I began writing dark erotica in 2014. I found that it really irritated me how authors bring down their male leads and make love stories sappy. I continually began to feel unfulfilled with reading. So I wrote a book how I like to read it. I find that although my stories are full on and seem a bit much, so many of my readers have connected to them. I try to tone it down ever so often in my books, but I find I write better the harder the material I write about.

Where to start on what is wrong with these books . Let me start by saying having read the entire "Black Bothers Series that this author writes the same story again and again just changing the names .

These books are about psychotic psychopathic brothers .There is not one jot of love or tenderness in any of these books . We are asked to believe that after brutally raping their virgin women and not giving a damn about how much they hurt them, then going on to beat them repeatedly that for some insane reason these women are supposed to fall in love with these guys ?? Why ?? They are slapped ,punched, locked up ,raped repeatedly as no is never an option. They are humiliated and degraded and made to take whatever these so called men decide. If they so much as look at another man they are choked, slapped unconscious or threatened with death ,with knives held at their throat or a gun at their head .Such love huh ? It may have been slightly more believable had there been interims of kindness or tenderness but the sex is always brutal. In each story the men cheat on their so called "loves" even to the point of making them watch.Pregnancy doesn't stop the abuse and in one of the books a brother feels it's just fine to bite his 18 month old daughter and sling her in a playpen to cry herself to sleep . Any woman who has ever been in a battered wives home will recognise their excuses "she made me act like that " "I couldn't control my jealousy ,she made me insane".Their hypocrisy is hard to swallow when each abusive brother then tries to "protect" his brothers mate .

There are NO hero's or dominants here .There are weak ,insecure psychos, end of . I just kept reading ,praying that they would finally get there just rewards but no .The author ended the series taking the ONE slightly decent man a friend of the family known as "The Protector" and turning him in to yet another psychopath. I'm going to be very kind and assume the authors first language is not English as the grammar and spelling mistakes almost make this unreadable .Missing words and the repeated use of "chocking" or "Ghetto " instead of get up ie "What are you doing in that ghetto ?" ,unfinished sentences that make no sense .Every single page has mistakes on it . Read one and you've read them all . They "slam" their cocks in to the women ,virgin or sore doesn't matter because they "need " to fuck them . They shove their cocks down their throat even knowing they have never had sex ,they slap them to the ground if they so much as look at them wrong . They give them a forced orgasm and then each and every time the author decides that these abused women then decide they "love" their captors They are never allowed out again. These books are a study in mental illness and abuse and the saddening thing is that this review almost makes them sound interesting .Trust me ,they are not . These aren't "dark" they are "pathetic".

This finishes up the Black Brothers series and I have to say I enjoyed this, Joshua killed me he was so mean and unfaithful to the nun, I hated him in Forbidden Fruit, he put her thru so much, but the next book he stared to redeem himself and now I love him, these brothers have a strong bond and tell it like it is. I will say that I will probably read these again. These are strong brutal over the top Alpha's so may not be for everyone except Dark reader's:))

At one point I forgot I was reading a book with different character cos of the amount of time emilia and Josh was brought in it. It might as well be emilias book cos damn, she's doesnt need to be the main focus of every book in this serise to have a good plot. She was so annoying in this too, but hazel was nice, just hated emilias character cos she was so overbearing and overused thru out the serise. Would have preferred more allyssar rather than her
