book from a friend outside goodreads and he said it would grab me. Well that it did. I'm not a fast reader and never get a lot of time to read all the time but this one I could not put down. The writing style was very easy to digest and the storyline was brilliant. The author had drawn together various conspiracies and through one main character, Jon Bennett an ex CIA operative revealed a world secret that makes the Nazi's look like angels. Every page made me want more and to find out the answers but it was the twists that had me saying "oh shit" out loud. I'm not one for writing reviews but I felt I had to for this one. I rate it 5 stars for sure, a must read for most. I only hope there is another book coming out to carry on Bennett's life. I need a rest now before reading another book!!!!

Jeremiah's Codes is one of those books that grabs you from the start and keeps you going til the end. There wasn't a flat spot anywhere in it and I like short chapters too. I liked the way the momentum built and how the story built from what you think are unrelated scenes. The style was easy to read and flowed nicely all the way. it certainly was intense in places with action and the torture scenes made me feel the pain. Im not giving away the story but I found myself a part of Bennett's life and if it was me, I'd be a wreck and thats just from the deceit. nice hint of romance too. Anyway I rate it 5 stars and highly recommend it.

Jeremiah's Codes was a brilliant read, thoroughly enjoyable and very fast paced. The storyline yanked me in very early on and ramped up as it went on with plenty of intrigue. I liked that there wasn't any waffle and the description was enough to place me in the scene. Overall it certainly a book I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good mystery action story with plenty of intrigue and also an element of romance building. It I rate it 5 stars and would definitely read it again.

'Jeremiah's Code' is a lengthy novel of over 500 pages and the pace smoothly flows well and straight onto the course of terrorism, corrupt government officials, and disastrous secrets that reveal the end of life on earth as we know it.

Past catastrophic events such as 9/11, and Roswell link a very powerful presence to a conspiracy theory that reveals itself towards a new world order.
But like all great novels, there is always a heroine, and his name is 'Jon Bennett'. A former CIA agent whom is bent on finding out the truth and bringing back the foundation to humanity.

Catastrophes, economic collapse and political pursuits plaque for a dramatic and action packed thrilling journey in a cautious and dangerous fight between good vs evil.
The author leaves nothing but imaginative splendor to us readers as we actively dig a provoking and intriguing novel. Everything we ever knew seems to be connected to all mankind as we follow Jon through a powerful and deadly game.

I finally found some spare time to get back into reading. This was a great one to start on, full of action, suspense and that ever desire to want to know more. I found the easy flowing writing style and indepth plot grabbed my attention from the fist few chapters and only took me a couple of days to finish and late nights. Anyway that's my bit for this one...well worth it if you like the action/mystery type genre.

Jeremiah's Codes
Price: $9.99

'Gentlemen, it will take years perhaps decades to infiltrate/coordinate this attack on society - it starts here, today with you'

Australian author Paul Gilmour, looking like he could be the next James Bond on screen, has that naturally appealing Australian countenance that even before you begin reading his debut novel, and reading a bit about his background makes you ready to jump on his well directed bandwagon. This gentle dynamo has been a professional athlete, becoming an Olympian but succumbed to injury forcing retirement form that passion. So not to be stationary he joined the Queensland Police, moved into the rank of Detective, then moved on to a team of intelligence analysts. Paul had first hand exposure to corporate and government corruption which overwhelmed his passion for his beliefs in a better, safer world, free of those who disobey or think themselves above the law, and it is all of this combined physical and psychological experience that encouraged this handsome stalwart young man into turning his concepts to the pen. And we as readers are the better for his chain of life events and decision to commit his philosophy to paper.

As we might expect after getting to know Paul's background a bit, this book is a hefty volume that artistically written and is so rich in all the aspects that make intrigue/mystery/espionage/apocalyptic expectations/romance novels keep us glued to the story. Somehow he manages to tie all the aspects of known and possible conspiracies into the character of Jon Bennett, an ex-CIA operative who feels oddly similar to Paul Gilmour! That is the kind of personality that takes us through this tale involving terrorism, smarmy corrupt governmental officials, and secrets that seem to warn us of a possible end to the earth.

Using the technique of short chapters, titled by different years and places, makes the story have history and presence, and a foreboding future. First chapter, for example: Alamogordo, New Mexico July 16, 1945 The morning air was still, refreshingly peaceful yet an eerie silence clung to the group of men eagerly gazing towards the north. Most stood impatiently with hands on hips, feverish with anticipation for the event had been four years in the planning. A scorching white flash of blinding light ricocheted out across the flat New Mexico desert as all life perished in an act of merciless incineration. Shielded behind black shades, the onlookers squinted at the ferocity of the blast flare before the desert horizon erupted in shades of crimson red, violet blue, orange and grey that clawed upwards into the heavens above. The shock wave raced out across the desert and like a heavy door slamming in a gale-force wind it slammed unforgivingly into the group. An almighty thunderous rumble shattered the early morning stillness for a hundred miles and the ground beneath the men shook. The scientists scrutinized and examined their lethal beast, their eyes wide from astonishment, excitement and above all, fear. The test bomb had dropped from its cradle six miles away signaling the dawning of the nuclear age... One man of absolute importance mumbled, "Now I have become Death, destroyer of worlds." Operation Trinity had been successful signaling a day of remembrance for many reasons, some the scientists were not afforded the privilege to know... our vision of utopia just became a real possibility but it all hinges on finding the Thirteenth Code.' ... Each of the five men were handed a folder labeled ′Jeremiah′. They all knew what was expected and the importance of their role. ` Now, try to walk away from that opener.

A brief summary of the plot includes`two old men are waging an unusual war against the world. Their new world is rising from the dungeons of humanity but first, millions must die once the last of Jeremiah's Codes are revealed. Only one man can prevent it, a man meticulously forged from a life of murder and deceit at the hands of the US Government for their own sinister purposes. As he evades a persistent enemy with a killing vendetta he is drawn by the seduction of a Washington reporter and together they embark on unleashing the truth.'

They just don't write novels with this powerful thrust anymore, but Paul Gilmour does. He is major and he is here to stay. Step up to the plate! Highly Recommended on all levels.

The story blasts straight in to action in New Mexico 1945, where the world’s first kiloton plutonium atomic bomb is detonated and takes the reader on a nonstop journey up to the present day. This is a terrifying work of fiction that examines in detail the dangers of a number of corrupt government officials, international conspiracies, disastrous events in history, terrifying scientific advancements and the risk of a new world order that threatens to govern the modern world.

The main protagonist is Jon Bennett, who is retired from the CIA and is trying his best to keep off life’s grid until he is forced to flee from Australia from a relentless enemy that will stop at nothing to capture him and administer their own kind of rough justice. But who wants Jon dead so bad? As the highly intriguing plot begins to unravel piece by piece Jon tries desperately to fight for his own survival while he tries to uncover the secrets of “The Trust” who share deep links with global and government organisations that plan to take control of the world. Will Jon’s mission succeed? And if so at what cost? Or will it be too late to save humanity?

Paul Gilmour is an exceptional writer worthy of his craft as he has managed to create a story full of nail-biting anxiety with strong elements of mind bending terror that will leave the reader breathless for the sequel.
