His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO－ナルト－), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.

Chapter 29-32 had a LOT of turn of events and I cannot wait to read the rest

VOLUME 8: CHAPTER 29-32
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 29
Boruto offers his body to Momoshiki in order to take down Jura. Boruto easily defeats Mamushi's clones with the help of the Karma. Kawaki also joins the battle to exterminate the clones. Mamushi's clones keep increasing and scattering around Konohagakure. The battlefield become wider as Team 10 and Himawari also join the fight.
In the same time, Mitsuki was interrogated by Lord Kobu about the incident of Boruto's escape. Konohamaru trying to interfere but Lord Kobu denied it as he knows that he is lying.
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 30
Lord Kobu summoned Shikamaru in the middle of the Mamushi's chaos. As the interrogation goes on, Kashin Koji's toad slip in and Inojin used his Shintenshin no Jutsu on Lord Kobu through the toad. The controlled Lord Kobu goes to the rooftop and Kashin Koji wants to kill him as he is considered as an enemy even it is opposed by Inojin. Mamushi appears on the rooftop.

Mamushi's clones become uncontrollable as their intelligent were dropped drastically. Sarada used her Mangekyou Sharingan: Ohirume to get hold of the situation. Inojin, who inside Lord Kobu's body, trying to escape from Mamushi's attacks. Kashin Koji forcefully released Inojin's Shintenshin no Jutsu from Lord Kobu. Boruto arrived to save Lord Kobu. They come up with another plan to lure Mamushi toward Eida's place.
BORUTO: TWO BLUE VORTEX CHAPTER 32
Boruto bring Mamushi and his clones toward Eida's location. Right now, there are about 200 clones approaching Eida's location. Mamushi aware with Daemon's ability that can reflect any attacks after he touch something with his palms. Shikamaru already come up with a plan to defeat Mamushi in one sweep. Daemon starts the fight by defeated almost half of the clones. Boruto, Kawaki, Mitsuki and Himawari also join the battle. As the clone numbers decreasing to below 50, Sarada used her Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume to suck all the remaining clones. But, suddenly Sarada falls unconscious. The plan fail as Mamushi clones keep increasing to 1000.
