After a chance encounter with a handsome stranger on a train, and a tumultuous school year at Doxlothia University, Evangeline is ready to find joy in her life. When she signs up as a camp counselor, she is blindsided with the news that she must choose her specialty or forfeit her enrollment next semester.
Nash, an alpha werewolf and common thief, has his next target set on Doxlothia’s rare and precious jewels to pay off his debts. Going undercover at the Doxlothia summer camp seems like the perfect plan, especially when the mysterious girl from the train just might be his key into the castle.
But Nash’s criminal past is catching up to him in more ways than one. And after an intimate night together with Evangeline, he begins questioning everything as new fears arise and attachments threaten to form. Nash can’t help but worry about one thing—will the bond he feels between them jeopardize his mission?
Is the mate bond enough to make them believe in love? Or will they be the first linked mate pair to forfeit the bond?
Once Bitten is a new adult paranormal romance and the third installment in a series of interconnected standalones set in a new world where werewolves, vampires, and humans coexist peacefully…most of the time.
Samantha Cokeley was raised in a small town in Oklahoma. Growing up, she always had an active imagination and an interest in crafting stories. She developed a love for writing after college when she discovered anime and fan fiction. If she isn’t spending time painting colorful sea creatures, you can find her with family, including her pug named Kylo. The This Blood that Binds Us series ends this year. But you can expect many more stories with vampires, heartwarming found family, and fluff to come.
𐙚⋆°。⋆♡ ── 4.5 stars crying wdym this series is over 😭 why are all my fav series coming to an end i can't do this
rtc!!
this is a must read series if you enjoy vampires, weres, mates, elite universities, pining, and men who are very much obsessed!!!
thank you s.l. cokeley & team for the eARC
𐙚⋆°。⋆♡ ── pre-read oh my days!!!! one of my all time fav series is coming to an end 🥹💗 i have loved this series ever since i read book 1 last year and absolutely adored bite me emmadacre for ever!! this is one of my most anticipated read ever and im so excited!! evangeline being the anxious eldest daughter will destroy me but i am ready!!! the most stunning pink cover too
I GOT THE ARC!! 🥳🩷 I was SO excited for the final book in this series. Ever since I read the epilogue in Bite Me about Evangeline and Nash, I’ve been hooked and waiting for their story!
(Olivia and Parker are still my favorites, so I don’t think anything will beat the first book for me. But I really enjoyed this one too! 🥹)
Nash was DOWN BAD pretty much from the very beginning. I really liked his character and his snarky remarks and he was willing to do absolutely anything for Eva. I loved that about him.
I was curious about Eva since we didn’t get to see that much of her in the previous books. I usually prefer stronger FMCs who don’t cry as much…but I still grew to like her. She struggled a lot with anxiety and I appreciated getting to see that side of her.
I also really liked their bond and how Nash could sense her emotions. But honestly, it took them WAY too long to accept it. I understand why they were hesitant to embrace the bond, but at some point I was getting a little tired of waiting for them to finally accept it. Also I think the plot was a little weaker. Some things just weren’t developed enough, and everything felt rushed again. The book is pretty long and I found some chapters a little boring because not that much happens.
Some of their decisions also frustrated me, especially towards the end, when Nash didn’t want to tell anyone about a certain danger that could potentially threaten Olivia. Like, PLEASE, just communicate!
Overall, I enjoyed this book and was really looking forward to reading it, but some parts didn’t hold my attention as much as I’d hoped and a few things left me feeling a little unsatisfied.
Still, I’m definitely happy I got to read their story, and I can see myself coming back to this series for a reread! 🩷
I can’t believe this series has come to an end! The Osborne sisters and their men who are completely, utterly obsessed with them… Yeah, I don’t know how to say goodbye 💔
Eva and Nash were such a sweet, adorable couple. They both have their own struggles and my heart hurt for them in different ways. Nash has always felt like he isn’t good enough and that all he brings into people’s lives is bad luck. He didn’t have the best childhood, and even as an adult, life hasn’t exactly dealt him the best cards. But for Eva, he wants to change and be better!
