Emotional rollercoaster

This book was HEAVY! There were tears shed, snot dripped, heart pounding, laughter, anger, all of the above. Alecia J always does a great job putting a storyline together.

Ajoni wasn’t like your average twenty-something. She dedicated her life and happiness to that of her baby brother Kyrin, who had a congenital heart defect and a ticking time clock. Ajoni put her life on hold to care for her ailing brother, with no help from her absentee mother, and no show father (or so she thought). In her riskiest hustle yet, she becomes a mule and her life forever changes. She meets Domino, the brute underboss who doesn’t have the time or capacity for love. Seeing Ajori was love at first sight. It was up from the first glance. Between finding love and uncovering family secrets, this book gave me every emotion I didn’t know I needed. Alecia J can do no wrong

she does it again !

I don’t think there will ever be a book my girl writes that I don’t eat up !!! This book touched on so much . But what really was it for me . Was the build up of everything . From us actually getting to know the main characters separately before they come together and that was 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 To the build up of relationships restoration. This book showed it is never too late to get it right and you can spend so much time trying to be the strongest you can really miss what’s important. This book ended exactly how it needed to and I’m telling you now . It was definitely worth the wait !!

Another Alecia J Banga 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I knew this book was going to be good ,but I was not expecting the gems that were dropped. Ajori loved her little brother like she gave birth to him, a and that is very admirable. Vanessa was doing too much and not thinking clearly which happens more often than not. Domino was smitten at first sight. He was on her from jump but wouldn't admit it. Marcos and Lainey were so funny together, and they knew their best friends were hiding feelings. I'm ready for the next 🔥 read!

Her brother’s keeper

Things fell in place and Ajori’s life changed all because of Kyrin! Jo took on a job she shouldn’t have to save her little brother’s, Kyrin, life. She met the man of her dreams and her dad because of this job. Domino was perfect for Ajori. Lainey was a true friend. I loved their bond. Jo struggled for so long to help Kyrin because Vanessa wasn’t the mother she should’ve been. Everything ended up working out for their good. This family got their happy ending.

Present

You can be in a room full of people and still feel alone. Neglect and abandonment can happen at any moment in our lives.

We give our all for those we Love unconditionally not looking for anything in return. Continuing to pour from an empty cup helping, smiling while your heart is whispering please love and take care of me.

Alecia J will always have a supportive and loyal friend that will lift you up.

Well Written!

A very touching story. I truly enjoyed reading the book.I highly recommend this story. You might need some tissue for tears. Many lessons about forgiveness and growth were throughout the story. Vanessa was very selfish. How much money did she go thru over the years? Ajori and her were supposed to be financially set for life. You will not be disappointed choosing this book to read!

Whew!

This had a little weight on it 😩🥺😰.

This was such a great read though. Damari and Ajori were everything. I love when they guy loses his mind first, because yeah bae let me know how you coming bout me lol.

That dang Vanessa, smh. Idc idc, ain’t no coming back from that. Like yeah, forgiveness is for you and not the person, but she wouldn’t have been able to be in my space, period! Domino and Kyrin would’ve just had to feel how they felt!

Great read

This author has become one of my favorites. The life Ajori lives is all for her brother. Unconditional love has no expiration. She sacrificed her life so he could live. So glad she got her HEA. This book is packed with so many life lessons.

👎🏽

Took 70% for anything interesting to happen. Then only got about 10% of anything between the “boss and the mule”

very good

Not what I expected, but better. However, Vanessa needed her arse beat 1 good time to make me feel better.
