Roped in Rawhide: An Enemies to Lovers Small Town Romance

There’s no fixing what he broke…

Gemma
Accidents happen and mine took me out of the race.
After months of recuperation, I’m finally ready to get back in the saddle. But the rodeo circuit isn’t what it used to be.

Chance Benson isn’t either. The broody cowboy I once considered my best friend seems more interested in riding buckle bunnies than broncos. His reputation is a scandal I’ve unsubscribed from.

At least until the truth comes out. What Chance really needs is a lesson in love. Maybe I can find it in my broken heart to teach him.

Chance
I’m in love with my best friend. Actually, scratch that. Gemma Keaton considers herself more of an enemy these days, which I accept full responsibility for.

It was a gamble and I ended up losing it all. Well, everything except my virginity. That I’m saving for Gemma. She just has to forgive me first.
Or maybe not.

As it turns out, my former friend is very interested in being my first. The only catch? Gemma refuses to be more than that.

I’m nothing if not up for a challenge, but the stakes are higher than ever. Especially when the past is determined to destroy us.

It comes down to proving myself and this time, I won’t let anything stop me from claiming Gemma as mine.

Roped in Rawhide is a:
childhood best friends to enemies to lovers
grumpy cowboy x sunshine cowgirl
he falls first
virgin hero
scarred heroine
it's always been you
small town romance

I read this is one sitting! My heart broke for these two ex best friends but watching them get their second chance was worth it.

I loved watching Chance win back the love of his life. His methods were unconventional (light stalking and some breaking and entering) but so perfect. Gemma tried so hard to guard her heart and I didn't blame her. There was a lot of hurt to work through and work through it they did.

If you love banter, second chances, blush inducing spice, and feel good vibes, you definitely need this book!

Book 4 in the Cloverleaf Meadow Series & it was fantastic!!!
Childhood friends to enemies to lovers & they didn’t stay enemies for long & I loved it more because of that … plus no 3rd act breakup🙌🏼🙌🏼
Loved Chance & Gemma’s journey back to each other, especially Chance with his own special way of grovelling & message chats😂😂
Great series all round!

Roped in Rawhide: An Enemies to Lovers Small Town Romance by Harloe Rae
Rating: 5.0⭐️
Spice: 4.25🌶️

If you want a book that will have you grinning from ear to ear while swooning, yet fanning yourself like a sinner in church, get ready for Roped in Rawhide! Chance and Gemma’s story made me laugh, it made me tear up at times, and it definitely made me smile. I liked how both characters really had to work on themselves and with each other to repair their friendship first before they started a relationship. The emotional depth of Gemma, Chance, and their friendship was incredible, and it had me in a chokehold from the very first page. The spicy lessons were not only extremely hot, but I loved how they were also thoughtfully written with tenderness sprinkled in that makes readers reflect that this is two best friends connecting after heartbreak and so many years apart. Roped in Rawhide is perfect for cowboy romance lovers, but it’s also just a beautiful romance in general that I think everyone will love. Harloe really outdid herself with this one!

Thank you to Harloe Rae Candi Kane PR, and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

We can always count on this crafty wordsmith for a phenomenal read, but this second chance romance exceeded any exceptions I might have thought to have. The banter between these two life-long friends had me grinning and laughing at the same time the ol’ heartstrings got a workout from the angst and emotion.

Chance and Gemma had been friends forever and were in the process of their nascent love becoming more. Until he ruined everything. Now Chase is back, and he's determined to win Gemma's heart, no matter the effort it takes or the personal cost to him.

Gemma sure doesn’t make it easy. Our girl is stubborn as a mule and can hold a grudge for longer than elephant can remember. I have to say, I was enjoying her resistance a little too much, because the scenes between them before she gives in are some of the best writing I’ve ever read in romance. She sure makes Chance work for it.

And Chance. This guy is a Golden Retriever mixed with Pitt Bull, and his determination is unmatched. A charming, unrepentant rule-breaker, he's not above some truly horrendous groveling, a little stalking, and perhaps bending the law to suit him if it means winning back his girl. But he's also mindful of the hurt he caused, and protecting Gemma's heart is his top priority.

I swear, this is some of the most fun I’ve ever had reading a romance. Sure, the small-town, country setting and familiar, recurring characters make it feel like home, but Chance and Gemma lit up the page and left my heart grinning. Charming and humorous but full of heat and heart, this is one you'll want to add to your TBR ASAP.

Who can really be blamed for their stupidity at eighteen?