And Eva, my poor girl! She struggles with anxiety and spends so much time worrying about everything, constantly keeping her feelings bottled up. It hurt to see her bury her struggles instead of letting others see what she was going through. But together, you can see how much they calm and comfort each other. Nash is always there for her and their interactions felt so genuine and sweet. I just wanted to cry and give them both the biggest hug 😭❤️
They might actually be my favorite couple in the series so far! I’ve loved this series so much and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to read the final book early.
Honestly Nash exceeded my expectations. He was a much softer character than I was anticipating and I loved him! Their story was so good, so thank you to the author for the ARC!!
I received this ARC as part of S. L. Cokeley’s Streeth team in exchange for an honest review! I want to give a huge thank you to S. L. Cokeley for this opportunity. I am beyond grateful to finally read one of my most anticipated reads of 2026!
Tropes 💖 alpha werewolf x human 🩷 university summer camp 💖 bad boy/good girl 🩷 fated mates, but it’s complicated 💖 scenting, marking, and high heat 🩷 one-night stand 💖 anxiety rep
This book made me feel:
I have been waiting SO long for this book, and I am so happy to finally get my hands on it! This has been one of my most anticipated reads, specifically for 2026, but honestl,y since the first book in the series was released, I have been waiting for Eva’s book. This book is the third and final book of the Doxlothia University trilogy that follows the Osborn sisters.
I knew Eva was going to be the sister I connected to the most because I sympathize with her anxiety and loneliness and the fact that she doesn’t know what she wants to do for a career and her hidden anger. My sisters have all found their careers and I have felt so far behind them so it is always nice to have a main character who is just as lost at finding their way through life. But I truly connected so much with her way of thinking, she often keeps busy to distract herself to keep the anxiety and overwhelming exhaustion at bay. And the first moment I met Nash earlier on in the series I knew I was going to love him and the book did not disappoint.
This book follows a werewolf x human pairing and it is so good! Eva and Nash have crossed paths several times and it is all very coincidental, but you can tell how drawn to each other they are from each interaction. He’s really a thief and she’s a student at the school he is trying to steal from… but there are so many instances where they understand each other without saying a word, he is always attracted to her scent, and their chemistry is through the roof they are so attracted to each other. But Nash also is so caring towards Eva, and she is basically the only person he is so outwardly caring and open about his own feelings with.
This is definitely a higher spice book than S. L. Cokeley’s previous books, but the plot is still very much a focus. This book is also littered with so many hurt/comfort and caretaking moments I was being fed! Caretaking is probably one of my top tropes of all time and the amount of times that Nash carried Eva, he ran a bath for her, asked if she felt anxious and helped her get through panic attacks, literally so many moments where you can just tell how much he cared for her. And she also cared for him just as much, taking care of him when he’s hurt. Their relationship is very equal in that aspect.
I loved the Summer Camp vibes and although there wasn’t a lot of focus on any of the kids, all those moments were fairly brief which I didn’t mind, but we got a little bit here and there, but most of the focus was on our two main characters and their interactions and the plot outside of the Summer Camp, because honestly the Summer Camp was just the backdrop to the entire start of the “Underworld” of the universe. We dived more into the morally grey and villain side of the world with stealing, black markets, and hackers, plus there was more.
The end of the book had me feeling two ways. Absolute shock because the last 50 pages went so quick and there was so much going on, but also by the last chapter I wanted more. It truly made me question where the rest of the book went 😂. This book easily became a top favorite of mine and I want to reread this book and the rest of the series very soon.
Werewolves and motorcycle's? You have my attention, and I am sat.
Nash and Evangeline have "known" each other for a bit. After a chance meeting on a train one night when they both had been looking for an escape changes everything. They don't hold too much weight to their meeting until it's summer camp time at Doxlothia University. Eva is one of the lead camp cousliers, and Nash is there as a counselor to use as cover so he can steal a precious diamond from the school. All is going well until Nash and Eva run into each other and can't stay away. A one night stand goes from just that, to something neither of them expected.
