I’m not really sure what to say about this book. I liked the content - the cult aspect was great, and I liked how unhinged Tucker was. I just felt like the whole story was missing something. The relationship between the two MCs was told to us, not shown to us. Forest ran away from the cult, comes back 10 years later, and then he’s just…suddenly with Tucker and becomes leader of the cult. After 10 years of being away because he wanted to be, there was zero thought process on Forest’s part before just being part of it again. There was literally zero relationship development between the two MCs. They were just suddenly…together. I was a little confused for the majority of the book. I think it needed to be longer and more fleshed out. I also noticed a TON of typos and missing words in the kindle version. Not sure if that’s a technology issue or an editing issue.

Logan manages once again to suck you completely into the plot from page one 😤✨ The characters are complex, the relationships are emotional and controversial, and the push and pull between these two was absolutely mesmerising. I could not look away for a single second 🌲🩷
I won't spoil anything — but I will say this: nothing is what it appears to be. Not even close. Be prepared 👀😈
Go read this if you love dark secrets that unravel slowly and devastatingly, a forbidden connection that makes you question everything, and a story that keeps you completely on your toes until the very last page 🌲🔥

I have no idea what the fuck I just read. Absolutely nothing made sense to me. The pacing was off. Like I’m reading then a few pages later it’s 5 months later and that was just thrown in all nonchalantly! Like wtf?
I’m so confused! I did not like this book at all! Loved Broken Highway, but I don’t know what the fuck this was!
Also, what happened to the motorcycle?

ARC READ PROVIDED BUY THE AUTHOR
Wilde Boys is the second book in the cult boys series.
I was gripped through out the book wondering what was going to happen.
It keeps you on the edge of your seat, with a dark mysterious plot that keeps your attention and you don’t want to stop reading.
I loved Tucker and Forest and their story kept me hooked.
Highly recommend
I don’t want to say much that would ruin the plot but it all makes sense In the end.

That darkness he writes slowly but steadily envelops you, until you have no choice but to give in to "it".
And he also has a way of writing helpless and lonely men, broken souls desperate to find love.
Reading Logan is ask out loud "you did what?" and then curse something and answer yourself "but he did, he just did".
This Cult series is so unhinged, so raw, so brutal, so dark, so angsty, it has spice so well written.
You SHOULD check your TW, though. I did... and I am adding this book to my favorites because of those TW.

ARC Review
Holy unreliable narrators…
You know hindsight is always 20/20 so having finished this book; it makes a lot of sense why Logan chose to write this book the way they did. But I have to be honest it was a little hard to get into, especially the first half. Like this is a short book at just 230 pages, but damn if those first 100 pages didn’t feel like 500. So I feel obligated to say that this is a book that requires patience. That’s not to say it’s a slow starter plot wise, because it isn’t. It throws your straight into the mix. No set up, no preamble, and as minimal background as possible is given. Which keeps the mystery of it alive, but also has you feeling lost for a good portion of the book. But the ending is good, when everything comes together the pay off is great.
As for the characters, I have mixed feelings about Tucker and Forest. Both are very fascinating and unique, that’s a non-issue. However, both are also like a pendulum when it comes to their actions and personalities. You never know what they're gonna do next. Which by itself would be fine, but the lack of context the story offers makes it difficult to understand or really develop an opinion on basically anything they do. It made me feel a bit disconnected from the story. We have a few side characters but none of them were really standouts in my opinion; nor did the book really make me care about what they were doing/what happened to them.
I know this review isn’t written in the most positive tone, so I want to be clear when I say do like the book. The premise and plot are interesting, but the execution is rough but ultimately worth the journey. And I cannot praise Logan enough, because I don’t think many authors could pull this type of plot off. As Logan’s writing style had to do a lot of leg work, if this was written by any one less eloquent I don't think I would have made it through.
I think it’s worth giving it a shot. That being said, it’s definitely not going to be for everyone. I can see people DNF-ing which is fair but I also believe that those who see it through to the end and get the full picture will ultimately like the book.

First off check the trigger warnings because this does have dark themes. I enjoy a good stepbrother trope and this did book didn’t disappoint. I didn’t read book one as this is the second book but will be after this. It hooked me from page 1! It's dark and had me on the edge the whole time.