Chance and Gemma have been best friends until he screwed it all up and decided to not turn their friendship into more at eighteen when his mom left the family. Now, seven years later, Chance really wants his chance with Gemma and isn't sitting back anymore. He's pretty pathetic in his attempts at winning her back and showing how much she means to him until he takes advice from her sister and cousin, and the gestures become real rather than stalker-ish. Now Gemma has to decide if she'll risk her heart again, or keep him at arm's length?

Chance and Gemma get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.

These two! While I hated what Chance did to Gemma, and understood her reaction completely, who makes good decisions at eighteen when their whole world is flipped upside down? I do wonder if Chance let the rumors about him circulate more in the early days to hurt Gemma more or to keep his name in the front of her mind. Though they had to start somewhere, so where did they start, and why didn't Chance do anything about them if what he claimed was true? I do wonder how much longer buckle bunnies were a problem for them, or if Gemma going out after his win helped stave them off.

I received an advance review copy from The Smuthood Promo, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Shoo Wee! This Breaking Barriers & Boundaries That This Amazingly Talented Author Has Developed Will Hopefully Land Her A Best Seller Award! She brings her sense of humor, a best friend, her horse and a hilarious, real life conversation about an ergonomic bucket with her husband into this book, which makes us fall more in love with these characters because of how realistic they actually are. Roped in Rawhide is beautiful inside and out and it's the fourth book in the small town Cloverleaf Meadows series by Harloe Rae. It's a Childhood best friends to enemies to lovers, a scarred heroine, a virgin hero who is no "One Splooge Wonder" and the witty banter is top shelf that leads to explicit spice then ends with a HEA. Please do yourself a favor a download this book on release day, especially for the he falls first, it's always been you aspect and there may be a secret tattoo.

TW: Childhood trauma (off page), stalking, breaking & entering, jealous, possessive, touch her & die vibes, explicit sex scenes, car accident, scarring.

I would like to Sincerely Thank Harloe Rae for my ARC and in return I voluntarily promised an honest review.

Chase Benson and Gemma Keaton where best friends until they knew they wanted more at the age 16, then he broke her heart in the worst way and she's hated him ever since.

Gemma is back home and Chase can no longer be without her. He made her hate him, gave himself a bad reputation and will grovel to get her forgiveness until she agrees to be his girl again.

Chase isn't very good at the groveling but when Gemma finds out that his reputation is false she's more than willing to give him love lessons without any strings and he's willing to get on his knees and be told what to do.

Gemma plans on no strings but his devotion and her heart will prove that soul mates will always find there way back to each other.

I received an ARC of this book, all thoughts are my own.

I did not like cowboys until Harloe Rae. She absolutely understood the assignment with Roped in Rawhide! This book gave me butterflies, had me laughing like a fool, tugged at my heartstrings and had me needing to cool off more than once. Chance and Gemma brought ALL the feels, and I was completely invested in their story.

The only thing I had issue with? ALL THE BENSONS ARE NAMED WITH Bs EXCEPT CHANCE. Brody. Bianca. Byron. hahaha I know it's a silly thing.

What made this romance stand out to me was that their happily ever after wasn’t something they could just jump into. Before they could become something more, they had to face their past. Chance had to grovel. Gemma needed to figure out how to trust Chance again. Watching them put in the effort to rebuild what they’d lost made their connection feel so much deeper.

And the chemistry? GOOD LORD. The steamy moments definitely brought the heat, but what I loved most was the emotion woven into them. There was so much care, vulnerability and tenderness behind the passion, making those scenes feel meaningful rather than just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could feel the history between them in every interaction and that made their intimacy all the more powerful.

I went into this expecting a cowboy romance, but I came away with so much more. Chance and Gemma’s story is about second chances, rediscovering someone you never truly stopped caring about and realizing that sometimes love is worth fighting for all over again.

Whether you're here for swoony cowboys, scorching chemistry, emotional depth or a best-friends-to-strangers-to-lovers romance that makes you feel EVERYTHING, Roped in Rawhide deserves a spot on your TBR. Harloe delivered a story full of fun, spice and devotion - and I loved every minute of it!

Harloe Rae knows how to make a romance feel like more than just two people falling for each other. Roped in Rawhide pulled me into its world and kept me invested in the story. I love when a book makes me want to keep reading just to see how everything is going to play out, and this one delivered that can’t-put-it-down feeling for me.

What makes a romance memorable is the way it gets you emotionally invested, and this was such a fun book to get lost in. Harloe has a way of making romance addictive, and I finished this one appreciating the ride she took me on. If you’re looking for your next romance read, this one deserves a spot on your list!