Nash is my baby, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. Both Nash and Eva have always been connected, even before they met. Bad things happen to Nash, he blames himself, rinse and repeat. Same goes for Eva, but just add more anxiety and masking to the mix. I really enjoyed the anxiety rep in this book, because I felt seen. I often times bury my anxiety down simply because that's what everyone expects of me (or so my brain tells me). I really loved how Nash helped Eva navigate through it, and didn't let her hide any parts of herself from him. They are probably my favorite couple from the whole series, and I'm already looking forward to a reread in the future.
I'm sad our time at Doxlothia is coming to and end, but I am forever grateful for these stories and characters! I can't wait to see what S.L. Cokeley has in store next.
I’m actually so sad this series is finished. I love every moment of every book. Nash and Eva were such an adorable couple. Nash was so patient and understanding and really knew how to treat Eva like a queen. Their interactions were so sweet it gave me sugar rush. Eva was so anxious all the time, poor girl but over time she overcame it with Nashes help. If you love a little paranormal with your romance this whole series is perfect 🩷🩷 I can’t put into words how much I love this series.
*Thank you to S.L. Cokeley for providing me an ARC of this book, I’m so grateful and appreciative.
*Check Content Warnings before reading
Evangeline’s story has FINALLY ARRIVED! Not only that, but this had our sweet, good girl eldest Osborne sibling having a romance with a BAD BOY ALPHA WERE! YAY! Nash was a bad boy with a reputation for being literally on the run, and ahem occasionally staking out places for him and his pack to steal for purposes we find out about in this book. Evangeline had always been someone who was trying to find her place, and throughout this book she discovered more about what she wanted, and unexpectedly finding someone who truly understood every facet of her. Nash and Evangeline’s story was not only passionate, vulnerable, and caring, but also had a bit of danger with people from Nash’s past coming for him…and Evangeline!
My favorite part about this book was seeing how Nash and Evangeline understood each other on a deeper level. Both, Nash and Evangeline weren’t always the best at trying to communicate their thoughts and feelings with others, but together they found a way to express their inner feelings and fears. Evangeline for example has always felt like she was trying to find her place at school, trying to figure out the next steps in her life, but always felt a lack of passion since she didn’t know what exactly she wanted. With Nash coming into Evangeline’s life, she started to feel a sense of belonging with him, and felt like he understood all parts about her. From her emotional moments, to dealing with her anxiety, and unsure about things, it was understandable for Evangeline to feel the way that she did, but Nash came through for her by comforting her, listening to her, and providing her the safety she always craved. Plus, Nash was such a great caretaker when it came to Evangeline, SO CUTE! Even our resident bad boy dealt with some inner struggles from feeling like he wasn’t worthy enough to be with Evangeline, and taking on all the responsibilities for his pack by not asking for help in certain situations. Nash had to consistently work on himself in order to see that Evangeline saw him as a worthy partner, and not everything had to be done by himself. I think the way S.L. Cokeley wrote Nash and Evangeline’s romance was full of vulnerability, and peeling back on their insecurities and fears. Throughout the story, there were moments where Nash and Evangeline were able to express themselves in a way that in some instances didn’t regard words, but more actions that meant more to them.
This book felt like there was a bit more at stake with, Nash’s past coming for him, and Evangeline finding herself entangled in danger from nefarious people Nash was dealing with in the story. With the added conflict of evil characters working behind the scenes in order to harm both Evangeline and Nash, there was more urgency to Nash wanting to protect Evangeline from danger, and that danger spreading more quickly than Nash anticipated. Plus, how the conflict started to develop in a darker direction than Nash and Evangeline expected which was a bit suspenseful.
I loved how once again the book made sure to include past characters from the two books because, HELLO we cannot forget about Evangeline’s sisters and their significant others! I actually loved seeing the interactions between Nash and Olivia, Emma, and with Parker too. I could see little by little, Nash was being integrated into the family and I loved that for him. Plus, getting to meet Nash’s pack and how they immediately were so welcoming, protective, and caring about Evangeline WAS SO SWEET! I LOVED EVERYTHING! Nash and Evangeline’s story started off not just as them working the summer as camp counselors, but it became an even more wonderful story of seeing two individuals who were vulnerable, alone, and found a beautiful kinship together in ways that defied everything, but fully made them feel complete being together. Highly recommend this book and each book in this series!
