Good clean mystery

I always enjoy a book MUCH more when it doesn't contain filthy language and doesn't use unnecessarily raunchy sex to try to sell books. This is the first of the series I have read and look forward to reading more from this author. I think there were parts of the book that were unrealistic and I didn't get a feeling for the relationship between the two main characters. Seemed kind of stiff and sort of cold, really. I also thought it odd that ALL the characters spoke perfect grammar and talked way above what I would guess these people would really talk. Many were low life characters and their English language and grammar should have reflected their "lack of refinement" should have reflected that in order to make the book more believable. But other than those criticisms, I found the book interesting.

Good, exhilarating story.

This book is for the Jack and Annie followers. They always solve conflicting, challenging case. But they get hurt in every book. Maybe they should leave beautiful Canada and move to USA, so they can carry gun, pepper spray and all the others that they can't carry in Canada. Cell phone in the dumpster or with Annie? That didn't made any sense. You'll love all the books in this series. Can't wait for the next book, Silent Justice.

Personal Justice

It's always a reading pleasure when you follow the crime fighting adventures of Jake and Annie Lincoln. In spite of the many twists, turns and surprises they always win against the bad guys, especially with the help of their friend Detective Hank Corning.

Another good Jake & Anne story, just not a page turner. Hill does manage to write with just enough detail but not too much. It surprise me that Jake doesn’t carry. I can’t remember back but I believe he did before. When Anne gets that call from Geekie, how does she not exit the room? Anne manages to get kidnaped and then it all works out. Not the most exciting story by Hill but still a good read. 4.6

The wife of a murdered man hires Jake and Annie Lincoln to find her husband's killer. All of the evidence seems to point to one suspect, an ex-con who was in prison at the same time as the murdered man was, several years previously. But when the suspect is also murdered, Jake and Annie have to re-evaluate the evidence ...

Another exciting Lincoln Investigation thriller

Annie and Jake pick up another case that is in the news. Problem is, now they are getting shot at. Who killed whom and who is after them and why? Interesting case that the Lincolns manage to solve although it's dangerous.

'Personal Justice' took me on an action and suspenseful ride. The storyline was great. In true Jake & Annie Lincoln fashion, they were neck deep in trouble. The characters were a great cast of personalities. Jake and Annie, as always, we're great leads. Annie is constantly proving how strong she is, both mentally and emotionally. Her thought process amazes me. I have read and loved the previous books in the 'A Jake & Annie Lincoln Thriller Series' and I look forward to reading more. A great add to your tbr list.

Justice prevails

Jake and Annie Lincoln are my favorite P I s. If you like a good who really is the killer then "Personal Justice" is a good book for you. The Lincolns are usually just a step behind the culprit. On this case however there seems to be more suspect s than normal. As usual Annie is in the midst of it all. Will the Lincolns and the the police figure out the case before more innocent people die. Read on people read on

“Never a dull moment”

This is the first Annie and Jake Lincoln thriller I have read. I look forward to picking up another one soon. The duo have their work cut out in this tale, but at least they have Detective Hank Corning to help them out. A clever story premise, well handled police procedures, the odd red herring and a neat twist that definitely lifted this novel above the norm.

A typical husband and wife PI story where neither one of them carry a weapon yet willingly engage in murder investigations where their lives will be in imminent danger. This may just be my personal opinion but I can't suspend my disbelief far enough to believe that two rational people would act that way. I will not be reading any more books in this series.

Excellent mystery.

So far, my favorite in this series. Would have given it 5 stars, but there were about 1/2 dozen editorial errors. I enjoyed being surprised several times in this book.

This is the second of the Jake and Annie Lincoln mysteries that I have read, and I have liked the treatment of both. The characters are believable, and the suspicions raised are supported, and the final outcome is surprising but not totally unbelievable! Great book!

Another who-dun-it in a series starring a married couple as the detectives. Good main characters, nice working ethic (works closely with the police force) and a good plot.

Keeps your attention. Rainy day filler. Had it figured out pretty quickly. Then needed to find out how they took down the woman.

Personal Justice

Unexplainable deaths with evidence planted on a suspect. A kidnapping of a P.I. reveals the perpetrator. Good ending. Nothing is as it seems.