(⭐️ 1/5) I could barely get through this. The characters felt extremely juvenile & their relationship initially didn’t have enough background to create any sort of connection to them. Chance was… a lot to say the least. This was just a lot of cringe for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This is the fourth installment in the series, and I HIGHLY recommend starting with the first book. I felt a bit confused at times, as I wasn't certain if I had missed out on the characters' background or if it was covered in the earlier books.

I appreciate Chance's attempts at groveling, even though he doesn't excel at it. Gemma's heartbreak from losing her best friend adds depth to her character. I admire how she doesn't rush to let him in, instead gradually lowering the bricks around her heart.

Thank you for this amazing opportunity to read the eARC, and I am happy to provide my honest review in return.

Sometimes the road back to love is messy, hilarious and completely worth the effort.

Chance and Gemma had me smiling at their banter, and seeing them slowly find their way back to what they lost was so satisfying. You could feel how much their friendship meant to them, which made their second chance even sweeter.

Chance was such an interesting male lead to read about! His attempts at winning Gemma back were definitely unconventional, and some of his antics had me laughing. Gemma wasn’t about to let him off the hook easily, and honestly, I didn’t blame her. Watching him put in the effort while she slowly let her guard down made their journey feel earned.

The chemistry was fantastic, and the steamy scenes came with plenty of tenderness that made them even better. Add in the small-town charm, the playful banter and the fact that we get a happy ending without an unnecessary third-act breakup, and I was one happy reader!

A little messy, a lot steamy and full of the small-town charm I enjoy in a romance.

A sincere thank you to Harloe Rae and The Smuthood for the ARC! 🥰📚

2.5 ⭐️

This was a somewhat cute second-chance romance, but unfortunately, I found myself wanting a lot more from this story.

From the very first page, we’re thrown straight into things without much background or context. I would have loved more insight into Gemma and Chance’s history, all we had was a brief flashback to the moment Chance fucked their friendship up. I also wanted to know more about Gemma’s accident and what led to her coming back home. I think having that extra depth would have helped me connect with the characters and understand their relationship a lot better.

Chance certainly wasn’t subtle in his attempts to win Gemma back. While I could appreciate his determination, some of his efforts felt a little OTT and juvenile at times, which made it harder for me to take certain moments seriously.

I also struggled a little with the way Chance’s intentions came across. When he tells Gemma that he’s a virgin and wants to lose it with her, it felt like the focus was more on finally sleeping with her, much like he wanted when they were eighteen, rather than showing her that he genuinely wanted a future with her. I know he did want a relationship, but there were moments when his words gave off the complete opposite impression, which left me feeling a little conflicted about his intentions.

There were some cute moments, and I can appreciate what the author was trying to do with this second-chance romance, but I just needed more depth, more emotional development, and a stronger foundation for their relationship.

Overall, it was an okay read, but it unfortunately didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Thank you for the ARC.

This story will renew your faith in forgiveness, faith and love. These two have loved each other for years, yet due to his own personal circumstances, home life and wrong decisions led him to think he was doing the right thing. This story has become a favorite of mine due to Chance needing to prove his commitment to Gemma, and if she can open her heart to forgive. Beautiful story, loved it.

Definitely better than the last book in the series, which I rated 1/5, but unfortunately, I still struggled with both the storyline and the main characters, Gemma and Chance.

I couldn't really connect with either of them, and their reconnection felt forced rather than natural. I wanted to believe in their relationship, especially with their history as childhood best friends, but the romance just didn't convince me. Their feelings and the progression of their relationship didn't really land for me, which made it difficult to get invested in their story.

Overall, this was an improvement from the previous book, but I still couldn't fully enjoy it. I think the premise had potential, but the execution just wasn't for me.

Thank you Harloe Rae for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Gemma and Chance were true childhood best friends, and were planning on it being a forever friendship. There was some mutual pining going on that looked to be realized and acted upon. Then Chance pushed her away and Gemma reacted in kind. Now though, he wants his girl back. Thanks to a few talks with people who love them both, he knows just trying to talk her into forgiveness isn't cutting it. Groveling. Grand gestures. Putting his heart on the line. Once he deploys these, Gemma just may find it impossible to hold onto her anger and hurt, and allow him back into her own heart.