Oooh this is an angsty one! The emotional turmoil and general emo vibes were strong with this one, and I loved it! The tone is a lot different from the previous Doxlothia University books. I remember book 1 being more banter and spice, and book 2 was more intrigue and plotting. This is very different! It feels more grounded and focused on our MCs, particularly their emotional struggles and character growth. Our FMC, Evangeline (Eva) is struggling with anxiety and, at the start of the novel, general indecision over what she wants to do with her life. She feels like the odd woman out in her family, since she doesn’t have an all-encompassing passion or talent. An aside, we readers know that’s not true, but these are Eva’s feelings. Our MMC, Nash, is also struggling with anxiety and feelings of failure. He feels that he keeps making mistakes and can’t lead his pack in the right direction. He’s in massive amounts of debt from a botched heist, which pushes him to accept a bigger score: stealing priceless artifacts from Doxlothia during the summer break. This puts him on a collision course with Eva, who is working at the Doxlothia-run summer camp for kids.
From the first meeting (or second, if you’ve read Doxlothia book 2), there is chemistry. Oooh the fated mates trope kicks in hard in this one. Almost immediately, Nash denies it (the low self-esteem vibes are kicking in hard), but he can’t stay away. And boy is it spicy! Cokeley writes such good sexual tension; I’m obsessed with it. The simmering passion is almost tangible with how spicy it is. I love the slow (ish) burn of it all. Both MCs think they’re not good enough for the other, but they can’t shake the chemistry and the bond. Hence, crazy tension and overall emotional angst throughout.
Spicy scenes aside, I really enjoyed the character growth! Both MCs start out in a rather low place (feeling inadequate, aimless, and generally like loners). But as they get closer, and their family circles collide, they realize how much there is to gain from being open and honest with themselves, each other and their families. I really enjoyed seeing Nash’s pack fawn over Eva. I feel like her sisters loom large in this universe, so it’s really nice to see her getting her flowers and being treated like a princess. Nash finally opens up and connects to his pack. He realizes they’re stronger when they’re open with each other, and he goes the straight and narrow path with them. It’s a very satisfying conclusion after all of the upheaval and character struggles in the book.
Jumbo spoiler for the end!!!
Disclosure notice:
I received this book as a free eARC from the author! All opinions are my own. No AI was used at any stage of this process (reading, reviewing, posting, etc.) Thank you to the author for letting me read this wonderful book early!
Once Bitten has been one of my most anticipated reads ever since S.L. Cokeley started teasing it on Instagram back in February, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!!
I stumbled upon the Doxlothia University series after Just One Bite was recommended to me on Kindle. It was my first paranormal werewolf romance, and I've been hooked ever since! After meeting the Osborne sisters, Genevieve immediately caught my interest. It's always the quiet ones! Getting to read the Once Bitten prologue early had me hooked on Eva and Nash from the start. Their meeting on the train was EVERYTHING, and getting another glimpse of them in Bite Me literally had me chomping at the bars of my enclosure. 😂
I had been counting down the days until the November 3rd release, so imagine the SHRIEK I let out when this landed in my inbox!! My very first ARC, and I couldn't have been more grateful for the opportunity to read this story early. ❤️
Let me just say, I DEVOURED this book and then went back for a second read to really take it all in. The meet-cute, the undeniable pull between them, the spice, and the genuine love and care Nash and Eva showed each other were everything I wanted and MORE. Nash was DOWN BAD from their very first meeting, and I loved absolutely everything about him. His patience, tenderness, and the way he made Eva feel safe and loved practically bleed off the pages. I could not get enough of these two!
