I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book can be read without reading The Billionaire's Wife series but it won't make sense. This book starts just shortly after book 4 of The Billionaire's wife ends.

Jacob wants revenge for what happened to Leila. Leila wants him to let it go not telling him everything that happened to her because it will just fuel his need for vengeance against her attackers.

There is so much I want to say but this book is short and it runs really fast through it. It is an amazing story that lets us know where everyone is at for now and where they could possibly go in this series. It is an amazing beginning to this series and like The Billionaire's Wife it does have a cliffhanger for this book before it goes to the second book in the series. It is however starting off with a bang and it really good. I would recommend it even with the fact that it has cliff-hangers and we have to wait for the next book in the series.

This is the first short part of a four part series of other short instalments, and although well-written and engaging, with a promising storyline, unfortunately, in my opinion it is priced too high, even when presented as a ‘boxed set’ format, when the complete series only amounts to around 160 pages.
I guess I will just never know what happens next, and for that, a disappointed 3 stars.

I was extremely excited for more Jacob and Leila since the ending of the last series (The Billionaire's Wife) was a bit anticlimactic. This book is written from Jacob's perspective, and I love it! It shows how much Jacob has grown, and yet he is still Jacob with his many issues. The story picks up about a month after the last series. Jacob and Leila are trying to overcome Leila's kidnaping. While Leila has her difficulties, Jacob seems to struggle just as much if not more than her. Part 1 ends with a cliffhanger - What will happen between Jacob & Leila? I can't wait to read to book 2 as I know Ava Claire won't disappoint!

Wow. Ava's done it again! It looks like her new series, The Billionaire Dom Diaries, is going to continue the hot and exciting theme of her previous books. The end of His Need left us hanging in an extreme situation. It's a good thing her next segment of the book is coming soon because I don't think I'll be able to wait very long for it.

Leila went through hell in The Billionaire's Wife. Now, Jacob gets to travel through his own personal version; and, like Jacob, it's really intense. I always enjoy seeing things from the other person's point of view, and this book is no exception. It gives us a chance to witness Jacob's pain as well as his pleasure.

I've read all of Ava's books in this series thus far, but I read the first one (the His Submissive series) as a boxed set, so I was able to continue reading through all the nail-biting parts at my own leisure. That's the way I like to read my books. I'd like to know why it is that Ava releases her books in parts, rather than all at once.

No matter how you read this series, whether it's in parts, or all at once, it's a great way to spend your time. Ava's an indie author (she self-publishes her books). Most of what she writes is pretty polished; not too many words are misspelled and the grammar is good. Her love scenes are charged with sexual tension, making you want to read more (or maybe the same thing over and over again).

I am extremely happy that we're not saying goodbye to Jacob and Leila Whitmore yet. I've loved their story from the very beginning.

In His Need (The Billionaire Dom Diaries, Part One), we get to see things through Jacob's POV. This made me happy. I love Jacob and his total alpha male personality and I enjoyed seeing life through his eyes. Experiencing the aftermath of Leila's kidnapping and subsequent return through Jacob's eyes is a great change. We see firsthand how his life was turned upside down during that event and how he is since trying to deal with it. Being the man he is, Jacob is set on revenge, but at what cost? Will it be worth it in the end between him and Leila? After all they've been through together though you'd think that there would be no more secrets between them. Jacob's need for revenge, against Leila's wishes and the secrets he keeps from her on his plans can't have a very positive end. I can't wait to find out how this works out for them.

Absolutely enjoyed this beginning of the next journey through Jacob and Leila Whitmores life.

I liked this book, loved that it was in his POV but at the same time I don't like that they have to go through all of this now. At the end of the submissive series they had their HEA and now it just seems like they keep getting torn apart or hurt and this book isn't any different. Jacob is not dealing with what happened to Leila, he sees himself as a failure for a husband because he could not protect her. I don't like how dark his thought become, I hate that he is lying to her. My heart breaks for Leila because she is still recovering and is trying but still suffers. I would rather them work together on this, yea maybe have a few arguments because of her shutting down or him feeling less than but instead this book is all about revenge and yet again another man lying to the woman he loves all for her own good. Well this blows up in his face in the end, and this is what makes me upset because how can this couple that I loved reading about and were happy, ever be okay again, why mess with a good thing?

This book picks up after the Billionaire's Wife Series. I feel you need to read that first to understand the direction of this book.