Tucker…oh my. He waited ten years!! He never thought that Forest wouldn’t return. So he waited. Tucker is toxic, possessive, unhinged, and somehow makes it all worthwhile. Actually, the chemistry between Tucker and Forest is toxic but so complex and emotional. The angst, the longing, the love. Their chemistry is so raw and unbelievably hot. I enjoyed reading about them.
The PLOT TWIST! There are so many twists and turns you don’t know who to trust and this will have you guessing the entire book! Such a good book from beginning to end and cannot wait to see what Cult Boys are next. 4/5

Oh you guys are in for a treat! I am still completely blown away by this story. Logan, I did not think you could top Broken Highway (Cult Boys Book 1) which I was completely obsessed with but you did. Now I still love my babies Noah and Seven, but Forest and Tucker🫠🫠. Firstly check the trigger warnings, and tropes. This book is on the darker side and has some..kinks😏😏. I’m not going to get too much into the story, because you NEED to experience the journey Logan takes you on. It starts with Forest being pulled home after 10 years away, and seeing Tucker his stepbrother/BFF and not understanding the pull he has towards him. This story had me on the edge of my seat, through the whole thing. The angst, longing, kinks, mystery, love, and that plot twist!!! Mind fu**ing blown! The ending as well, was just perfect! Thank you @loganriversauthor, for letting me review this. I loved this so much and cannot wait to see what Cult Boys are next🖤

Here we deal with a cult, set up in the wilderness of a mountain in the middle of nowhere, and I have to say that the atmosphere of the book is amazing 🖤
Forest comes back after being away for 10 years, but this is nothing like your usual second chance romance trope. Their love is twisted, raw, complex and ridiculously hot 🥵
But even when memories eluded Forest and nothing seemed to make sense, the pull between him and Tucker was undeniable.
“I’m pulled to you like a magnet, like a force I can’t describe. Like the gravitational pull of your first love, the one you can never really leave behind.”
Tucker is such an interesting character, so very complex. He seems to be in total control of everything, and then he opens from a completely different, vulnerable angle, with his paintings (very interesting type 🤭), with his unrelenting feelings 💔

The plot is very unexpected, at least half the time you’ll be wondering either what does this mean or what’s going to happen now? And while the total length is perfect, I feel like some moments were left unanswered. I’d love to see more of their backstory, on the origins of the cult itself, some more glimpses of their past in general..
I really loved the story, had some Vile Boys’ vibes by Nordica Night at some point 🖤

Tucker is such an interesting character, so very complex. He seems to be in total control of everything, and then he opens from a completely different, vulnerable angle, with his paintings (very interesting type 🤭), with his unrelenting feelings 💔
“You’re my whole world,” his breath is ragged and broken. “It never made sense without you in it.”
The plot is very unexpected, at least half the time you’ll be wondering either what does this mean or what’s going to happen now? And while the total length is perfect, I feel like some moments were left unanswered. I’d love to see more of their backstory, on the origins of the cult itself, some more glimpses of their past in general..
I really loved the story, had some Vile Boys’ vibes by Nordica Night at some point 🖤

Okay, my feelings for this book are a bit mixed... I thought this book started off really strong, I loved how the Wilde's were written as this illusive, mysterious, entity that called its people home and able to lure those who lived there to stay. I thought the whole idea of this story was creative and unique and I really did enjoy reading about these characters and this world Logan created. Where things started to go awry for me was actually the last half of this book...
I really liked the plot twist, I thought it was really great and completely unexpected and honestly very cool to read about. However, I do feel as though that whole aspect of it was really rushed. It felt as though the author wanted to write about that but didn't want the book to be too long and just kinda rushed the whole reveal, which is where this book fell short for me. It was going so well but it was just too rushed at the end! I wanted that reveal to be drawn out a bit more, and I would've loved to see the details behind what happened to be explained a bit more. I liked how the author had little clues sprinkled throughout, but then they didn't go back to fully explain those hints and I think that's where it fell short for me. It just felt like something was missing.