This book also felt different from the previous installments in both its plot and spice, and I could really see the growth in S.L. Cokeley's writing. It was fabulous!! The way she wrote Eva and her internal struggles was chef's kiss. Anxiety can be difficult to put into words, but seeing those feelings reflected in Eva felt like looking at parts of myself. She was so relatable, and watching her grow throughout the story was genuinely inspiring. I loved seeing that vulnerability woven into her journey.
And DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE CAVE SCENE. 🥵 The romance and spice were fantastic, tastefully written, and the perfect amount for this story. I truly loved every bit of it!
Without spoiling anything, I had a feeling the ending was heading in that direction, but that didn't make me any more ready to say goodbye. In fact, I NEED MORE. S.L. Cokeley, please give us an extended epilogue or another book about these two!! I am NOT ready to let go of Nash and Eva just yet. 😭❤️
S.L. Cokeley, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read my very first ARC! Getting to experience a book I've anticipated for months ahead of its release was so special, and I'm incredibly grateful. You have created something wonderful with this series, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!
The Doxlothia University series has completely stolen my heart, and Once Bitten is another reason why. If you love paranormal romance, werewolves, fated mates, and a man who is absolutely gone for his girl, PLEASE give this series a read. You won't regret it!! 🐺❤️
Thank you to SL Cokeley for this free ARC of Once Bitten in exchange for an honest review. Please be advised that this review is spoiler-free to the best of my ability and to proceed with caution.
Oh Noah Dashwood the (fictional) man that you are!
I have really been enjoying the Doxlothia University series and Once Bitten did not disappoint!
Noah and Eva’s story was messy but in a good way. It really focused on the “what if” aspect regarding certain bonds and the reality of not always getting what you want. It also highlighted the fact that a lot the roadblocks we find in relationships are of our own making, even if we don’t want to acknowledge it.
I loved that despite the story being centered around Noah and Eva, we also really get a close look into Noah’s pack and the found family sub-plot. It revealed a lot about Noah’s character and rounded out the story quite well. If given the opportunity though, I’d personally love an exploration of his brother, River’s, character. I believe there is more to his story alone, and think it would add more depth to both his and Noah’s complicated history.
I also greatly appreciate a deeper look into Noah’s own inner turmoil. I feel like not enough authors explore men’s mental health and the impact it has on their lives.
With that being said, there are a few things I have complicated feelings about. Eva’s sisters mention they use to talk all the time, specifically Emma and Eva but then she stops? It wasn’t really explained why and it felt almost like a disservice to Eva’s development. The ending is also complicated for me. I loved that we got a HEA, it’s exactly what I want in romance books, and without spoiling too much, I really wish we hadn’t gone that route… especially so soon. This is 1000% on me but I know there are others who have similar opinions. Regardless, it still wrapped up the story nicely.
Once Bitten by SL Cokeley is scheduled to publish November 3rd, 2026 and yes, I absolutely recommend this book. I can’t wait to add it to my own collection along with her other standalones within the Doxlothia University series: Just One Bite and Bite Me.
I love these books way too much and I’m praying to who ever will listen.. that they’ll be more books in this series 🥹 3 books just isn’t enough.
Every time I read one of these novels, I always think the next one can’t be as good as the one I’ve just read. Yet, I’m mistaken each time. Each book is so unique in its own right but still beautifully romantic with an edge of suspense.
This book follow Evangeline and Nash, a human and a werewolf 🥹 their chemistry was utterly insane and their spice was incredible. I knew this book was going to be spicier than the rest but oh my, I didn’t expect this level of 🔥🔥.
I enjoy Nash not being enrolled at Doxlothia, while the school was still the main location, it was good getting a new vantage point but still with the homely feel of the academy. Nash is a professional thief and is only navigating Doxlothia to get access to a precious gem. Eva and Nash have met twice previously and each time, they’ve felt an instant connection, leaving both of them yearning for each other. I honestly felt that Nash took the job just so he could find Eva 🥹
I love how these books are the perfect balance of romance, spice and a little peril. I always know things are going to workout but you never really know how and I love that.