Boy what a fast paced book! Jacob is seething with his need to exact revenge on the people who kidnapped Leila. Leila just wants him to let things go and move on with their lives content in the knowledge they still have each other. And although Jacob on the surface is trying to, he knows those people have to pay for hurting his wife. They will not get away with it! He plans and manipulates to put him in the place to take his revenge. What happens is suspenseful and jaw dropping! I can't give it away! You have to read this! Ava Claire writes with such passion you literally feel what they are going through. AND that's a true gift. Start this series today! I for one will be on pins and needles until the next installment is out!

This series of books will let us see the life of Jacob and Leila through his eyes. In part one you can feel how deep his love for Leila is and what his is willing to do to help her get help with her recent kidnapping. He is furious with himself for not being there to protect her when she needed him the most and he seeks revenge on Cole and his sister now!!! Leila is trying hard to put the kidnapping event behind her, so she ask Jacob to take her on a trip. Jacob suggest Ireland because he can take her on the trip she wants and he knows that is where Cole and his sister have been hiding out. While in Ireland, Jacob starts to see a little more of Leila's walls breaking down until she finds him with Cole. Cole is tied to a chair and blood is everywhere. Jacob has a knife and a gun and plans on killing Cole & his sister. How will that effect Leila now?

Ava has done it again!! Jacob and Leila are back and the story of these two keep readers wanting more and more. In The billionaire's Wife, Ava gave us more insight into Jacob. What we learned of Jacob in The Billionaire's Wife doesn't even compare to the insight we receive in The Billionaire Dom Diaries. In part one of the new serial, we see a completely different Jacob. He's more intense and protective than ever before. Struggling with all that he and Leila have overcome, Jacob is having a difficult time coping and finding peace. His struggles are taking him down a dark path that he's never traveled before. Readers will be wondering if this is yet the obstacle that Jacob and Leila will not be able to overcome as they've done so many times in the past. This new journey into Leila and Jacob's relationship will keep you on the edge of your seat and I guarantee you, you don't want to miss out on their new adventure!!

Whenever you have more Jacob, it's a good thing. A very good thing.
And Ava did not disappoint. I always want more Jacob and this time we get his pov.
This is after Cole took Leila.
So we get to see and feel his anger and rage.
He wants to get even with his dearest brother.
We see Leila struggling to move on. But its very difficult. She just wants it to end.
Jacob wants to help her.
So when he finds out where Cole is hiding out its his chance to end it all. and a chance to redeem himself in Leilas eyes and his own. He feels he let her down.
But what if the risk is worth more than the reward? What if he loses the only important thing in his life, while trying to make his brother pay?
You will have to read to find out.
It was AMAZING and I cannot wait for part 2!!

This was a great start for this series…it left me wanting…no…needing to read the rest, and I was hoping for an extension to Jacob and Leila’s story…it felt unfinished at the end of The Billionaires Wife series so I was ecstatic to get this in my email. I’m not sure how I feel about Jacob’s decisions thus far but I am hoping he doesn’t do something that not only he but Leila will regret later. These two are in need of a drama free HEA, with babies…I need that for these two.

GAH that cliffhanger though!!! I need part 2 ASAP…I need to know what happens next. Reading this from Jacob’s POV is so much more intense…he is a very intense character. I can’t wait to see where this series leads. But again I am praying Jacob doesn’t do something that breaks him even more than he already is.

After getting Leila back from Jacob's brother will life ever be what it was? In this series it is from Jacob's POV. We start to see how he was affected and how he so desperately wants to make everything right. He is the fixer, the one that is in control. Not this time. Leila is trying to get back to her normal too. Jacob cannot read her anymore. Will these two find each other again? Cole has left and is hiding out far far away, or so it seams. Jacob has had a tail on him for a long time. Revenge is all that is on his mind. Will a trip to Ireland help. I cannot wait to read more and see if Jacob can move past this.. I love the struggle that Ava has create for her Dom Jacob. This is rare to see.

Oh my gosh! Just when you think Ava can't top her previous work she blows it right out of the water. I should have know Jacob would never allow and act so unforgivable in his eyes be forgotten. His steadfast determination to get his form of an eye for an eye justice for Lelia won't be stopped. It's eerily scary the calm he exudes on the outside while on the inside he is a ragging beast out for revenge. I love the depth of these characters and in all honesty if I were Jacob I would seek revenge too but at what cost is enough? This series is smoking hot, eerily chilling & empathic all at the same time. As always Ava captures all this emotions with these too.....Cole had better watch out!