And Tucker… wow. Completely unhinged, obsessive, possessive, and utterly devoted to Forest in the most toxic and addictive way possible. The tension between them was intense from the start and only kept escalating as more truths came to light. Their relationship is messy, forbidden, painful, and so emotionally consuming that I genuinely couldn’t look away.

This book completely pulled me in from the very beginning and did not let go. The atmosphere is dark, unsettling, and addictive in the best way, with that constant feeling that something is deeply wrong beneath the surface of the Wilds. Between the family secrets, cult-like rituals, murder mystery elements, and forbidden tension, I was hooked the entire time.
Forest and Tucker’s relationship is intense, messy, obsessive, and impossible to look away from. There’s so much longing and emotional chaos between them, and every interaction felt charged with tension. I really liked how the story slowly unraveled their past while keeping me questioning what was real, what was forgotten, and what was being buried.
The mystery aspect was also done so well. Every time I thought I had things figured out, the story twisted in another direction. The pacing kept me flying through the pages, and that reveal genuinely caught me off guard.
This is definitely a darker romance, so I’d absolutely recommend checking trigger warnings beforehand, but if you enjoy emotionally intense relationships, unsettling small-town cult vibes, family secrets, and a story that keeps you guessing until the end, this one delivers. And honestly, that ending was perfect.

I don't think a book title has ever been more accurate than this one haha. Because these boys were, in fact, WILD. From the first page, I knew that I was going to devour this book! It just sucked me right in. Honestly, the vibes were all there; it was gritty and dark and definitely spicy, but there was also this ethereal feeling throughout the story that I just loved. It really gave me goosebumps.
Our two main characters really had me in a chokehold. Forest being such a needy bottom was the cherry on top of an already amazing story! He was a very fun character to read about. He was actually pretty relatable in his coping mechanisms. Now Tucker was definitely an interesting character. He had this eerie feeling to him that really contributed to the overall vibe of the story. I loved them together so freaking much; with all the mystery and danger surrounding them, I'm glad they had each other.
This book really had just the perfect amount of mystery, tension, and romance. I was so intrigued the whole time, just wondering what in the world was going on. I have once again fallen in love with Logan's characters. I LOVE THEM, YOUR HONOR.
Forest and Tucker - oh, do I have a lot to say about you. Tucker is murderous. He's unintentionally hilarious. He is a c*m artist (it'll make more sense once you read). You cannot help but love him despite his "flaws" (I'd argue they aren't flaws but traits that are a product of his environment). He feels deeply for one person - Forest. He had to see him leave once but will not let him leave again. And despite all Forest has been through, he doesn't want to leave. Not Tucker. Not now that they've figured out this thing between them. And let me talk about Forest while we're on the subject - Forest is our submissive bad ass with a proclivity for tattoos and piercings. He is bratty when he needs to be and will only listen to one man. And you guessed it, that man is Tucker.
This story isn't just about love and romance. It's a whodunit with twists and turns. You never know what to expect and are suprised often. The ending... OH THE ENDING. *chefs kiss*

This was a ride from beginning to end. I had so many questions and more than one WHAT?! moment. The family secrets go deep, the obsession is thick, and there was enough tension to keep me on my toes from start to finish. For all of their crazy moments that kept me guessing, they also had me smiling over the surprisingly tender moments. Now I need to go back and read Broken Highway asap.

This was quite the “Wilde” story, it has mystery, death, family drama, and lots of spice. Forest and Tucker are both broken and toxic but somehow make it work despite that. Tucker has lived without his only love for 10yrs in the wilds but Forest can’t remember the time before he left that hell. Seeing these two men fight their demons and each other was gripping. My heart hurt for them both because they were hurting but couldn’t seem to stop the madness. Even with the constant chaos around them they couldn’t stay away from one another. Love doesn’t always look the same, but I think they did the best way they knew how. Their love was raw, animalistic and needy. Sometimes love is pain, especially in their case. Forest and Tucker finally find their happiness in the end with each other and learn to live for themselves. Overall I enjoyed this book and how it really draws you in so you don’t want to stop reading because you have to know what happens next. I appreciate the author allowing me to read this in advance.

This is one of those books that you feel like you're missing something for a big chunk of the book. But when you get to end you understand the why. I honestly thought of stopping but I am so glad I didn't. It was completely pulled together at the end which honestly made it that much better.