These best friends turned enemies turned lovers were so much fun to read. Gemma and Chance had so much to work through, a lot of pain and anger, but there was a lot of love there too. Chance's ways of getting back his girl were hilarious - some breaking and entering, perhaps following (stalking) her around, annoying her, but ultimately finding his way back into her good graces. And whew, the uh lessons? Talk about 5 alarm hot! I adore this sweet, funny, delicious, and heartfelt journey back to to love.

Thank you to Harloe Rae for letting me have an ARC copy!!! I'm tryna get into cowboy romance books right now, so this was the perfect excuse to start <33 I also REALLY loved this book. Finished it in less than a day because I LOVED IT! REALLY FUCKING LOVED IT!

So, anywayyyyyyy, Gemma and Chance used to be inseparable until he ruined their friendship and broke her heart. Almost seven years later, he's trying to win her back, but Gemma isn't making it easy for him. And honestly, I don't blame her because WHAT HE DID?? NAHHHH BROO 😭

I really liked Gemma! She's stubborn, sarcastic, and actually makes Chance work for forgiveness instead of immediately giving him another chance. I also loved seeing her rebuild her confidence after her accident and get back into barrel racing. As for Chance, I wasn't expecting the whole playboy-but-actually-a-virgin twist, especially when he's been saving himself for Gemma all these years. I meaaaan, some of his attempts to win her back were genuinely cute, especially the childhood references and everything with the meadow!

Their banter was definitely a MAJORRR highlight for me. So, we have Gemma constantly giving Chance a hard time while he just goes along with it was so fun to read, and their chemistry was SO GOOD (i mean, i would HOPE so). I also really enjoyed the rodeo setting, with Gemma's barrel racing and Chance's bronc riding giving them their own things outside the romance. The spice was great, too, and I loved having an inexperienced hero for a change!

My only issue was that Chance could be a little ridiculous (trust. just a little. definitely not underplaying it by like.... a LOT) sometimes. 😭 I meannnn, I get that he wanted to make things right, but he really needed to give Gemma some space now and then. The back-and-forth also got a little repetitive, and I wish they'd just communicated instead of dragging certain things out, but that's really it. Like, THE ONLY negative thing in this book. I get that it's what happens in real life, but when you read about it, it kinda infuriates (okay, exaggeration, but wtv) you.

Still, I had such a good time with this one! The romance, humor, drama, and spice made it a really fun read, and their childhood history made seeing them find their way back to each other even sweeter.

Overall, 4 stars from me! I mean, Chance definitely tested my patience a few times, but I still loved watching these two find their way back to each other. (and i loved this book soso much that i COULD not put down my kindle istg)

I love the Cloverleaf Meadow series and Roped in Rawhide will ripe you in and have you tide up in Gemma and Chance’s journey. These two were thick as thieves until one decision changed their path and ruined what they had. Now years later, Chance is trying to prove to Gemma they’re meant to be and he’s serious about, no matter the rumors that’s fly around about him. Gemma is a head strong, independent woman, who wants nothing to do with Chance, but is everywhere and anywhere she goes. These two are oil and water, until they eventually stick like glue to each other. The journey they take us on a heartbreaking, beautiful, and has you rooting for them to figure things out before it’s too late. I could not put this book down, I had to know if Chance and his charming, sweet, meaningful moves would finally win Gemma over and give them the chance they never got. Loved this characters!

I really enjoyed this, story - a tale of childhood sweethearts that split apart due to bad decisions, and the fight to restore the relationship. Heartwarming with some humour, there were some lovely moments and the ending was super sweet!

Chance is a big dumb softie who audaciously blunders his way through trying to win back the affections of his childhood sweetheart. I personally found him to be very endearing because of his over-the-top professions of love and the insanely amusing lack of boundaries he has (since this is a romance, and we make allowances for some things.... in actual life I'd suggest calling the police because he's WAAAAY out of line! :P ), I felt sorry for him, and I loved him as a character - but I can see how if you don't vibe with him you could find him offputting.

Gemma is scarred (physically and emotionally), and struggles with wanting the childhood sweetheart she once loved, but not being able to forgive him breaking her heart - and I can't blame her for being massively pissed off at him for pretty much everything. I could sympathise with her struggles, even though I felt she was a bit hard on Chance at times, it would be heard to open yourself up and risk being hurt again.

I was a bit disappointed we didn't get closure on the , I felt like we were missing some details with that whole thing, but I guess it's not really important to the story (maybe it'll be addressed in a later book, I don't know).

I have to highlight one of the funniest lines that had me actually laugh out loud.
"Saddle up soggy tits. You'll air out that gritty cooch along the way."
(Call me weird, but that just tickled every funny bone in my body! - hilarious! :D )

Also this line nearly ended me:
"Can I hold your hand, Wildflower?"
(So simple, yet so sweet and vulnerable - swoon!)

