Puck Wild

PUCK WILD

He was never supposed to be mine. And I was never supposed to stay.

Keri didn’t come looking for trouble—just a fresh start, a new stage, and a chance to rebuild something she lost a long time ago. But the second she steps into the Nighthawks’ world, everything shifts.

Because Sully isn’t the kind of man you ignore. And he’s definitely not the kind you forget.

Quiet. Controlled. Always watching. The kind of man who doesn’t chase—but doesn’t let go either.

What starts as tension neither of them plans to act on quickly turns into something heavier. Harder to ignore. Impossible to walk away from.

And the more they push the line… the more it starts to blur.

Because this isn’t just attraction. It’s something deeper. Something dangerous. Something that won’t end clean.

And when control finally slips—there’s no going back.

Puck Wild is a dark, tension-filled hockey romance featuring a possessive, controlled hero, a confident aerial dancer who refuses to back down, and a connection that burns slow before it breaks wide open.

Thank you Britt for this ARC of Puck Wild, here is my honest review :)

Keri + Sully’s story is so different from Macie + Jax’s story in book 1.

Tropes:
Dark hockey romance
Forced proximity
Found family
Aerial hoop dancer
Past addiction
Dark pasts
Tension
Slow burn

Keri + Sully are both quiet observers, they’ve learnt from their messy backgrounds that it pays off to be quiet, controlled and observant. To be aware of the shift in atmosphere, change in dynamics and foresee a persons behavioural decisions. That’s how they survive. That’s how they move forward.

So what happens when two quiet observers choose each other? There’s tension, there’s slow breaking down of walls, there’s building of trust and there’s a ln undercurrent of control.

When you know you are with your person who you have chosen and has chosen you, in the stillness of every moment. Not just the chaos that follows.

Puck Wild delivered with the continuation of Book 1’s story, I loved revisiting Jax + Macie’s hard and fast dynamics that are so easy to fall back into. I loved the snippets of Koda we got to see and the promise of more.

The writing style seemed a bit repetitive at some times, which was distracting, and that’s the only reason for my rating.

Overall a great read, excited for Book 3!

Happy Reading
😊🏒💃

I had been waiting forever for this story, and Puck Wild was everything I hoped it would be. Britt Lynn once again delivered a romance packed with emotion, sizzling chemistry, simmering tension, and just enough suspense to keep me glued to the pages until the very end.

Keri and Sully have a completely different dynamic than Maci and Jax. They're quieter, more reserved, and tend to observe everything happening around them instead of demanding attention. That slowburn connection made the tension between them absolutely irresistible, building with every interaction until it was impossible to ignore.

Sully is no stranger to the life Keri has worked so hard to leave behind. He understands that world better than most, though it's a part of his past that very few people know about. Keri is determined to start over, focusing on opening a dance club with Maci and building the future she's always wanted. But as they soon discover, the past has a way of catching up when you least expect it.

I absolutely loved Keri. She's resilient, courageous, and a true survivor. She refuses to let her past define her and isn't afraid to fight for the life she deserves. Sully may not be the loudest person in the room, but his quiet strength speaks volumes. He's always aware of what's happening around him, and his protective nature shines through without him having to say much at all. The connection between these two is magnetic, they can sense each other's presence before they even see one another, and their chemistry radiates from every page.

Britt Lynn has an incredible talent for creating characters who feel authentic and easy to connect with. You don't just read their story, you feel every ounce of the tension, longing, vulnerability, and passion alongside them. The suspense is woven in so perfectly that you can sense the danger closing in long before it arrives, keeping you completely immersed. She grabs you by the throat right away and has you begging for more each time you open one of her books.

💭 My thoughts 💭
Britt has a way with words that immediately draws you in and she did not hold back from that power in Puck Wild. I couldn’t put this down, I love the way this entire book unfolds from page one until the final word on the last. The character development, not only with Keri and Sully but also with the side characters, it’s top tier. Sully is not a stranger to the life Keri was in and fought hard to get out of. I think the experience Sully has from their past helped him understand Keri even more than she expected. His control is so strong which is something she needed in her life, she needed a strong grounding relationship and he is perfect. Keri, she is the most relatable character I have read in a long time. No one comes from or has a perfect life, it’s what we do to make the most of it that matters. Keri isn’t a victim but more a survivor whose life isn’t made up of unicorns and rainbows and I can appreciate that. I love this book, their chemistry is AMAZING. The way they feel each others presence without even seeing one another first is just beautiful. I love this series, this book and I cannot wait for Sully’s story ahhhh!