This book follows Forest and Tucker. Two stepbrothers bound by a dark past and present. Forest is the chosen heir of the Wilde family, he escaped the cult like community of the Wilds ten years ago when he wanted to leave his past behind. When a near death experience and a mysterious letter force him to return home, he finds himself face to face with his stepbrother who is determined to not let him go again.
Tucker and Forest are both complex and interesting characters. Both are traumatized and struggling to navigate the Wilds and their growing attraction towards each other. Forest is hardened by the outside world, full of tattoos, he however also managed to shows his vulnerable side. I think that is beautiful. I think both characters where very appealing and interesting. I loved how these boys found themselves but also each other.
I think the world that was build in the book was detailed. The different rituals within the Wilds, the lore, but also the way the forest is described. Very well done.
The way the book is written is with an engaging writing style. The book is full of snappy dialog and the pacing is fast. This is one of those books that you don't want to lay down.
I think the plot was a very interesting one. One that I did not see coming! So if you fancy a dark story with a couple of twist.... This is your next read.

This book... all the tropes that I LOVE... perfection. I went into this book pretty blind besides the tropes. I was locked in from page one. Is it a cult? Is it entirely psychological? I haven't read something like this in a hot minute where I was guessing the entire book. Truly had no clue where it was going through over 50% of it.
It was captivating, creepy, and all too real. Forest and Tucker are complex. The push and pull had me sat. Tucker is a murderous, but actually funny character. Forest is a black cat who listens to no one... except Tucker 😈
I can't say anything else, except nothing is as it seems. And be prepared for a wild ride.

First off, what a ride this book was! I enjoy a good stepbrother trope and this did not disappoint. It had some dark themes so check trigger warnings and tropes list, but they are written so well into the story and just worked for the plot to push the main narrative of living in a cult, deception, and secrets of people you thought you could trust.
All the secrets, lies, and the twists that unfolded, each one made my jaw drop each time! I loved how that even though Tucker and Forest hadn’t seen each other in 10 years, there was still a love between them-even though it took a little longer for Forest to realize it, it continued to grow as they navigated their life within the walls of the Wildes and outside of it. And the spice, although, not too important or the main focus of the story, was just so good! Such a good book from beginning to end and I enjoyed every second of it!

He is living a somewhat good life albeit his memory is very spotty. The note just says "the Wilds are calling you home". What happens when he goes home will he remember what Tucker means to him. Grab your copy May 26 and meet these two men and the place they call home.

I love everything Logan has written - he does it so well. The series is "Cult Boys" so you know there is a Cult aspect. This one was definitely different. There was so much mystery from the very beginning, but I wanted Forest to find out his answers. Tucker was enigma. I wasn't sure how to feel about him for awhile, but he won me over. Watching the 2 of them figure everything out was a fun ride. I feel like there was so much packed into such a short amount of reading, I wish we'd gotten just a little bit more explanation on some things, but I'm greedy. :) I enjoyed getting to know these guys and seeing how they navigated everything within the cult and without - Tucker was adorable asking what everything was. Also a fun cameo from Noah :) Can't wait to see where Logan takes us next. How many crazy cults can there be? (don't answer LOL)

When an unexpected events leads Forest home he must face the past that he can’t remember and uncover the truth that midnight talks about.
The setting for this book being the Forest only adds to the story.
The spice was well placed and just dark enough to keep you coming back for more.
Forest and Tucker start to become close but as people start to die and they feel as though they are being hunted something must be done.
This stand alone book does well to bring you through to the end.

This is my introduction to Logan, and it definitely won't be the last book I read. This book is book 2 in his Cult Boys, and it was crazy and insane and hot all at the same time. The two MMC (Forest and Tucker) are toxic AF, but they are meant to be together.
They were raised in a cult setting, and Forest left 10 years ago. In that time, Tucker had taken over and basically was taking care of everything, so when Forest came back, it was ready. There is a lot of killing in the name of the Wild. There is a lot of drama, and someone is pissed over the killing and trouble from the past. "One by one, the Wildes all fall down."
All in all, I gave this book a 4.5 ⭐️ this book has everything you could ever want in an MM book
