This book needs to be read as a product of its time. Within this, the temperament and dedication of Francis of Assissi is timeless in its potent compassion.
Took a while to read it. It was thought-provoking and needed to be read in bits and pieces. Provided me insight regarding St. Francis' holiness from the perspectives of his fellow "brothers".