Ohhh, how am I meant to go on knowing the sisters story is over 🥹💜 I could read so so much more.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I am so sad this series is over because I feel like I just started it. I really enjoyed reading about Nash and Eva. The stakes are a little bit higher in this book compared to others which I really found to fun. I really enjoyed the summer camp vibes from this one and being able to have small snippets of Nash and Eva interacting with the kids. I love all the Osborn sisters and while Olivia is my favorite out of them, Nash has been favorite MMC.
Nash is such a simp for Eva and I loved every minute of it. Nash has always felt like he was not good enough whether it be as a partner or an alpha. He did not have the best life but he has a pack around him that fully support him as best they can when he allows it. The different dynamics he has with his pack members is fun and unique in their own way. I really enjoyed any time they were on page together.
I found it really interesting to get into Eva’s head more. She struggles with anxiety and is constantly in her head worrying about everything. She is constantly bottling things up so that she does put her anxieties on anyone else. She is lost and is struggling to find her path. She is constantly there for everyone and is always trying to make things as perfect as she can. I feel like all of that makes her very relatable as a character.
I very much enjoyed her interactions with Nash. They are both constantly trying to be there for one another. Their interactions were genuine and really felt how much. They did not always know how to communicate with one another but they did their best and understood each other on a deeper level. They both have their own struggles and I like how they are able to help each other work through their pasts.
Tropes 💖 alpha werewolf x human 🐺 university summer camp 💖 bad boy/good girl 🐺 fated mates, but it’s complicated 💖 scenting, marking, and high heat 🐺 one-night stand 💖 anxiety rep
Thank you so much SL Cokeley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review!
4 ⭐️ read! THANK YOU @author_s.l.cokeleywritesbooks for letting me be apart of your ARC team and getting a head start on Nash and Eva’s story! Omgsh this series i just love so much! As a Harry Potter girly through and through i love the format of Doxlothia university and the houses. I love how each house kind of embodies a certain personality and i have been waiting for Eva’s story this entire time. As the oldest sibling who has also fought crippling depression and anxiety my entire life, i feel like my heart just felt with Eva so much throughout this book! Now, i was a Parker Stan from the beginning but I’ll be honest, i think Nash takes the cake for me! I LOVED the way he not only felt Eva’s entire emotions but figured out how to help her with her feelings. Helping her relax, release her anger while also proving a home for Eva when she lost hers so young. As far as mates go, these two are the person compliments of each other and i absolutely loved their character development and the way they grew together! I also couldn’t get enough of the pack dawning over Eva as well it just made my heart so happy! AND THE ENDING 😭 seriously this book is such a beautiful conclusion to a beautiful series! This book will be on KU November 3rd, please do not sleep on it! 😭💖 #bookworm #bookish #bookstagrammer #bookaholic #readingcomunity
Once Bitten has been my most anticipated release of 2026, and I'm happy to report that it did not disappoint! Thank you, S. L. Cokeley, for allowing me to be on your street team and read your books early. They're such masterpieces 😭
The Doxlothia University series is one of my top five series ever, and Once Bitten is my favorite installment!! I want to say so much in this review, but because the book hasn't released yet, I'm going to keep my thoughts to a minimum... for now.
All I'll say is that if you struggle with anxiety, or if you have ever felt like you don't belong, or if you're stressed about choosing a permanent path in life, then you NEED to read this book. Because you'll find a comfort character in Evangeline — and Nash, too. After reading so many fantasy and paranormal romance books about badass, sword-wielding women who never feel an ounce of fear, it was so refreshing to read a book with a kind-hearted, anxious, Lover-coded FMC 🩷
Evangeline and Nash are for the readers who feel the weight of their mistakes and fears deeply. They're for the readers who long to find someone who sees them completely and loves them dearly, not in spite of their flaws, but because of them.
(Also, THAT ENDING WAS WAY TOO PRECIOUS!! I will eagerly be awaiting Nash and Eva's epilogue 🥺)
I thought I loved the last book, but just a few chapters into this it quickly became my favorite. I was so curious about what the oldest sister was getting into during Olivia and Emma's book that I was practically jumping out of my chair waiting for this. Reading through this series, it was so hard to determine which sister I was like the most, and while I think I find attributes in all of them, I really found myself in Evangeline. There were MANY times I was tearing up at her frustrations and fears because the way the author describes them is so realistic to what real people experience. I didn't want to put the book down or leave her story at all!
