This omnibus edition brings together both novels of the original Memento Vivere duet, Brittle Heart & Tough Soul, along with exclusive b/w artwork and bonus content.
My life has never been perfect.
In fact, it’s anything but.
When my parents passed away in a car accident, I had to take care of my little sister. I supported us both as I tried to finish college and work two jobs. It’s hard to focus on my life when I have to keep myself together for someone else.
But just as I felt everything was falling apart, I landed my dream internship at the NYPD Crime Analysis Unit. Although I am guarded, my new boss is determined to befriend me, and so is her cop brother and his two best friends. As hard as it is to keep my walls around them up, they’re starting to crumble.
With my new connections in place—searching deeper into the truth of my parents’ accident—it causes unwanted attention from powerful people.
Though the truth may be harder to swallow.
What if the truth will change the course of everything I’ve ever known?
The Memento Vivere Duet is a slow-burn, spicy, MMFM why-choose contemporary romance.
I’m obsessed with this duet, it was actually my introduction into Blake’s books years ago and now look at me obsessed with everything she writes and I couldn’t love her more (seriously she is the best if you haven’t talked to her yet) I love Carolina so much and how strong she is, even when she doesn’t necessarily believe it. The guys are all perfect for her and I love that the harem is built slowly will it fits so well with what she needed I’m obsessed. This is an emotional duet and a lot of insecurity is dealt with but they are a family and family is always there for each other. Howie is also probably one of my all time favorite side characters that Blake has written I just love him so much!
This duet combines Brittle Heart and Tough Soul into one with a beautiful cover. The author does a wonderful job expressing the trauma Carolina went through and her self doubt in her body image. Josh is very supportive and his love for helps her grows. We also were able to enjoy how Clay and Xander worked their way into her heart too. Poor Clay was like a golden retriever hard to take it slow but Xander - OMG hot! You got to read it. Let’s not forget about Howie who was a friend from the beginning when she needed one. Excellent read. Loved it. ******** Cover and all art by the amazing lan aka @lis_photoart.
The Memento Vivere Omnibus goes live on Amazon on May Ist.
This was my favourite of Blake’s duets (until more recent duets) I love Carolina so much, everything she went through, she hid her heart, moved forward, and kept fighting, even if that meant taking punishment to protect her sister. She deserved Josh, he was so sweet, until you get to know him 😉😉 Her banter with Clay was hilarious and Clay’s relationship with Xander was amazing, I was so in love with them both. It takes Carolina so long to let them all in and she nearly loses everything. The spice in this was, wow, so good and I think I might need to add on another 🌶️ after reading that bonus chapter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Book 1 Loving this duet so far although it says is MMFM but in book one it was MM and MF so I’m hoping they unite in book 2.
The story is great and easy to follow I don’t normally route for an FMC but I hope she gets her happy ending and her uncle gets what is coming to him.
Book two featured MMFM which is what I was waiting for.
The story was really good and ended exactly how I wanted it to. So glad I held out and finished this duet. Not massively spicy and there is some sexy spice involved
An absolutely addicting story that I just couldn't put down. Carolina, Joshua, Xander and Clay are such wonderful characters. I love how supportive and sweet the guys are to Carolina, while also building her up. Chiara and Sophia are great side characters. And HOWIE! He is definitely the parental figure Carolina needed - someone to worry and care about her and be a voice of reason when she needed one. This is such a wonderful duet and the author hit it out of the park again!
Really liked this bonus edition with the pretty art, chapter art headers, and bonus chapter. I thought this bundled edition was great, and I really enjoyed revisiting favorite scenes. (Yes I did award a bonus star from my original review for the pretty. That’s allowed.)