I cannot get enough of these Benson boys! From their stubbornness, to being a broody cowboy, to giving off stalker tendencies but in such a cute and protective way, they have my heart and have me giggling at some of their antics.

From the beginning, you knew Chance was going to not just grovel but work his butt off to get back into Gemma’s good graces and earn not just her friendship back! For crying out loud, the man ruined by best thing that ever happened to him when he took a note from his mother and he let it turn his life upside down! For seven years, he has been lost without his best friend, the one who understood him, who would meet him in the meadows.

And my girl Gemma! She is a firecracker but tried so stinking hard to stand her ground when it came to Chance. She was bound and determined to hate him forever but he knew of ways to break down her walls and always be near her. Even if his methods were WAY past conventional at times!

I have loved every couple that has come out of Cloverleaf Meadows but there was something about Chance and Gemma. They had me giggling out loud, wanting to thump Chance between his eyes at time, throwing my fist in the air a time or two for what Gemma standing her ground, but also swooning at the ways Chance was working so hard to not just be in Gemma’s good graces, but show her that she was his one and only (even though her royally screwed up years ago).

Though each book in the Cloverleaf Meadows is truly a standalone, to get the full back history of all the side characters, it is best to start with the first book in this series. The drama that unfolds will make SO much sense when you get the full history of the small town and how everyone is connected.

I received Roped in Rawhide as an ARC and provided a review willingly.

Chance is desperate to get Gemma back. They were friends once, a friendship that Chance ruined when he not only stood Gemma up but turned up hours late with someone else on his arm. He had his reasons, but years later, Gemma still doesn’t trust him. Chance, however, isn’t about to let that stop him. He’ll even break into her house if necessary…

Initially, this seems like a straightforward storyline. But not every MC is prepared to go as far as Chance, and he’s lucky that Gemma lets him as there’s still a spark there. He turns up everywhere she goes and won’t take no for an answer. If it had been me I’d have run away screaming, but this is fiction and Chance obviously succeeds in the end!

I sometimes felt like I’d missed something while reading this book. Chance is extremely well off and there’s beef with his parents - his mum left when he was a teenager - neither of which are explained. Perhaps this is done in Book 1, which I haven’t read? Either way, this was confusing at times. Chance also comes across as desperate, eager, horny, and even puppy-like at times, and his inability to listen to ‘no’ wasn’t really my thing. That said, if this is what Harloe Rae was going for then she certainly succeeded!

The spice scenes were good, but Chance’s attitude and apparent ability to pretend he had loads of experience when he didn’t at all (nothing wrong with that, the contrast was just enormous) didn’t fully work for me. I generally liked the book though so if a super golden retriever MMC (who listens just as badly as the real dogs do!) is your thing then I recommend you read this book.

This was my first time reading Harloe Rae, and let me tell you, I am definitely going to be reading more! A cowboy second-chance romance featuring childhood friends with a past? Sign me up! ❤️‍🔥

Chance and Gemma’s story had everything I love in a romance: banter, humor, spice, a slow burn, and plenty of swoon-worthy moments. The chemistry between these two was fantastic!

Chance is stubborn, a little grumpy, funny, and persistent. When he decides he wants Gemma back, he is willing to do anything and I mean **ANYTHING** to win her heart again. The groveling? YES, PLEASE! 🤠🔥

Gemma is funny, stubborn, strong, and independent. She is trying to heal from the hurt of their past, and I loved watching her navigate those feelings while figuring out what she really wanted.

There were so many hilarious moments, especially with the nostalgic words and phrases that had me laughing out loud! 😂 And can we talk about **the dinner scene?!** 🥵🔥 Definitely one of my favorite spicy moments!

I also loved the twist thrown in at the end. It was such a great addition to the story! This book kept me turning the pages long past when I should have been sleeping. You know it’s a good one when you keep telling yourself, “Just one more chapter!” 😂❤️‍🔥

Thank you, Harloe Rae and The Smuthood, for allowing me this superb reading opportunity!

I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Roped in Rawhide: An Enemies to Lovers Small Town Romance Book 4 in the Cloverleaf Meadow Series.

Harloe I’m not sure what kind of sorcery you put in this book, but it was magnificent! This was my first book I’ve ever read of hers and I will be going back to read her back log of the other books in the series!

Chance and Gemma’s story will pull at your heart strings. Their story is so heartbreaking but don’t fret there is a happy ending.