Revenge is a dish best served cold. Jacob just can't get over the kidnapping and hurting of Leila so he plots to avenge her. He already knows that this plan will hurt Leila, but goes through with his plan anyways. Going to Dublin, feigning real interest in the sightseeing and then leaving Leila to attend to "work". Interrupted in the moment by the love of his life, he sees that he can't live without her (swoon) and that he needs her. He finds out that Cole isn't all that bad and lives with the consquences of kidnapping. Together, Leila and Jacob leave Dublin behind but can they leave the past behind.

Oh no! Surviving Leila's abduction by Cole and his stepsister has left deep emotional scars for both Leila and Jacob. Jacob is struggling to move on and hates that he couldn't protect her from this nightmare. Leila is going through the motions but is unwilling to talk about the ordeal with Jacob. Is keeping silent really the best solution? As Jacob seeks revenge, will he drive a wedge in their relationship? I am loving getting Jacob's take on their relationship. It's hilarious how he treats the concept of writing in a diary.

I received an ARC of this book. I have loved the Jacob and Leila story. This book continues from where the series has left off but this portion is completely from Jacob's view. This time we see into Jacob's head and how he is dealing with the aftermath of Leila's kidnapping. You see how much he loves Leila but doesn't quite know how to make everything alright for Leila. Of course, he has way he thinks is correct but is it????????? Of course, Ava left us with a clifhanger, and I cannot wait for the next book to see how the story will unfold.

This is the first book( I can't really call it a book since it's 40 pages) in the Billionaire Dom Diaries series. Jacob Whitmore & Leila are one of my favorite book couples which is why I keep paying for 40 page "books". This one picks up where Billionaire Wife left off & I love that it's told in Jacob's POV. Leila is now safe after being kidnapped by Cole & his nut job sister but Jacob is angry about what happened to her & he wants revenge. I was like WTF at the end of this so I'm anxious for the next one.

I enjoyed this newest series. Although the cliffhanger was something else! Can Leila and Jacob get back to normal? Will they break up? Is Leila emotionally damaged for good? Will Jacob and Cole come to terms with what went on or will Cole be killed? Will we fall more in love with Jacob and ache for him or will we despise him? Only you reading this newest series and first volume will you find out... Be prepared for your heart to; race, ache, jump and for your nether regions to tingle!!!! Well worth the wait!

Jacob and Leila are back in a new 4 part series.

I think we delve quite deep into Jacob's character in this book. His POV, at times, is surprising. He really does come across as a very emotionally controlled man and yet there's an underlying vulnerability about him. He's not at peace yet after what happened to Leila.

Ava Claire does alpha men up there with the best. Her characters have many layers and their voice always matches their persona.

I can't wait to see how this series progresses. I just love reading about these two.

I love this book and the whole series. This book picks up after Billionaire's Wife. Leila was kidnapped and this books picks up after she is back home. The story is written from Jacob's POV. We see how hard this is for him because he really loves his wife. All that's on his mind now is getting the people that hurt his wife and I think they better watch out. Ava Claire left with a crazy cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what happens. Hurry!!!

My first reaction after reading this is...WOW! This is the beginning of Jacob and Leila's story told from Jacob's point of view. The love and total adoration Jacob feels for her is envious and obsessive. It's all-consuming for him. This is part one and it's fantastic! The end will leave you gasping and longing for part two already. Bravo Ava Claire! This reader is hooked again.

I loved that the story continues for Jacob and Layla. I can never get enough of this couple. In this book it's hot and keeps you on your toes making you want more. Keep in mind this is a series and leaves a cliff hanger but the next book comes out two weeks later, can't wait to read it. Another must read series by this author.

Oh... soo good. I love Jacob.. and feel sad for him because she won't talk about what happened. But I understand her not wanting to talk about it as well. Jacob is so alpha hott and Leila is beautiful and sweet. Very short story and you need to read the other series to seriously get it, but it's not 100% necessary. I really enjoyed it and glad that the author allowed me to read it.

Intense, Ava speaks wonderfully through Jacobs trile

Ava takes you on another journey tying the pieces of Jacobs life together and his struggle with his feelings so intense. The reach he has to acknowledge the struggles Leila is dealing with are truly heartfelt. Awesome read and I really cannot wait for what is to come.

I knew Jacob had a dark side that is from the way he was raised and that he would do anything for Leila but I didn't see this coming. What will Leila think now of her prince charming?