✨I would like to thank Author Britt Lynn for the opportunity to read and review Puck Wild.

Everytime I get the chance to read one of Britt Lynn’s books, I get so excited and for good reason. She never disappointed me once. Always leaving me wanting more. And Puck Wild is no exception.
The story line is emotional, happy, sad, nervewrecking, spicy, teasing and so much more. The more you read the further you get pulled in until it feels like you are part of the book itself.
The fear, anger, doubt and uncertainty Keri goes through grips you and doesn't let go until it all starts to fade to the background and love takes it all over. It’s a story about finding that one person that sees you, not the person you let everyone see, about fighting your way back and building the life you deserve.
We all need a man like Sully that’s for sure. Strong, protective, observant, loving and so much more. Who understands without words.
There is so much more I can say about Puck Wild but I am not going to. You have to find out for yourself. You won’t regret it. One thing I can tell you is you won’t see the end coming at all.

🏒 Puck Wild By Britt Lynn

Oh Britt you have done it again….!

I’ve been dying to read Sully’s Story Since Puck It! Finished and boy was it worth the wait !

Meeting Sully in this book was an absolute experience that continues to live rent-free in my head, and I honestly don't think I'll ever be the same! Britt, you truly mastered the art of the emotional rollercoaster; one minute I was wheezing with laughter at the razor-sharp banter, and the next, I was a sobbing mess over the heart-wrenching turns. My heart is still doing acrobatic flips from all the swoon-worthy chemistry between Sully and Keri—their dynamic is just electric, and I’m officially obsessed. If you’re looking for a story that grabs you by the soul, makes you laugh until your sides ache, and leaves you completely breathless, this is the one you absolutely cannot miss!

Now my darling britt I can't believe the ending and your going to leave us all hanging like that

To say I was excited for this book in an understatement. I remember reading the original Puck It and thinking god I love Sully. I wish he had his own book. Britt has had to hear ALL about my obsession with him. Not sorry Britt.

Sully and Keri didn’t disappoint! Keri is a fierce woman. She’s strong, independent and refuses to need anyone. Except maybe Macie, a girl needs her bestie. I loved the storyline, reading along with the building of their club. It’s got just the right amount of suspense and spice to keep me happy. The ending though *side eye* let’s just say I need book three like yesterday.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

I had so much fun reading Puck Wild! I absolutely loved Sully and Keri together, their connection felt so genuine, and I found myself rooting for them from the very beginning.

And Macie… I didn’t think it was possible, but she’s somehow even crazier than she was in the first book, and I loved every second of it. She honestly steals every scene she’s in.

But can we talk about that ending?! It left me with soooo many questions, and now I need the next book like yesterday because I have to know what happens next!

I fell absolutely in love with Keri and Sully. They are both so quiet and reserved but also so strong and confident. Their chemistry is undeniable the way they can sense each other’s presence before ever even seeing one another is special. I loved Keri she was so relatable. She’s so strong, independent and I love how she doesn’t let her past define her! The suspense was perfect and often had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I still have so many questions that I absolutely cannot wait for the next book.

Omg!!!!! Britt Lynn has done it again with this one. Let me tell ya this one was definitely one of my anticipated reads and she definitely delivered. Sully the mmc and Keri the fmc have definitely become my favorites to read about and watch their relationship unfold definitely one of my favorite reads of the year so far. Sully surprised me with how bad ass he is and how he asked Keri to be his girl made me melt. The plot was great and the spice was there 😏

Absolutely loved it. I loved continuing Jax and Marcie’s story and getting into Sully and Keri’s. There were parts where I was on the edge of my seat wondering how the hell the girls were going to survive but in the end their boys came thru for them.

ALTHOUGH— after finishing it I still have so many more questions—but we all know what that means right? ANOTHER ONE IS COMING SOON!!!!

I have been waiting for this book forever. Pretty much since Puck It! was finished lol and MA'AM.....was it worth the wait!!!

Puck Wild was full of amazing writing from Britt Lynn. There were so many emotions you could feel along with the characters. I laughed out loud a bunch of times but was also "awww-ing" too.

Sully and Keri have so much chemistry, you can see it from their first moment they are alone in the house together and it just builds from that into spicy, spicy scenes.

Lastly.....that ending!!!!!!!! BRITT, how long are you gonna make me wait to find out what happens?!

Sully the man you are…how many times did I have to change my underwear you ask? A few too many but that’s between me and Sully. I have loved both Sully and Keri since the moment I met them in Puck It and so glad we finally got their story. I loved that not only did we have them but we also got to see Macie and Jax again.