Chance what do you mean you ended your childhood friendship with Gemma because you got this feeling and read a note that said be better when you two were ready to take the next step and then it’s taking you seven years to realize that mistake.

But you also come off as a cowboy Casanova and don’t correct anyone because you’ve been saving yourself for Gemma. Instant heart melt. They both had to work on themselves and with each other to repair their friendship first before they started a relationship. The emotional depth of Gemma, Chance, and their friendship was incredible. And wooo baby the spicy lessons were not only extremely hot, but were also thoughtfully written with tenderness sprinkled in that makes readers reflect that this is two best friends connecting after heartbreak and so many years apart.

Their story amount of times I highlights in this book and the revenge that both Gemma and Chance got on Walker Paine- god I had to put my kindle down and walk away, I was dead.

The vibes: Small-town Cowboy Romance

Tropes I loved:
♡ childhood friends turned enemies to lovers
♡ cowboy romance

My review:
Roped in Rawhide follows Chance and Gemma. They have been friends since childhood. when Chance was 18 and Gemma was 16 they planned to take their relationship to the next level and becoming more than friends. That night Chance’s mom leaves a cryptic note that caused Chance to sabotage his chances with Gemma. Now 7 years later he’s on a mission to win her back.

This book wasn’t for me. I enjoy small-town cowboy romances, but this one fell short. The prolog started with their essential break up, then chapter one started with Chance trying to win her back. I just felt like there was no real character development and I had a hard time feeling the characters connection toward each other. Gemma’s accident was never really explained and the scene with Chance’s parents felt random to the story. I felt like I didn’t know much about Chance and Gemma as characters besides they both like the rodeo and use to be friends. I think because the book was so short, there wasn’t much time to really get to know Chance and Gemma.

The book was a fast read and got straight to the point. There was some funny banter moments between Gemma and Chance. We did get to see some fun rodeo moments. I think this book will appeal to a lot of readers!

Who I’d recommend it to:
If you love fast reads and cowboys, add this one to your TBR! 🖤

Thank you to smuthood for the ARC. This review reflects my honest opinion.

Early Access ARC Review

The cutest read ever hands down!!! Gemma and Chance were made for each other.

We start off with a flash to the past in the form of a Prologue, we get to witness their sweet friendship and their teenage nerves since they have feelings for each other and are ready to take their friendship to the next level. But what happens when you’re very superstitious and something happens and you make the worst mistake of your life? Well let’s ask Chance this very question, he absolutely shatters Gemma’s heart thinking he was making the right choice and protecting her. Their friendship is broken and any chance they had at something more is severed.

Gemma absolutely can’t stand Chance after what he did to her almost 7 years ago, and honestly she’s in all her rights to be angry and not want anything to do to him. But Chance is making it so difficult when he is becoming the grovel king, he is making so many sweet gestures and working hard to earn her trust again. He wants his girl back because she has ALWAYS been the one for him. He knows and owns up to his mistakes which is definitely earning him points, but Gemma makes him work for it.

I’m obsessed and in love with these two!!! Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a reread for me!!!!

Thank you so much for the Early Access ARC!!!!

MF Cowboy Romance

“Okay, I’ll admit my methods are unconventional.”

Good read. This was fast paced, quick and easy read. It was low drama, not too angsty, funny, with great banter. The MMC was also a tad bit red flaggish when it came to Gemma

A dumb mistake at 18 lead to 7 years of heartache on both sides. But Chance had been trying for the last year (a year after Gemma’s accident) to talk to her and explain himself….. which she was having none of it. But there’s an unexpected twist that might just change her mind, along with their family’s help, he hopes to put on an epic grovel to win her heart.

“I’m terrible at groveling. It’s an unfortunate weakness, but I’m trying to improve.”

No cheating, a bit of OWD no third act breakup with a HEA

* Childhood Best Friends
* Enemies to Lovers
* Small Town
* Grumpy / Sunshine
* Virgin MMC
* Spicy Lessons
* Scarred FMC
* It’s Always Been You
* Grovel & Begging 😏😉

“I also learned to accept my scars. We were stuck together. For better or worse. That was a big hurdle and I fumbled over it. But then you stalked back into my life.” “Like an unrelenting pest.” I try to smirk, but it’s weak at best. “More like a balm for my wounded soul,” she murmurs.

“You gave me what I couldn’t find on my own. Through your grovel fails and unconventional methods, I found myself again. Nobody else could’ve pulled me from that type of wreckage.”