Something that I love about this book and this series is that all the sisters are so different, and so are their love interests! These books feel like their own stories and not a copy-paste. I could read each sister's story over and over again and love them separately as their own stories unraveled with their own history and with their love interests. All their dynamics fit so well, and I'm very eager to see what this author comes out with next!
I think I can confidently say this was my favorite book of the series, and a lot of that comes down to how much I related to Evangeline.
As the eldest daughter, the anxious daughter, and the one who always feels like the responsibility falls on her shoulders, I saw so much of myself in Eva. Her struggles with anxiety, finding her place, and feeling like she has to carry everything really resonated with me.
Nash I absolutely loved him. The way he understood Eva, cared for her, and gave her the space to be vulnerable was everything. I loved that they both had their own insecurities to work through and that their relationship wasn’t just about the romance.
And the spice? YES PLEASE. Their chemistry was fantastic, and I loved the balance of passion, vulnerability, and tenderness.
I also loved getting more of the pack dynamics, the suspense, and seeing familiar characters again. For me, everything came together beautifully and gave this series the ending it deserved.
I’m sad to say goodbye to these characters, but I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion!
First of all I want to thank S.L. Cokeley for the ARC, I absolutely LOVED the first 2 books in this series, so I felt so grateful to have received an e- ARC.💕
I loved Nash so much, he's a bit of a bad boy, but not for her. He treats Eva with love and respect and he accepts and loves all of her flaws.
I really loved the anxiety rep in the book. As an anxiety girlie myself I related to a lot of the things Evangeline did and it felt so nice to read Nash helping her through her anxiety.
I loved this series with my whole heart and I am so sad that it's over. I very much recommend the whole series, Doxlothia University had become one of my all time favorite series.🥹
I would love if there maybe would come a little Christmas novella where we get to see the couples one more time👀
This is book 3 in the Doxlothia University series, it's a series of standalones. I do recommend to read the whole series, because 1 all the books are amazing! And 2 it is all connected and you get get to take a look in the life of all the other characters and will love them even more.
Kind of sad this series is over. The first book is still my favorite but this one was good too. I hated the self loathing both the MCs seemed to have but it was good for their character arcs. And the not-so-much miscommunication but “must keep it a secret to protect” aspect was frustrating. Again, I understand why it was there I just didn’t love it.
This one was interesting. Although I didn’t quite lose sleep over it I was curious to see where the story would go. You do see the other couples from the previous books but Parker and Olivia are definitely seen more than Dacre and Emma.
The ending does make me wish we’d get a “where are they now x years in the future” bonus chapter or novella. Although I think it is technically a standalone it’s best if you at least read the epilogue from book 2 prior to reading this book.
Ugh, I’m ugly crying as this series has come to an end. And what a way to end it!
Really enjoyed reading Eva and Nash’s story. Right off the bat, you see Nash wanting to be there for Eva when they first meet and he knew it wouldn’t be the last time he saw her. Fast forward and he sees her again as camp counselors and with some forced proximity, their attraction grows to something fierce and hot. And yes, happy to say Nash has a hot mouth and I ate that shit up!
I thought they complimented each other really well and were perfect for each other. They went through similar trauma so they understood one another and knew what each other needed. That was so beautiful to read!
Thank you so much SL Cokeley for the gifted ARC. But I’m sorry as I have to say, Olivia and Parker will forever have my heart!!
Please check trigger warning friends as this story covers some heavy topics.
Werewolf fated mate romance! The third book in this series written by S.L. Cokeley and may be my favorite story! They are both so broken, even though they are surrounded by people who love and respect them. They are fated mates who are actually Linked-Mates in this universe which means they are mirrors (in my understanding/opinions). Our werewolf is a thief who makes his living doing shady jobs with his pack and then we have our FMC who is the sunshine to his grumpy but has her own little dark cloud following her around and is forever crying the first few times they meet. They have to figure out what they want and how they have to change the trajectory of their lives to have the future the other makes them want to bring to life. Its heartbreaking and joyful and full of love that it tugs on all my emotions.
Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to S.L Cokeley and team for letting me read an ARC copy of this book!
I have loved every book in this series and this one was no different. The characters of Nash and Eva really do bloom in this book. We see small hints of Eva throughout the series but I love that we really get to know her in this book. Seeing her struggles and the way that she is able to over come them is something that I have really enjoyed reading this book, I loved that Nash was a safe haven for her and was able to uplift her while also encouraging her to come out of her shell.
I loveeee a man obessed and Nash is definitely that! I loved that he also had his struggles and problems and found that safe place with Eva.
Overall, I have nothing bad to say not only about this book but also this series! I loved being able to see the way that all of these characters have grown and now the series is finished I am unsure what I will do!
Thank you to the Author for the arc of this book 💘🐺 ⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ ᧔ෆ᧓ ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔
An alpha that is the cutest fluffball of all time all while being a theif and dark to? Please i need 10 of him.
Ava and Nash were the buzziest couple ever, I love how their firs interaction was so random and the tension in the air till to the point they just couldn't avoid it and ended up sleeping togather and thus start this situationship where they were avoiding their bond for a long time but omg the spice was spicing and how he just loved her utterly, how he cared for her and how easily his pack just accepted her and vowed to protect her, i just love everything about this book and also fan of the authors writting now as well 🩷👩❤️💋👨
Thank you S.L. Cokeley & team for an advance review copy!
I was so excited to return to S.L.’s Doxlothia University universe & this book did not disappoint!
This is definitely the spiciest of the three books - and the added spice totally fit for Nash & Eva’s story. While living separate lives prior to meeting each other, they’ve always shared the same internal dialogue where each one is constantly feeling not good enough, blaming themselves for things that have gone wrong, etc
Once they meet, the chemistry is electric AND they know just what to say to the other one to make them feel better, safe, at home.
I hope S.L. Writes more in this universe because I’m not ready to say goodbye to the Osborne Sisters & their mates!
This book had wolf shifters, fated mates, spice and plenty of angsty drama. Nash is a werewolf thief who lives on the edge. He is so down bad for Evangeline from the very second they first met, which was during a heist. Even though he wants her so badly, he thinks she deserves better. He was so emo. I loved him and I loved his love for Evangeline. He is a top tier MMC and could steal whatever he wants from me. I liked how different he was from the other MMCs in this series. He wasn't rich or beloved by everyone so had to work his way in. I think he is actually my favorite MMC of the series now. Evangeline is complicated, full of self doubt and anxiety as she was trying to find herself. I loved how his love didn't "fix" her, but instead just supported her. The actual plot was fast paced and swept me along as it unfurled. I thought it wrapped up the series nicely. I am sad to leave this world behind.
A sweet conclusion to this series! I loved getting to know Evangeline through her sisters’ book and I loved how caring and real she felt. And every time Nash calls her sweetheart, I think I die and swoon a little inside. Their meet cute is definitely memorable and as they make their way through the summer camp, i could just feel how much the characters loved taking care of others, even at the expense of themselves. The poor bbs are going through it but the ending fit perfectly for them. And it was nice to see all the precious couples and the new found family. This was a spicy good time.
Nash may be a terrible thief but he’ll still manage to steal your heart.
Too cheesy? Okay.
This one is for the anxiety girlies, for the ones who never feel like they are good enough. Its got healing, its got comfort, its got men who can cry and are safe to cry in front of. It will give you anxiety but don’t worry it all works out in the end and the ENDING! I want more of their happily ever after I really do because i love them. High key recommend.
Another great one from S. L. Cokeley!!! 🖤 I already knew I was going to love Nash from the last book, and boy, I was NOT WRONG! I obviously loved Dacre and Parker, but Nash might just be my favorite! He is so freaking charming, sweet with the kids, protective, and loving. I NEED MORE!
